Bringing back old stuff. May help your channel with the comment in 2023- Just purchased 1 this evening. Looking forward to it and thanks for your awesome designs Chris. Still want more Bush Bat runs 😂
DLT currently has 4 versions of these in stock so I was able to get one last week. This is already my best EDC fixed blade that I own due to the handle and cutting ease. Thanks for designing this knife!
As a dedicated member of PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) I think reviews of field dressing and skinning animals are important to reviewing knives that may be used for those jobs. Great review by both of you. Nice knife, too.
I don't have a regular sized Jessmuk but I own the Companion Jessmuk and I think it fills my needs perfectly. Great handle and steel! Double thumbs up Chris!!
I got one.. and its as advertised.. certainly a great knife.. JX6 and JX6 II follow this design (both of which I also have) and they all prove to be excellent performing knives.. kind of like a convex grind but in a different orientation to the blade.. works great!! The only problem is, I would get the regular sized Jessmuk, if there is one to buy..
Just got mine in today in the same matte black. What a beautiful blade. and the camera doesn't do the handle any justice so much nicer in hand. Want to pick up the big one in 3v, but cant find one in a color I like. hope to see a new batch all the good ones are sold out. Great job Chris
Victor Guzman very cool thank you👍! I like that better, I have the next gen with green micarta, but they came polished so I didn’t know. Do you like it, I plan on EDC ing it and bush crafting as well?
I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet. its been with doug wilson from yellowhawkcustoms.com . i should have it in the mail tomorrow. does feel good in the hand though..
Man that’s awesome! Yeah it looks like there really shouldn’t be any hotspots for bush crafting. I just ordered mine from DLT trading. I may have to get a Kydex sheath as well from Yellowhawk.
I'd been waiting for this knife since you first announced it. I got one in Green Micarta Matte to match my JX2 Jessmuk and JX6 with the same scales. Can't wait to use it on a deer this season, my JX6 did fantastic at skinning last year so I'll have to compare it to this one. Thank you for making this knife a reality.
Very cool, I really like this knife. It's versatile, the shape of the blade is great, the handle shape and length are good too. Plus, I think the Micarta looks awesome. I would love to own one of these. If I were ever planning on (or could afford) spending that much on a knife I would definitely consider buying the LTWK Jessmuk-C. You hit this one out of the park as far as I am concerned. Thanks for sharing & keep up the good work.
+Scott Rowan Or you could just try AEB-L and step outside your comfort zone. Look at the size of the knife. It doesn't need that kind of strength. O1 is a perfectly good tool steel but it's nothing special. I didn't have any stainless knives, and this was the perfect candidate.
I might try it out, but I think you should consider maybe doing a run of these with a saber grind and in 3v. That would be the perfect hunting knife in my opinion. Having the nice contoured handle, with the pointy tip and edge retention of 3v, and the sweeping belly of the blade, that would be the perfect one knife for hunting.
I bought some surgical sharp blades and those things are sharp as far as skinning but that's all its good for. For wood I bought some carving tools and started to make some wood signs"THIS WAY" "NAME'S" "EXIT" stuff like that for Christmas presents
Love this look. One day i might be able to have one. Need to justify the cost then i can have one. Until then i am stuck with my mora's. I do have a Condor bushlore that is fun to use around camp.
If I didn't have a next gen already (which fits the bill for a knife this size), i'd probably get one. I have a full size jx2 though. We had some friendly HFT (air rifle) competition today, but the target poles came as square pegs - can't drive one into the ground, even with a hammer. So I just went and sharpened them up, and it takes a fair bit of effort to turn a 1'' by 2.5'' plank into a sharp point. About 15 minutes (and several poles done) i just had a brain malfunction, and asked myself, why the hell am I carving instead of chopping? So I just went ham and indiscriminately chopped until I got the poles sharpened - no edge damage, and still paper-slicing edge on it afterwards.
What's with the pits in the steel? Not trying to be nit-picky, but my Ness from Joker is flawless and the Sandvic steel has held its edge for five months of aggressive use. To me, pits would be a turn-off for a knife, especially for the price. Great vid and I do like the exaggerated belly profile of your Jess. Quite functional either way.
Nick H Deep 6 Leather Works are u crazy? The normal one is 4.5" this one is 3.5" exactly what situation are u in where 3.5 is to small and 4.5 is to big?
Would really like to see you do the new condor undertaker bowie... Looks great value for what you get but unfortunately I haven’t found any reputable reviews on it
+Dukero88 I'm going to do the Bark River Shining Mountain Bowie soon. Probably a big price difference, but it's sooooo badass! I don't really have any hookups on Condor anymore. I can't constantly buy things JUST to do a video.
