nice. iba tayo ng approach/solution but we have the same answer. kinuha ko muna lahat ng distances ng triangles to get 'd' which gives us the same answer 2172. akala ko kasi, yan ang requirement ng problem. so ginamit ko yung mga mga distances along x and y will still get you 2172 if multiplied sa perpendicular x and y components ng 750N, which confirms my solution is correct. anyway, im just looking for problems sa UA-cam to test if naiintindihan ko ang topic na to. Tama naman po yung ginawa ninyo, pero that is not recommend, since hindi niyo po nagamit yung concept ng forces and components, na para mapadali ang pagkuha ng moment, you should get the components of a force para mas madaling magmoment, dahil hindi sa lahat ng oras, given ang "d" to get a moment. Better to practice po muna na magresolve ng forces into components, para hindi niyo po need na gumawa pa ng mga triangles to get distances such as d for the Moment. :)

Halimbawa po ba, pag kinukuha yung summation of Mo, at assumed at clockwise,for fx will be positive while yung fy magiging counter clockwise. Summation of Mo=Ah(d1)-Av(d2), kung sakaling counter po magiging Mo=-Ah(d1)+Av(d2) po ba?

Hindi po distance ang nagiging negative, the rotation itself makes the Moment negative or positive. And Moment = Force x Distance. Therefore, if the Moment is counter clockwise, M = -F(d), otherwise M = +F(d). Pero depende pa rin po sa assumption mo sa rotation.

Hi! Sorry sa late reply. Ang terms na up and down are only for the direction of the forces. Up (+) and down (-) or depende sa assumption po ninyo. Samantalang ang sign na ginagamit po sa Moment is according to the rotation. Ang assumption ko po sa tutorial dito is Clockwise (+) and Counterclockwise (-).
Ang distances pong given is para sa mga forces. Kinukuha po natin ang x and y intercept para malocate kung nasaan ang overall effect ng mga forces na ito sa isang body and that overall effect of forces is what we call Resultant. Kindly check the videos for Chapter II Resultant para po mas maintindihan at maunawaan po natin ang ibig sabihin ng Resultant. Hello justin, ikaw ang mag seset kung saan ang + and negative mo ayon sa ikot mo. Sa ibang book counterclock wise ang positive . basta ilalagay mo lang din sa tabi ng sagot mo kung ano ang inassume mong + and - :) . and be mindful sa signs .

Hmmmm... kagaya po ng ilan kung mga estudyante, karamihan po pala hehe ay talagang nahihirapang intindihin ang rotation. ang mapapayo ko lamang po is try to imagine na may tali yung force and yung taling iyon is naka-pin sa iisang point for example, magcreate ka ng moment at point A. yung tali is nakapin at point A, then try mong hilahin sa right or left and then dun mo marerealize kung paano yung rotation. hope nakatulong ito. The assigned work that was given to us is a bit similar to this problem, we are asked to find the y-coordinate of point A however there wasn't angle given in the assigned work. My question is, how can you get the x and y component if you only have force as given and without angle? Thank You🤎

Sir may I ask lang po kung paano kapag more than 90 degrees yung angle na given ng force. Should I use it as it is or iminus ko po yung 90 degrees?
Mas convenient na iminus mo yung 90 degrees, para mas maimagine mo kung nasaan yung force, then saka mo idrawing yung mga components niya.

Magiging negative po ba yung distance kapag counter clockwise yung rotation?
Hindi po distance ang nagiging negative, the rotation itself makes the Moment negative or positive. And Moment = Force x Distance. Therefore, if the Moment is counter clockwise, M = -F(d), otherwise M = +F(d). Pero depende pa rin po sa assumption mo sa rotation.

Hi! Sorry sa late reply. Ang terms na up and down are only for the direction of the forces. Up (+) and down (-) or depende sa assumption po ninyo.
Samantalang ang sign na ginagamit po sa Moment is according to the rotation. Ang assumption ko po sa tutorial dito is Clockwise (+) and Counterclockwise (-).

bakit po kinukuha pa yung x intercept and y intercept kahit may given ng distances?
Ang distances pong given is para sa mga forces. Kinukuha po natin ang x and y intercept para malocate kung nasaan ang overall effect ng mga forces na ito sa isang body and that overall effect of forces is what we call Resultant. Kindly check the videos for Chapter II Resultant para po mas maintindihan at maunawaan po natin ang ibig sabihin ng Resultant. Sana ay nakatulong po ang sagot na ito sa katanungan po ninyo. :)

Hmmmm... kagaya po ng ilan kung mga estudyante, karamihan po pala hehe ay talagang nahihirapang intindihin ang rotation. ang mapapayo ko lamang po is try to imagine na may tali yung force and yung taling iyon is naka-pin sa iisang point for example, magcreate ka ng moment at point A. yung tali is nakapin at point A, then try mong hilahin sa right or left and then dun mo marerealize kung paano yung rotation. hope nakatulong ito.
