Thanks bro for actually letting kids being able to watch your channel, unlike others who got some reason think they all absolutely need to swear on their food reviews
@@dodgedemon840 There’s a good amount of those, but imo parents are more of a problem in regards to swearing. Obviously videos with swearing doesn’t help, but the fact that parents scold their children for watching things with mild swearing in it, while saying the foulest things in the presence of their children is crazy.
I love your channel ❤️. I grew up in MN and live in Wisconsin. I cooked for a living and I'm a home cook. I love how honest you are, because I've only had Panera once. It's too expensive for what you get. With our familiar taste, the only opposite we have is I like pickles! Lol. ❤. Keep being you and the positive, awesome videos!
I wish I could say that I was an og fan, but I can't lol. I just found this channel a few weeks ago, and I've been loving every second of this content. Keep going bro, your channel is super dope!
I appreciate you taking the hit on this place for me. I took Panera out of my rotation about 5 years ago because of the terrible value and honestly the food quality started dipping as well, at least in my location. So I'm never gonna find out myself if they release something thats actually decent again.
As far as Starbucks.. their food isn’t good and yet I still find myself getting it. Bacon Gouda sandwich, ham and cheese croissant (which they literally sell the exact same ones at Costco for a way better deal), the ham and Swiss sandwich or the tomato basil sandwich. Very mid, especially for the price, but convenient if I’m going to stop there for a drink.
Same i currently work at Panera I think the food for the most part is fine just way too expensive for small portions that why when I’m working the salad station I try to go over the recommended portion size to make the customer salads worth there money cause the prices they charge is straight up robbery
Same I worked there a long time ago, one of my first jobs, & we got the You Pick Two combos for cheap. Also, it’s a clean restaurant. They had us cleaning deep cleaning for 2 hours after closing 😅.
Same thoughts. I even consider it good food. It’s just priced like they’re a bougie cafe… when they’re not. Their coffee (if you drink black) is terrific, though! That and their fresh breads bring me back.
Panera bakery is pretty good. The baked goods and breads are always solid. I rarely get sandwiches cuz for the same prices I could get a much better one.
8 bucks for those sandwiches is criminal. I know places are struggling but so are the customers. 😅 Edit: Just realized that its 17 dollars for a chili and half sandwich. Thats crazy bro.
I work at Panera. I recommend getting a "regular" grilled cheese or the kickin' grilled cheese on the tomato basil bread and have it double toasted. You can always ask for things to be lightly toasted, double toasted, or well done, and they will try to make it happen. The ciabatta bread is very good though. It's funny because how he described the salsa verde spread is how I described it when we first got it. It's not really salsa verde and I wish they had called it something else, but yeah it's like spinach artichoke dip but with "Mexican" flavors and a kick. The chili used to be turkey but they changed to beef this year, but also added more things to it to make it chunkier. I also like to add it to stuff but it's fine. Panera used to have a cranberry orange muffin but they retired it in April, and then they brought out the slice in like...September? We can't keep it in stock. We sell out every day. It's not sweet, but most customers get our coffee (I don't drink coffee but I'm told ours is good,) so if they have it with their coffee, then King is spot on. Thanks for giving things a try with an open mind.
Back before they became Panera, when it was St. Louis Bread Co., they made everything in-house from scratch, the food was 🔥🔥🔥 and the portion size was huge.
I like the bacon gouda sandwich, pesto and mozzi sandwich, or the egg bites (potato chedder chive). Oh and I like the ham and cheese crossaint. for something sweet, I get the pecan walnut bread sometimes or the berry Danish (seasonal).
First time I had real unprocessed orange juice from my grandfather's backyard, I was like what the hell is this!? Added sugar changes the taste so much.
They took away the turkey chili and gave us this watery shiit. When I was a trainer working there, we had it all. Actual paninis. Crispy grilled cheeses. Whatever you name, shit used to hit. After that german company bought them, this shit ain't it anymore.
Thank you for your reviews!! Definitely a place of potential despite the overpriced menu! Highly requesting you try the Panera Chili with Lays Fritos dipped inside and Smartfood White Cheddar popcorn mixed in AND Their toasted Frontega chicken sandwich with a side of their grilled blueberry muffin
Hey King I defy agree with you about Panera prices they are so ridiculous! I know because I worked there until 2012 I can imagine the prices now. I must say as a employee we received a good discount. As you were trying the orange cranberry cake I was thinking exactly what you said. I used to enjoy a orange cranberry muffin and it tasted the same way as you described. I cut it and toasted it added butter and had coffee. It isn’t sweet at all see… Panera tries to be as natural and organic as possible when they can so that’s why that item wasn’t to sweet.
Yes do Starbucks. Especially right now because they have some seasonal options. Turkey sage danish, sugar plum danish, dark toffee bundt cake, baked apple croissant, breakfast burrito, double-smoked bacon.
Panera. The king of overpriced mid. If the prices were more agreeable, I'd give the items a higher rating. It's the value system that holds this chain back.
Love your videos! I wished I lived in your state you have all the good places. Not much in Maine lol quick question have a did or heard of a place called Sad boys ?
I had Panera the other day for the first time. My job had it catered. I had two roast beef and asiago sandwiches that were good idk about everything else
For years I've thought Panera was overpriced and mediocre. I didn't realize until recently that most people have reached the same conclusion. But damn -- you sure made the cranberry-orange cake sound delicious. Their baked goods tend to be way too sweet for me.
Ideas for things to try at Starbucks: - Iced blonde vanilla latte - Cinnamon Dolce Latte -Cranberry or Strawberry Refresher no lemonade and no inclusions -Popping Matcha (3 pumps of vanilla) -London Fog latte (2 pumps of vanilla) -iced lemon loaf -sausage, egg and cheese with sriracha - pink drink
King doesn't like Panera, but still takes one for the fans.... Respect.
Dude is the only fast food reviewer worth a shit outside of TROTW
Thanks bro for actually letting kids being able to watch your channel, unlike others who got some reason think they all absolutely need to swear on their food reviews
I do try🫱🏾🫲🏽
@farmingngu I understand that, but it's good to find a channel were it's 99% clean or not hearing every 2 words being beeped over
You don't like it he constant played out innuendos and lame sexual jokes in some other people's reviews? It's insufferable isn't it.

