heyyyyy lovelies.... yes it would be easier to use a hole punch. Yes I have hole punches and no I didn't use them. I never think about these things when it is needed. I will make sure that I have a hole punch in front of me next time. Sometimes it is just easier to cut a hole than go downstairs and hunt for my hole punch. Lazy but true story haaaaaaaaa
I can so relate! I'm often in the middle of a project when I realise I need something but because I'm all masked and gloved up, it's just easier to improvise. I keep thinking, one day, I will be super organised but it's yet to happen.😂 0

Oh wow I love these foil inlays! These pendants turned out gorgeous! Right up my alley!! I might even have a look to see if I can use these inlays with my paper craft and journaling. They are so pretty! Love love love the pink witchy one my favourite. Beautiful lady!!

I understand the pain of unleveled homes. It is an easy fix. There are balance boards for resin. Or you can just buy 4 adjustable legs and put them on a board you already have. Amazon has both of them. I have both.😊
Good suggestion. Before they came out with the leveling boards for resin, I bought a couple of wooden covers meant for stovetiops. (For those of us with limited countertop space) the extra one I'm using for resin work. They came with srew leveling feet and are big.❤

Just a thought, Claire - I had issues with warped surfaces and a small budget - I bought a tempered glass office chair mat from Amazon, and a set of levelling furniture feet - attached them to the glass with super glue and now I have no issues with keeping a level surface for pouring - total investment was just under $100.00 - best money I have spent for resin working…..

These are gorgeous, Claire. Never tried foils, but I’ll have to one day. Alas, I am done with resin for the season. The end of this week will be the last of my resin projects.
The blue is my absolute favorite (but I might be biased because it's my favorite color) followed by the darker purple and the two black ones. I think holographic designs just look best on darker colors in general really. 😅👍

I love that the pendants are so nice and chunky. With the backing in various colours, and different foils, you could use several as bag-charms at once! Well, you might also need a big bag... 😁

I just bought my first foils but have not used them yet.
My fav is the pink but they are all so pretty. Everyone seems to really like the Let’s Resin but I have so much trouble with it being too thick and those dang micro bubbles. P.s. my old house is crooked too. Lol. I have a leveling table on my Christmas list 😁

You just need to level your table. I live in a house that's on a hillside, I had to level my work table with ice cream pop sticks.....It's a resin thing!!

I thought it was necessary to sand between layers; does it depend on what type of resin you’re using?
Could you do a jesmonite or resin crete base and uv resin for the top? To speed it up

Love these foils. Just ahi t, when I have to trim back an overpower, I give the trimmed bit a very quick sand so there are no sharp bits, then si ply give that piece only a very light coat of clear nail po.ish. Take da, gone

I searched on the Let’s Resin site and could not find the temperature that this resin can safely tolerate. Wondering if it is safe enough to use for a trivet with oven dishes. Do you know? Thank you!!
heyyyy Kathy ... I would not think it is hot enough for that xx I don't know of any resin that could take an item from the oven sadly :(
@@ClairesCraftyCorner Stonecoat Epoxy Art Resin will take up to 500°. I use the resin on trivets all the time.
@@ClairesCraftyCornerif you are in the US, Counter Culture DIY is heat resistant to 500 degrees F. KSResin is heat resistant to 450 degrees F. Good luck on your search.

Im new to resin. Havent tried it yet. Ive read constantly that you need breathing masks etc. Its put me off as i suffer with copd. Do u need a mask for your resin?