How about a 1095 or 1075 like their Bushcrafter budget edition? Sure would love one for us people who sit in the nose bleed section.....Im guessing that ain't gonna happen 🤔
Nice. Real nice. waiting for the fundage to build up and some other varieties to come out (maybe something like a CPM 3V / coffee bag Micarta version ;-) just an idea ). I know the wild game dressing is an issue with the crazies, but how would you guys feel about a kitchen prep segment with something like a roast or chicken (showing a quick trimming, quartering, deboning)? It's something most of us do anyway.
+Kemal Sadikoglu I'll do more when they become available again. Jess-X was far more plentiful. Doing videos on blades that are sold out just aggravates people. There are a couple making the rounds on UA-cam. HIS Survival and Tactical have done videos.
AEB-L ?? Is there a comparable steel that I might be more familiar with ? I would love this in a carbon version ....Please consider a lower cost version like LT did with the Bushcrafter . Im no cost Nazi I totally think quality comes with a price just saying that a budget one would really open up the customer growth .... Heck it could even bring folks into the LT club where they might save up for the special steel versions. Is there a reason for not making more budget friendly versions other than being "steel snobs" ...😉 just sarcasm bro. Personally I have to many stainless knives and want a carbon steel premium but I can't go above $200 right now.
Video ideas: with Kim Jun Un and Puerto Rico in mind, it might be time to revisit the idea of REAL preparedness. Got a basement to crawl in in case of fallout? Ready tô feed your kids in event supplies are disrupted for awhile? Can you fend off looters? Can you stay warm in winter? Got an alternative to your furnace? Health care needs? Get it?
Damn Chris awesome knife the sheath looks amazing too! They're all sold out right now but hope to get one soon! Keep up the good work brother take care....#Jessica
Keep Out lol ok now I see why I havnt seen him do any like that I been following him for a while never heard him mention knives like that and now I know why lol ty.
Sadly I just found out Marshall from going gear just passed away😭 Hope his legacy lives on. RIP Marshall. I hope this is not true. I' so bummed right now. I seen this sad news on Facebook please someone tell me it' not true
Ha! Doesn't matter when I get paid, my Mechanic AND my Dentist beat you to it! BUT since I can't get the First Run, that leaves more room for others! Honestly, it looks like a Damn Fine Knife. Why people can't get into the Sweep still baffles me, since almost every Steak Knife in their Kitchen has a Sweeping Tip to start their slicing of their Ribeye. Oh well, hope it sells out fast. Yeah Ohio.
Actually Will, you don't review your own knife, that I purchased and happen to like. At least you haven't since its introduction. I know Chris likes to promote kydex sheath makers for different knives, I haven't seen any for the Sospes. Not a hater, I've recently purchased the Vengeful 1 and it too is a great knife. Just think your blade could use a few more reviews and exposure.
I hate being poor you make such awesome knives brother hopefully one day I will own one of them but that will probably never happen really small knife and all my money goes towards bills and the kids Lol i feel bad when I spend $20 on myself I'm sorry I don't even know why I'm telling you all this I apologize and if you do read this I'm sorry for wasting your time man but you make awesome knives you really do brother if you send some out for UA-camrs the test or if one breaks or there's a defect in one and you could send it to me oh my God I would be so happy
Thanks. Like Chris said, there are thousands of knives, and after years i still love my litlle Nessmuk.. And true, i did not have a change to handle the Jessmukk... I'm just a Condor loyal on a low budget...
Rudy H maybe 140 max I agree. AEB-L is very cheap to buy. Flat stock nine inch long by two inch wide I can get for like 5 bucks. It's an awesome steel tho. IMO. Putting in the time/labor is what does justify the price...at 140 like most next gens.

I performed open-heart surgery with the spine of an LT Wright. :)
Just got mine in today in the same matte black. What a beautiful blade. and the camera doesn't do the handle any justice so much nicer in hand. Want to pick up the big one in 3v, but cant find one in a color I like. hope to see a new batch all the good ones are sold out. Great job Chris
Are the scales on your jessmuk “c” smooth or rough, like non polished micarta?
they are non polished micarta good for gripping
Victor Guzman very cool thank you👍! I like that better, I have the next gen with green micarta, but they came polished so I didn’t know. Do you like it, I plan on EDC ing it and bush crafting as well?

Man that’s awesome! Yeah it looks like there really shouldn’t be any hotspots for bush crafting. I just ordered mine from DLT trading. I may have to get a Kydex sheath as well from Yellowhawk.
