Really well done video. Best review of this boat I have seen A lot a very useful information without all the BS video effects and obnoxious music. Unlike so many other youtube reviewers that spend most of their videos trying to show how cool they are, you guys get to the point and provide real information from real, down-to-earth people. I've been thinking hard about this boat and y'alls video might have just pushed me over the edge.
I really appreciate it. We definitely aren’t over the top and don’t get ridiculously over excited, but we just love fishing and we wanted a reliable boat our family could enjoy. I just decided to try to show others all of the boat, in case they can’t get to one in person and see it very easily. We have two boys, so the TF model with the side by side seating up front is awesome for fishing with a kid and still being able to work the trolling motor. If you didn’t, feel free to subscribe to our channel! And if there’s anything else you’d like to see or know about it, don’t hesitate to holler!
That is a nice boat. You did a great video. I bought a new Tracker Pro Guide V16 with a 90 after fishing out of a Sylvan 1600 with a 40 for 20 years. It is day and night difference on the take off. The new boat handles the chop so much better. I think we both experienced a welcome change with our new boats. I look forward to more videos. Enjoy the new boat.

Nice! I agree about the trolling motor, I have the tracker SE pro team 175 with a 2 stroke 40 hp, the trolling motor has done just fine for 24 years! Even did ok on the Detroit river with 3 adults in the boat, but had to run it on high. I just put a new trolling motor on last weeek, went with a 55 lb thrust, wanted to stay at 12 volts, didnt want the added weight of anouther battery, the stern of a tracker doesnt set very high out of the water as is so the less weight back there the better in my book. Enjoy yr boat!

Nice review --- I have a 2011 TF. I love that thing. One of the features of the TF over the TXW are the side gunwells are taller. To me, I think that makes the boat a little safer than a boat that doesn't have any.... HINT, you prolly will ditch the rear storage using it as a cooler. I tried that and didnt like it much. I just use a soft side cooler and throw it between the seats. If I want to, I can move it up front and the tall gunwells wont let it fall into the water. Plenty of room in teh cockpit seating area too. Funny Story..one of my buddies has a TXW. He told me the TF isn't a real bass boat. I told him if he can't catch bass out of the TF, then he can't catch bass out of any boat! haha. And I agree on the trolling motor. I dont know why anyone needs more thrust than the 45. However I do certainly see the plus side of a trolling motor with a spot lock, especially on a windy day.
Oh we love the taller sides for sure. We have a 3 year old son and another boy on the way, so that little bit of extra safety definitely is helpful! We love the side by side seating up front for crappie fishing! So far everything is great! I was wondering how the “ice chests” were going to perform. It sure would be convenient to have those tackle trays in there instead! 😂 I agree with you on the TF not a real bass boat! Lol It’ll definitely get us to our bass fishing holes without a problem! 😂😂. I sure appreciate your comment! I hope you have time to check out some more of our videos! I have the wowed model of this boat. There two issues I hate. The Minn Kota 45 is too weak in the wind. 45 pounds is just too weak for the weight of the boat. Second, you can’t recess the trolling motor foot pedal. There is a support beam right where it goes. Other than those two items I love my boat. I did up grade to the 75 hp engine. More power faster out of the gate. You can get a bicycle seat or the Pamal seat which I have. Better view without having to take the seat out.
I have definitely noticed the trolling motor struggling some in the high wind, but I just run up into a cove and stay out of it. I actually like the trolling motor loose and able to move, because I’m swapping from my seat in the middle, to me and my wife being side by side. I’m afraid a recessed pedal would be an issue when trying to sit side by side anyways.
@@NaturalStateFishing I use mine for Bass Fishing and very little crappie. I’m totally disabled and I have to sit when using the trolling motor. So I put it more to the right and screwed it down. Works perfect. I honestly wished I had got the 195 TWX. I have taken off the 5” depth finer and replaced it with a 9” and mounted a 12” at the bow. I networked them together so the wife has her own and can see everything including the FFS. About September I’ll be adding a Lowrance Ghost trolling motor. Spot lock is a must. Plus the Ghost will link to my Lowrance depth finders. I might suggest that you get the Vessel View for your engine. It feeds all the engine data to you depth finder and will tell you if and when it’s time to service it.
@@jameslovelace8958 oh man yeah sounds like you’ve got a nice setup for sure! I just have a 9” Garmin up front now for livescope, and I have a helix I need to put on once I decide the best way to mount the transducer without drilling into the transom! Haha. Also the vessel view is something I definitely want to get!
Not entirely sure on an exact weight, but I tow it with a 2 wheel drive 4 cylinder Tacoma and have no problems at all! I’d guess around 2,000 pounds loaded down and fueled up. Thank you for stopping by the channel!
My truck is rated for 3,000 pounds on towing capacity, and I have no issues. I pull my boat 1.5 hours one way at the furthest, so not exactly going cross country but it does fine. The TF is a fantastic boat, and I still love mine every second I’m on in. The side by side seating option up front is perfect for crappie fishing the way we do!
I own the same model. The boat is good. The Mercury 75hp is far too weak for this boat and can't possibly really be 75 horses. Mine feels like maybe about 50 HP after owning a Johnson 2 stroke 70HP pushing the same size boat.
I appreciate you watching! We just bought the boat for fishing, so it’s perfect for what we’ve been using it for! Definitely don’t plan on winning any drag races out there! 😂. I hope you consider subscribing to the channel and see what else we have to watch in here!

