_Final boss of the game, not encountered elsewhere_ Giant Dark Bowser (or Soul of Dark Bowser) is a secret boss from the Mario series, who originated from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and makes his exclusive appearance as the true final boss of "The True Arena/True Boss Endurance" in that game. He is the "soul" form of the Dark Star (and to an extent, the regular Dark Bowser from Bowser's Inside Story), having been created after absorbing even more of Bowser's DNA and the combination of many Ztars while returning to power after being nearly destroyed by Mario and his friends, and as with the original Dark Bowser, is a shadowed doppelganger of the original Bowser. Defeating him destroys him for good. He is also the form the Dark Star takes after absorbing enough of Bowser's DNA. His voice is exactly the same as Bowser's, and he has all the powers the original has, along with many dark variations as well. He is from a ROM hack of Mario Party 9, although he also appears as "mods" in various Mario games. In New Super Mario Bros. Wii's final boss endurance, or especially in Parallel World 9-8, Dark Bowser always serves as the game's true final boss, only if certain conditions have been met. After Dark Bowser becomes huge, the player could do nothing but flee from the TRUE FINAL BOSS, this time, the chase is much longer than in the real Bowser fight, since Dark Bowser's attacks are now much faster and more lethal. During the true final battle, Dark Bowser not only has the ability to create boulders, cages and energy balls as the means to attack Bowser, recover any and all damages given to him, and making use of dark variations of Bowser's own minions, sending them after the player, but also has the ability to fire lasers, in addition to now breathing purple fire (such fire cannot be extinguished). Also, fireballs do not hurt Dark Bowser at all regardless of phase or appearance and most of the platforms are reduced in size (especially in New Super Mario Bros. Wii or New Super Mario Bros. 2). For this portion, the player will now make his way through the labyrinth as Dark Bowser's flames and claw swipes destroy structures blocking his path; those attacks are now faster. Eventually, Mario will reach a new section composed of floating platforms, which are now reduced in size. Dark Bowser will use a new attack here, pounding the lava to send waves at Mario; those waves are now faster and can now fire lasers which evolve from streams of purple fire. Only if the player actually hit the final switch (similar to Epic Super Bowser World), should they do so, it actually destroys the floor, and causing Dark Bowser to sink through it, and is finally banished into his own portal, thus defeating him for good. In the In the Extra Mode's post-credits scene, an exhausted Larry Koopa is seen limping toward Bowser's Castle following his defeat in either World 1 or World 9-1 in Extra Mode. As he collapses and passes out, Bowser Jr. walks up to him, orders him to get up, and shows him the rest of the Koopalings trying to actually get rid of a now-unstable Dark Bowser into a pit. They finally succeed and celebrate, as the castle soon falls on top of Dark Bowser, killing him for good, as the screen cuts to black and a similar crushing sound is heard, ending Dark Bowser's terrorization once and for all. When this happens, upon actually defeating Dark Bowser in World 9 in the Parallel Extra Mode, the message "You've completed everything in New Super Mario Bros. Wii" will appear, implying that World 9 is the actual final boss world rather than World 8. (as a reference to Epic Super Bowser World)
Super Mario Bros Wii Dark Bowser version has to be the most accurate
It has to be SMBU Dark Bower, because it captures Peach's Castle, the same thing occurred in M&L: Bowser's Inside Story

Wii has the best Dark Bowser model and roar, but Wii U has the best Dark Bowser castle model
Only Dark Bowser is the actual true final boss, according to the game, "Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story".
