    I was super worried about trying this (not sure why) but the basics of it are legit. I didn't use the products she had, but I filled a small spray bottle with two shots of ACV, four shots of water and a tiny squirt of my fave sulfate free shampoo. Shook it up and lightly dampened my hair with it. I treated it the way she does in the video. I guess I was worries cuz I had a lot of product build up AND my scalp was flaking, OD. Like, grossly noticeable so maybe I thought I had to scrub a lot? But I did what she did, and used a makeup remover wipe to soak up the ACV after. I put my best staying gel on and lightly used my hand dryer after and even used some tea tree oil I had around for my rows. My hair looks great! It does not itch! And I'm glad I watched this video! Thank you 🥰

    I watched this like a week too late! I already didn't get a good wash at the salon and I know my scalp needs constant attention. I pretty much just wasted $160, but thanks for the post. I will use the technique in the future!

    Love the color and the braids. Never cleaned my hair that way with braids in. When I havr box braids, I wash them with shampoo which does cause a bit of frizz.

      I wouldn’t recommend swimming with cornrows.. get box braids or crochet so you can actually shampoo and get that chlorine/salt water out

    If you have product build up wont this add more product ? Also vinegar stinks how do you not wash it out

    • @DayeLaSoul
      @DayeLaSoul  4 роки тому

      This isn’t just vinegar in a bottle, it’s an actual product formulated with vinegar in so it doesn’t just smell like pure vinegar and I showed how to get the product off. Re-watch the video for that step you may have missed.
      And evidently it doesn’t add to build up being that the flaking was removed, as stated and shown from beginning to end. Go back and look at the difference.
      Also I’m pretty sure I explained how the products work to remove build up and clean off scalp, and I know I included the step where I wiped it off and you can see the dirt on the wipe-which would mean the build up transferred from the scalp to the wipe effectively so that should let you know right there.

    • @DayeLaSoul
      @DayeLaSoul  5 років тому

      Unless you have alopecia or an underlying health issue, edges grow naturally, ppl just break them off/pull them out. Figure out why they are falling out/not growing, stop whatever it is that’s breaking/pulling them and they’ll grow
