Claudette recorded “Hips Don’t Lie” for the Dirty Dancing 2 soundtrack way before Wyclef re-recorded it for Shakira. I love Shakira but I personally like her version better.
Wyclef wrote it when he, Lauryn Hill and Pras was trying to put The Fugees back together. It was called "Lips Don't Lie". Lauryn didn't like the song.
I remember watching R&B Divas and Claudette looked so sad. She didn't return for the last season. She also had Ryan Toby on the show asking for help with the kids.

Robbie was the subject on an episode of Intervention for alcohol. He seemed like he was still bitter about a lot of things that transpired during the group's run but I do not Claudette was lying on him. He came off very mental & verbally abusive towards the mother of his children during the episode. It came off as if he was disappointed that he was with her and not Claudette but I've seen abusive men berate their present victim because the original target got away. She seemed depressed a lot so it wouldn't surprised me if he laid hands on her as well. I hope he is getting help for his issues though. Everyone deserves a chance at a better life in order to be a better person.

It's ironic, City High's love triangle and being discovered/signed by Wyclef Jean, who had his own entanglement going on with Lauryn Hill while in The Fugees. And Steve Harvey is right about the "men and women can't be friends" thing. Younger me wouldn't have believed it but nowadays, a lot of people are just having relations with whomever happens to be around at the time, and they want to do it with someone they can trust (AKA a friend) over a random Tinder hookup.
