The beautiful old city, the pleasant and kind people and the amazing sunsets at the coast make this city a must seen destination for everyone who travels through croatia.
Some attractions which you won´t miss if you ever travel to Zadar, and which are part of the video are: Sea Organ, Greetings to Sun, Church of St.Donatus, Roman Forum, Bell Tower St.Donatus and many more.

The best town 'i've seen in croatia.... much more "human" than dubrovnik and cleaner than Split ! Almost feel like i was in north california or some town in Australia thanks to the cool atmosphere !

Croatian women are beautiful, and I saw for myself. During my summer vacation in Croatia, I met a beautiful Croatian woman who is now my wife. I also recommended to a friend to go to Croatia to find eternal love for himself, he listened to me, now he also lives in a happy marriage. By the way, I am also from Belgium.

@@biagiosapone8273 it was part of Croatian Kingdom. The Venetians attacked it. After that it was under Croatian-Austrian influence till second world war when Italians took it. And then after fee years, it joined Croatian part of Yugoslavia. Just because it was italian for some years and because Italians destroyed city doesn't make it Italian. It was Croatian mayority of time.

The first Croatian rulers gained control over the city in 10th century.
In 1202, Zadar was conquered and burned by the Republic of Venice, which was helped by the Crusaders. Croats again regained control over the city in 1358, when it was given to the Croatian-Hungarian king Louis I. In 1409, king Ladislaus I sold Zadar to the Venetians. When the Turks conquered the Zadar hinterland at the beginning of the 16th century, the town became an important stronghold, ensuring Venetian trade in the Adriatic, the administrative center of the Venetian territories in Dalmatia and a cultural center. During this time, many famous Croatian writers (Born in Zadar), such as Petar Zoranić, Brne Krnarutić, Juraj Baraković and Šime Budinić, wrote in the Croatian language. After the fall of Venice in 1797, Zadar came under the Austrian rule until 1918
The town did see a long period of occupation by Venetians, however its population was mostly Croatian.

Zadar (and Croatian in general) girls are the prettiest in the world without any doubt. You can avoid to mention Split here. You have no idea where to look when you are in town. Everywhere you look pure beauty walks around you. And city itself is breathtaking.