Put my deposit down on one today will pick it up Thursday
That’s super exciting!! You’ll love it! We’ve sure been enjoying ours.
how much does is the tow weight
Not entirely sure on an exact weight, but I tow it with a 2 wheel drive 4 cylinder Tacoma and have no problems at all! I’d guess around 2,000 pounds loaded down and fueled up. Thank you for stopping by the channel!
@@NaturalStateFishing thank you! I'm in the market but need to make sure my suv can tow it.
That look super modernized Hi tech and Fancy.. hopefully the maintenance and all the usual small fixing will be easy.. now I wished that I have one like that.. by the way did it already have a name yet??? If I Should named it.. it will be "mudskipper"
Thank you so much for watching! It’ll be a good reliable boat for us to make a lot of fishing videos with!! Ohh! We DO need to name it!! Mudskipper is a good name! I’ll run it by the boss! 🤣. Thank you so much for your support and your friendship Oscar! I hope you have a great day!
You are most welcome buddy.. wishes y'all a great day too. And remember Don't go sneakily going out alone with that new boat without Sophie.. 😅
This video surely make me smile.. it is like the happy moments having a new toys.. like I myself is the one that owns it myself.. 😂
do it still smelled like shops..?? do we will keep looking for scratch mark..?? Do we will always have to wipes our shoe before boarding in..??
And.... there will be that one person of a friends that we will always avoid because they will ruined everything that are new.. 😅 I don't know why my brain reminding me all this thing.. 🤭🤣🤣
@@oscartangoromeo003 haha yeah I’m going to try not to scratch it up to bad! 🤣. Sophie did take her shoes off! lol. It definitely smells like that new dealership smell. To funny!
@@NaturalStateFishingmake sure the shoes is tie down because we don't want any overboard shoes incident happening.. 🤭🤣🤣🤣
@@oscartangoromeo003 🤣🤣 that would be bad!!
what's payments on the tracker look like?
Hey man! You can get one for around $250/month. I appreciate you stopping in to check out the video 🤘
@@NaturalStateFishing Thank for the reply
@tappinthatbassfishing no problem 👊 Hope you get a boat soon 🤘
You should wait to break that motor in before you open it up like that
At least 10 hours
@@slakethesnake Thanks for watching! We were trying to keep it under Mercury’s recommendation for the RPM range during break in, and working on varying the RPMs by the minute for the first couple of hours. I’ll try to not ruin the motor too quick! Haha
You didn’t really break in your motor
I didn’t want to make a 10 hour long video of me driving back and forth 😂😂. It’s broken in perfectly and hasn’t given a single issue since! I sure appreciate you watching 👍
Once you break that engine in you can hit 40 mph with it.
Ohhh yeah! It’s all broke in now and 40 is definitely doable! It’s been an awesome boat so far! I invite you to subscribe to our channel if you haven’t already, and I appreciate you watching this video!
This would be a nice boat for a tournament
We do a lot more just fun fishing, but we hop in a few tournaments a year usually! I appreciate you watching!
Yall please be careful!!
We will!!!
