I always found Super Battle Droids badass when I first saw AoTC. And one does not forget fighting against those units in Republic Commando.

4:53 i have NEVER noticed this in Attack Of The Clones, even after watching the prequels countless of times until now;
The B2 actually shot the B1's in front of him. Either to clear the line of fire, or because it got confused by the dust storm created after the droid transport ship crashed.
The fun thing about the orange panthacs in the vong war is that, if I recall correctly, the single platoon of B2s alone defended the entire planet against not just regular vong forces but even Firebreathers, the biotic analogue even bigger and more powerful than an ATAT, and the basis for them not being rolled over is because droids aren't really affected by fire-based weaponry, even if it's coming from something literally larger than an ATAT

@@Manda-LORE Question: whose voice do you hear when you read about Quinlan Vos? The one in TCW is a little... off for me. I'm sure the actor could pull it off, but when I see Vos in the Republic comics, I hear Roger Craig Smith doing his Batman voice.

If you think you can take it down quickly, you haven't played Republic Commando.
Republic commando got them really wrong in terms of what they should be, they stretched the lore too much and basically created fundamentally different droid that looked like a B2 sbd

Wait, what about the Grappler droids that were also based on the B2 Super Battle Droid? Except they were melee focused as evident with their big metal glass that have repulsive force-field technology to block lightsaber strikes. They are from the ROTS video game.
There are a few others I left out too, that are also based on the B2 chassis such as the cold assault droid, the D-60 assault droid as well as the awamp gas droids.

I think this is a flaw in legends since the idea of the super battle droids being made from Phrik makes absolutely no sense I do prefer legends but I won't ignore it's flaws