King is almost at 300k. You go get em champ
Amazing reviews, love your attention to detail and willingness to call places out.
Anyone else think that $9.00 for a cup of chili is crazy?
Yes...I do. Absolutely would not spend that much on a cup of chilli.
Chilli is Less than $4 @ Wendy’s 😂
$2.50 for a 15oz can at walmart lol
@@sublime053 Right? And it probably costs around that much to make a large cup of Panera's chili.
Redicoulous

When Panera is fresh it hits. All their breads and cookies can be top tier. Agree the soups are mid at best.

Yea.. $9 for a large chili. "Large".. absurd!
@@payday1762yes I used to do the same. I always went a little over the recommended portion size lol.

lol! That subtle first reaction when you bit into the Cranberry Orange Cake 🙃
Panera has some good stuff... problem is you get tiny portions that are stupidly overpriced.
I was watching you on FB reels, just found you here 💜 I don't go to Starbucks either but I would watch, always enjoy your content. Thank you
8 bucks for those sandwiches is criminal. I know places are struggling but so are the customers. 😅

Panera used to be good for a minute then they got expensive and the food got terrible 😢

The grilled cheese at Panera (Dover, DE) was so good, I had to write home about it. (Jersey)
Back before they became Panera, when it was St. Louis Bread Co., they made everything in-house from scratch, the food was 🔥🔥🔥 and the portion size was huge.
Try DIGIORNO Thanksgiving Pizza!
Idk what Starbucks has either 😂😂😂😂😂 we'll learn 2getha Schratz
Hey King! I've enjoyed your videos all year. Keep up the good work 👏 ❤
Panera Bread's chili is made with dark turkey meat.
This is for the first item you get at Starbucks. I'm a fan.
What’s good at Starbucks? (and thank you!)

You do a great job at describing how the food tastes...very helpful.

