Zlatan actually is humble... he has eye contact with his interviewer and shows respect and shows respect to the ones he likes. He just knows who he is.
He just really likes to joke when he says those things he doesnt actually think that he is the best ever but nobody understands his background and why acts and talks like that. He is from the trenches thats how you survive there

That's not what he said. He said ''I'm not saying I ran over the defenders, but I did....what I was able to do.'' At least quote the full thing for accuracy.
Crazy how he says Ronaldo R9 is his idol, but there is actually ONLY 5 year age gap difference between them. R9 started so young playing at the top and made such a big impact, that when Zlatan was coming up, R9 was already a household name.
He wasnt speaking about the Ronaldo from Portugal, he spoke about Ronaldo from Brasil, ( born in 76 so he's older than Zlatan). He was calld The fenominal and Zlatan idolized him when he grew up( just realized he mentioned it)...
@@hallqvist77 Yes that’s why I said R9...there is only 5 year gap in between. There is only 3 year gap between CR7 and Zlatan. I was saying it’s strange how an idol of Zlatan is ONLY 5 years older than him, that’s almost the same generation of player. The difference is R9 career went downhill in late 20s

Zlatan once said that his idols growing up was the Brazilian trio of Romario, Rivaldo and Ronaldo, and that he used to study VHS-clips of all three of them.
Ronaldo (no-9) was by far the best striker in the world late 90’s/early 00’s, so i don’t see what so weird about Zlatan wanting to be like him during his youth.
Ronaldo9 was best player at 18 he had already peaked at 19 he was ballod dor winner even playets older than him saw him as idol

Zlatan has almost everything…but he lacks pace. He had more when younger but he was never that explosive, like mbappe, neymar, ronaldo, messi etc. Of course he has other things to make up for it. But he does not have everything. Sometimes he can be too static. World class player though for sure.
Look at Neymar, he lost pace with age and Mbappe will have the same issue because his strength is his pace. Neymar is very technical but not so for Mbappe.
