I remember my first marathon training block. It was just a series of problems I have never encountered before. It gets easier though! And on race day it'll all be worth it. One of the most amazing things I have ever done.

Marathons aren’t easy but trainings definitely make them easier! Going too fast at the start is common but it’s so true the marathon starts at mile 20 that’s the importantance of long runs. Enjoy the training!

I see your on it with the s&c which has been vital for me and anyone upping milege or struggling with niggles. I too tried insoles at some point as my foot was tightening which was causing inbalance and hip issues. Anyway to cut a long story short i went up half a size in my trainers and since have had no issues. Infact the old size dont fit me anymore so maybe i was wearing wrong size all along 🤣.. either way maybe worth testing if your getting tightness in foot and insoles dont solve 🤔👍

Thanks! I’ve tried going up half a size, think I might need to try another half size up 😂 my feet have definitely grown!! Glad you sorted your own issue!

Good video, Interesting to see what effect the insoles have. I have a similar problem with my 2nd & 3rd toes on right foot after around 45mins of running. Opposite to you though as i have higher arches.

I also ordered some Bukihome "running toe protectors" from Amazon. They're little silicone protectors for individual toes. I tried them before the insoles in the end, and so far they seem to be working! I just put three on the affected toes and it has definitely helped so far! Worth a try for a tenner!