Try the cranberry bliss bar, pumpkin muffin , one of the breakfast sandwiches, and the sweet cream cold brew 💪
I’d love to see a starbucks review!! It’s definitely bite size grab on the go with your coffee my favs are the egg bites and bacon gouda sandwich
They took away the turkey chili and gave us this watery shiit. When I was a trainer working there, we had it all. Actual paninis. Crispy grilled cheeses. Whatever you name, shit used to hit. After that german company bought them, this shit ain't it anymore.
Try arbys new deep fried gobbler
I’d be curious to see your reactions to Starbucks items for sure.👍🏻
The best thing at Panera is the Kitchen Sink Cookie
I enjoy Panera but thank you for doing these and saving us all $70
300k by thanksgiving!!!! Let’s goooooooo 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wendy’s recently came back to our town and sang, I don’t remember the chili being this good but it was divine!
wendy's chili is a hit.
Thank you for your reviews!! Definitely a place of potential despite the overpriced menu!

Their toasted Frontega chicken sandwich with a side of their grilled blueberry muffin
i love panera! lol but ever since i was little, i've loved high priced restaurants, diners & hospital cafeterias! lol i'm a foodie! lol
Grilled cheese and chilli is one of my favorite combos ever. ELITE

Have you ever seen or had the Wendy's chili in a can you can buy at the store? I'm curious if that tastes anything like the stuff you get at Wendy's.
That steak sandwich looks great! Haven't tried the new chili, but I miss the turkey chili they used to have.

The only reason I ever went to Panera and knew about it was for their bagels Asiago cheese and cinnamon crunch!!!
Once a year I'll go to Panera to remind myself how little food I get for the price.
I would love to hear your thoughts on Starbucks
Great video man the king never disappoints 👍👍👍👍👍
I mostly get bread and drinks at Panera.
Me and you really on the same page. Subway is my #1 hated chain and I always call panera hospital food 🤣🤣
Panera has never impressed me. I don't go there except for bread on rare occasions. ❤ Wendy's.
Their steak Sandwiches always was Elite and try their Kitchen Sink Cookie it’s amazing.
Is anyone else eating while watching this
Ahh .... that cranberry-orange cake needs some vanilla ice-cream to pair for a dessert!
I've only ever gotten their bread bowls with soup because both are pretty solid. Broccoli and cheddar or Chicken tortilla soup.
Let's do it...300K!!!! Tell yo buds!
Do you know if they plan to open a Culver’s in your area? Or maybe have you had Culver’s in your travels in the past?
Legend says that the meat in Wendys chili is the griddle scraped off and put into a meatless chili. But idk. Havent ordered that in 10 years probably.
I get the frontega chicken panini and I dip it in the broccoli cheddar soup 🤤🤤🤤
❤ the talk 😊
Do the starbucks sandwiches...would make for great content haha
bro drippin on the steering wheel hahah
There is a new Panera being built about 3 minutes from me. It should be opening in December.

$9 for "not gross" chili

Cheddar broccoli soup hits, I always get it when I’m sick too best soup I’ve event had haha

That grilled cheese looks awesome! I do like grilled cheese bread to be a little crispy, too. I love Wendy’s chili!
Starbucks turkey sausage and sage danish 🔥
I like Panera somewhat but I don't like the small portion sizes at the price they charge.
1. Why wouldn't the "southwest"-y chicken come with chili instead of the tomato soup?
2. Also, can I get the chili in a bread bowl?
Thanks for another great review. 😊 Curious about Starbucks but be warned they are so expensive!!!
Oh hey watching this while seeing if the Celtics can break the cavs streak…go cavs!
Kinda surprised that cranberry cake made it out of the test lab with how tart it sounds lol

I'm interested in your reaction to the Starbucks ham and cheese croissant!
i swear your face literally tells how the food is🤣 i was in teterboro at the walmart yesterday too
Starbucks cake pops are fire but I wouldn’t make a whole vid on just that lol

I hate Panera. Super expensive and its nothing I'd want to come back for.
Once they got rid of that Steak and White cheddar panini it was over for them. Nothing else on that menu remotely worth it
a starbucks video would be cool