Congratulations on the realese Chris ! Thanks for not making a small handled knife.
+sameold77 Thanks. Do you have an A2 or a CPM-154 JX6?
Are the scales on your jessmuk “c” smooth or rough?
How about a video of the entire JX family.
Very cool, I really like this knife. It's versatile, the shape of the blade is great, the handle shape and length are good too. Plus, I think the Micarta looks awesome. +North Country Adventures Thanks!
That thing is freaking awesome. I hope they are still circulating when I have the funds to get it. And the video and review was great.
You should make one in 3v or O1, then I would buy one. Would like to pick one of these up before deer season maybe.
+Scott Rowan Or you could just try AEB-L and step outside your comfort zone. Look at the size of the knife. It doesn't need that kind of strength. O1 is a perfectly good tool steel but it's nothing special. I didn't have any stainless knives, and this was the perfect candidate.

I loved the Jessmuk but I think this one might be even better at least for me. Awesome design... Wish I had gotten here earlier enough to get one!
me too I was late to the game. I was at work when this video posted. Didn't see them till they were all gone. :(
Looks like it would make a good skinning knife for field dressing.
Back in stock
Love this look. One day i might be able to have one. Need to justify the cost then i can have one. Until then i am stuck with my mora's. I do have a Condor bushlore that is fun to use around camp.
I love the curve, I have the bushbat and it's great. I have a thought for another knife design for your knife line and I really want it.
Just ordered one in matte black to match my 3V Jessmuk
+Nathan Schmoekel I hope one-day to get one in Orange G10
What's the difference in Canvas and Canvas Matte?
LT makes some damn fine knives. I've got a Genesis 3V and a GNS 3V coming in the mail.
Just ordered my jessmuk c. Cant wait to get it. Looks awesome.
I think that size makes even more sense than the original
Wow NICE!!
Congratulations Chris!!👊
Very nice blade there Chris, love the prime box example haha
Love it, this is going to make a great skinner and for now is my new EDC
If I didn't have a next gen already (which fits the bill for a knife this size), i'd probably get one. I have a full size jx2 though. Very nice no doubts. Really well executed
Just got mine. Amazing knives
Awesome knife. Looking snappy Will
I would love to see you design a Jessmuk parang type machete I think that would be awesome 😎
Hi Chris, I want this knife so bad (I have already the standard Jessmuk) but I can not find it any where, is this discontinued ?
I'd like to see a medium sized Jessmuk in between the two sizes.
Nick H Deep 6 Leather Works are u crazy? The normal one is 4.5" this one is 3.5" exactly what situation are u in where 3.5 is to small and 4.5 is to big?
Clever design!
Good job.
Man i want this!! Too bad in saving for a Toor Raider... cant decide!
I love mine and I would like to see a folder version
Would really like to see you do the new condor undertaker bowie... Looks great value for what you get but unfortunately I haven’t found any reputable reviews on it

Chris a great looking knife and sheath.
"I open my mail with the spine of a lt wright"
I can see Black Scout Survival's upgraded flashlight in the back ground. Are you gking to do a review of that? 19:00 bottom left corner
How about a 1095 or 1075 like their Bushcrafter budget edition? Sure would love one for us people who sit in the nose bleed section.....Im guessing that ain't gonna happen 🤔
I'm digging my Jessmuk-C so far.......
Are the scales on your jessmuk “c” smooth or rough
Chris that is a beautiful knife u r a awesome designer
An awesome knife for scout carry.
I Like it. No, LOVE it! What is the weight on this one?
That's a wicked knife. Nice job
Nice. Real nice. waiting for the fundage to build up and some other varieties to come out (maybe something like a CPM 3V / coffee bag Micarta version ;-) just an idea ).

Rest in Peace Marshall Hoots, founder of Going Gear. Gone too soon.
Last comment. What flashlight came in that Amazon prime box you cut up?
+SC bushcraft backwoods A Wowtac
PREPAREDMIND101 very nice.
Chris you haven't done any in depth videos of your Venge 1. When you had the Jess X you did tons of videos. I only saw 1 on the Venge 1.
+Kemal Sadikoglu I'll do more when they become available again. Jess-X was far more plentiful. Doing videos on blades that are sold out just aggravates people. There are a couple making the rounds on UA-cam. HIS Survival and Tactical have done videos.
Chris that makes perfect sense. Can you list all 8 knives you made? I have 4 of them I think
AEB-L ?? Is there a comparable steel that I might be more familiar with ?
