One of the few clips on here that explains the subject in a short clear and precise manner, good work.
Point 4, currently using Yonex Rexis on the crosses, not only it gives more power but also much kinder on the arms vs a full bed of poly, haven't noticed much lost of control.

what about durability? I have been going full poly for some years due to the durability issue of the multifilaments.

Is lead safe in the long run? How about tungsten strips?

Hi Just bought Blade 16/19 V8....I found that has less head weight than the V7. You know where I should out weights to have the same balance of the V7? Thanks

I’m losing strength and power. I hit fairly hard but using too much energy. I may go to 17g strong but I’m trying to figure out which one. I use full bed of poly (used to blend some but not anymore). I’ve used Luxillon rough and the smooth one and I liked both ok. I’ve used smart string and it’s not bad.

Does it matter what tension you string? Won’t the tension go down as you play?

What are the multifilament strings that don’t move?

Great video but lowering the tension by 5 pounds might be too steep.

Which multi last the longest in a 16 or 17 gauge. I have t.e. and use a multi and I keep breaking them in a week or so

Might be late but the lower the number the more durable. The higher the more spin and playability

try velocity mlt, stinks a bit but best bang for the buck

I thought thinner string gave more control, rather than power, because the thinner string bites into the ball better.

@@intelcom4964 I play at 35 now, been experimenting all spring, probably going to drop it to 30 as the power and control I get with top spin is sufficient

@@intelcom4964 I haven't tried 30lbs yet, I'm just thinking about it. I like how 35 feels with Pro Hurricane Tour. Haven't had any elbow or arm problems. TBH, I haven't noticed any difference in loss of control from 50lbs to 35 lbs. More power and comfort though for sure.
