Gretzky might have been the greatest teen phenom to be the greatest ever. Wayne Rooney, Limale, Messi, Pele: all 16 year old international soccer stars. Willie Mays was a pro at 16. Armand DuPlantis was a 17 year old Olympic pole vaulter and is now a 6 time world record holder at 24.
Jeff George comes to mind, super gifted but didn't want to work on being better like other great quarterbacks did.
i'll never forget, i was in summer school in college. i went to the gym to shoot some hoops, just play around.

Crazy thing is Cooper flag reclassified and graduated HS a year early. He should be going into Sr year instead of enrolling at Duke.
Dara Torres wasn't a phenom. She had incredible longevity. Female olympian at 41 is insane.
I always wonder if Venus or Serena would could have been good at other sports 🤔
Adrian Peterson was a phenom in my opinion.