I would love this in a carbon version ....Please consider a lower cost version like LT did with the Bushcrafter . Im no cost Nazi I totally think quality comes with a price just saying that a budget one would really open up the customer growth ....

Ok..im saving money for this knife love it!!
Nice knife might have to save up
Are they still making runs of these? I'd love to get one
You literally just missed a run. No idea when we'll see more.
Another great knife!
I like it Good designing believe it would be good for skinning.
Damn Chris awesome knife the sheath looks amazing too! They're all sold out right now but hope to get one soon! Keep up the good work brother take care....#Jessica
Sweet knife!
Awsome chris!
Hey can you review some Helle knives? Wanna buy but can't find many reviews on them ty.
Daniel Ward he hates traditional stuff like that. Well hate isnt the right word, more like just not interested
Keep Out lol ok now I see why I havnt seen him do any like that I been following him for a while never heard him mention knives like that and now I know why lol ty.
Got mine!!!!
Great looking knife. My girlfriend is going to kill me when I but another knife!
Got one! 😃
Btw ordered this knife too....
Just got mine, the set is complete.
looks nice
Coming Christmas 2019!
www.dlttrading.com/lt-wright-jessmuk-c?ref=2 (First 33 sold out. The rest of the 160 should be trickling in over the next week, week and a half).
I dig it. Ive never used a Nessmuk style blade. They seem solid overall.
+DropForgedSurvival Really isn't a Nessmuk at all. It's a play on the name (with Jessica). A viewer actually came up with the Jessmuk name.
PREPAREDMIND101 Fair enough. Still like the knife! Haha
PREPAREDMIND101 Do you ,by any chance , have an update on dark timber knives releasing soon?
what's the difference between Canvas and Canvas Matte?
So if you had to choose; this or the jx6?
+Nick Miller Depends. JX6 is designed to be an everything knife, whereas this is designed mostly for woods use.
Great looking blade......wish I were in the market for a new knife.
Sadly I just found out Marshall from going gear just passed away😭 Hope his legacy lives on. RIP Marshall. I hope this is not true. I' so bummed right now. I seen this sad news on Facebook please someone tell me it' not true
It's true.
looks like it has a micro bevel, is that what I see??
+tim kitzmann Almost every knife in existence has a micro bevel. What does that even matter? Answer: It really doesn't.
Ha jokes on you. I don't get paid on Friday. I get paid on Wednesday.
"Jezmick" 😂
Yeah Ohio.
This knife should be made with a full flat grind.
No
Talk about a super slicer.
Did drop forged survival steal your intro music and basically your intro in general?
Actually Will, you don't review your own knife, that I purchased and happen to like. At least you haven't since its introduction. I know Chris likes to promote kydex sheath makers for different knives, I haven't seen any for the Sospes. Not a hater, I've recently purchased the Vengeful 1 and it too is a great knife. +bushcraft2012 He's not super big on kydex is probably why.
It's hard to believe that People Eating Tasty Animals would have problems with a video showing game being processed.
Maybe if it isn't too heavy might be a good necker with the right kydex sheath? Hmm...
+CristalClear I wouldn't use it as a Necker. JX6 would work better, but when that is pushing it. I don't like big neckers.
Please tell Chris to go into retirement before I go broke buying his knives. Peace
I would,.. just buy,.. a Condor Nessmuk.. 1075,.. Work's 99.9 times.... With respect..
Ok..? It's a completely different knife. And yes....there are thousands of knives.
Gronzki N.L. theyre not comparable at all. Really
Thanks. Like Chris said, there are thousands of knives, and after years i still love my litlle Nessmuk..
And true, i did not have a change to handle the Jessmukk... I'm just a Condor loyal on a low budget...
Nothing wrong with that. I deal with that in an upcoming topic video I just edited.
More to lust after. :)
And they're all out of stock ...
Nice little blade but it's overpriced by about $100 IMO.
+bill R Because raw materials just assemble themselves, right? It's a small shop American made knife with a lifetime warranty.
$120.00 Max
Rudy H maybe 140 max I agree. AEB-L is very cheap to buy. Flat stock nine inch long by two inch wide I can get for like 5 bucks. It's an awesome steel tho. IMO. Putting in the time/labor is what does justify the price...at 140 like most next gens.
Sub 100.00 or GTFO.
Too many awesome competitive choices at that price range.
+nolobede Made in the USA with lifetime warranty? To each his own.
Yes, all good. but so are many others. Still needs to be competitive.
The sheath helps. I might flex some on that.
nolobede "awesome competitive choices" meanwhile theres still no other full tang ulu knives.
lol
4th😂
this knife is wack.
+CARBiNOX because....?
