When I found Mr. Hall’s channel and decided to start watching him regularly, I realize what a great meteorologist he really is and I will tell you he has helped so many people he’s even help me . I live in California, but we had a lot of severe storms last year 2023 , where I live in Tehachapi and he actually was able to predict that one terrible hurricane that came through Mexico and up through California and landed right in our mountain town of Tehachapi and we were glad we had that information because we had flooding actually 7 inches of rain in five hours. That’s never happened around here before.. We had flooding everywhere and it was very devastating so thank you again Mr. Hall for all the good that you have done and for any of the naysayers out there you know what , they’re just jealous cause they know that you always gets it right and I thank you again for the fact that I was able to counteract some of the problems that happened when we had severe flooding Tehachapi, Ca . Here in abbeville LA, our grounds & waterways are already so saturated, it will be interesting to see how much more water we can take. The wind isn't the big thing we're worried about at this point
Here in north west corner of Tennessee we haven't had hardly any rain in two months, all of the grass has turned brown and my garden has come to a stretching halt producing anything.
I have family in Houston, and I worry for them. But Ryan is the best. I know where I live we'll only get rain, maybe. We need rain in the Southwestern Appalachian's in NC. And, YES, Ryan, it was really nippy this morning and of course my dog needed to go out at 6am!
Please don't wish that on the East Coast. Storm battered OBX doesn't need any more bad weather. There are 10 plus houses getting ready to go into the ocean now, with many more on the brink of being taken in. It's so sad watching my happy place being eaten by the ocean. 😢💔
I was living on the Gulf Coast of Florida in 1968, and Hurricane Gladys, a category 1 hit us. A category 1 hurricane has Sustained winds of 74 mph to 95 mph winds. (Try standing upright in 74 to 95 mph sustained winds outdoors. Next to impossible or flat out impossible to do) Gladys stalled off-shore from New Port Richey for 6 to 8 hours. A category 1 hurricane is strong enough to rip your entire roof off your house. Our house didn't receive any damage from Gladys, but we had water coming inside at the bottoms of the two doors, and around multiple windows. Our house had Terrazzo floors, and Marble window sills, so we spent the entire night wringing water out of this bath towels, then putting them back at the doors and windows. Gladys stalled off-shore of New Port Richey for hours, before she started moving again and made landfall north of us at Homasassa FL, ripped across the state causing a lot of damage in Jacksonville FL, then moved into the Atlantic Ocean. Houses farther back in the subdivision lost their roofs. We had a tree in our front yard up-rooted. That was the only damage we had. We were very lucky!
I live in Louisiana and currently I’m in the direct path of the hurricane. This will definitely be interesting to see what happens in the next couple of days.
The weather is bad through out the earth now. Major Solar flares pole movements could be effecting out weather too Prophecy said right b4 the Jesus returns these things will happen
Us too! Ida did me in. Living in studs and being without a kitchen for a year was enough for me. I’ve been looking for places to move since daughter will graduate next year and I’m like…” I don’t want to just move an 1 1/2 north to Baton Rouge”😅 I really like the “idea” of Huntsville AL, but I see they get big tornados sometimes. Idk man…but I can tell you this, our insurance ain’t going down. 🫤
Same here, @MrBadBoy ... I live in Houston, and I know how you feel. We've got fence damage, tree hit our roof & leaking water, and car damage. But, we still haven't even recovered from the Ice Storm. Insurance sucks and they delay you, and wanna pay nothing. Then, we have a $6500 deductible (or 2%), which they raised after last Hurricane. So, it's gotta cause a lot of damage before you get a penny.
Also, get this. We lost 3 cars in the last one in 2019. Yeah, Hurricane Harvey made in front of our house -- like 110 miles north of the Coast -- look like a swimming pool. Water was up to the door handle on our car, and we thought we were safe by moving it out of the street onto our drive way. No, water grew by 6 inches every hour. It was unbelievable.
Thank god for that wind shear. This still could be a bad storm for Lousiana, but without that shear, it could have been a catestrophic storm with the way that thing is going to intensify. Hope y'all make it through okay
