Alright now, that's enough of that. I don't want the comment pages turning into a big argument over someone posting "first." To me, someone posting "first" is less annoying than people having to constantly respond with angry comments and / or downvote them over it. He did after all post more than just saying "first," he also declared his wishes that YT would stop flagging my vids. So let's all just calm down over this and let the subject drop, yes?
Something I've noticed - when Wind Man stops short, he seems to fly just high enough for you to slide under. When he flies high enough to walk under (or at least, it looks that way, I wouldn't advise trying it), he's going to go to the edge of the screen. I could be wrong, but that's the pattern I noticed when playing.
I don't get it. Why does wind man pull you towards him? Wind is suppose to blow not suck. Makes me wonder if him and air man needed to switch names or skill sets
I love the music in Wind Man's stage. I have seen some people say that Wind Man is just a copy of Air Man. They are nothing alike, aside from the fact that they are wind based Robots. The Wind Storm shares a lot of the same properties as Bubble Lead, but it is different. For instince, instead of just following a wall down into a hole, it will keep moving and possibly go over the hole if the next ledge is low enough. I find Wind Storm more useful than Bubble Lead. -Old School Video Game King-
not sure if you had noticed this, but Wind Man telegraphs his flight motion to indicate if he's stop short or not; when he flies lower to the ground he's going to land just in front of you.
Thing is, I've tried that, and when he flies lower, he still lands right on top of me for some reason. I think it's all supposed to be based on where you *were* when he started flying at you.
Yes, whenever I get something to record off of consoles, I will do MM9. Hopefully that will be soon. As for MM10, well.... that kind of has to be released before I can do anything at all with it.
Found another difference between bubble lead and wind storm. Lets say you are firing the items towards a cliff hoping to hit an enemy on a floating platform not touching a wall. The bubble lead comes out of the buster, reaches the cliff but does not fly off it. It instead hugs the ground and goes directly down with the contores of the cliff. The wind storm does the same except it flys off the cliff and if its momentum is strong enough it could go through the air reaching the floating bady
Did you know Windman and Knightman were the winners in a design contest held here in america? Nintendo Power did it in one issue when they were promoting Megaman 5
First time posting you Roahm...i am from Mexico but let me tell you, i love your megaman's perfects run, nice job...i am trying it also (your rules, only buster, no charging) but it is hard as hell...again, nice playthrough and keep it up!
You had Feel Good Inc. as the original perfect world tune for Wind Man? THAT IS AWESOME! :D Pity about the copyrights. You chose some really good perfect world tunes, only to have YT copyright shenanigans take them down again. :(
Bubble lead looks like a bubble, travels slightly slower, can only have 2 on the screen at once, can hit one enemy and sometimes 2 if it kills first one and still has strength after. Enemies killed by it can drop powerups Wind storm looks like a tornado, travels slightly faster, can have 3 on the screen, can only hit one enemy and said enemy will fly upwards off the screen like tornado blow if they are too weak. As such it is impossible for any powerup to be droped
geez, thanks for the luck, i really really need it xD anyway, nice you take time to post back, nice of you...btw, if you need any spanish help, you can ask anytime...just in case :D
You are welcome and yes I agree that they did better demo's in those games. Bubble lead can kill more than 2 if the second enemy is also really weak so it can due multiple ammounts of water damage to multiple enemies instead of just eventually tossing 1 guy off the screen
So I guess both weapons have there own versatility. Its just a battle of Bubble Lead Strength and Wind Storm Speed Search Snake, Ice Wave, Bubble Lead, Water Wave, and Plug Ball all hug grounds/walls. Water Wave can't go up walls or be fired in the air and only plug ball can go on cielings. Scorch Wheel and Wind Storm ride along the floor with momentum going air born temporily if they go off a cliff
Bubble lead is also fairly useful in MM2 on more than 1 wily boss, heat man, and various ground based enemies while wind storm is only good on 1 wily boss, and flame man. Its basically a battle of power and versatility in bubble lead vs the speed of the wind storm. And I would rather cause water damage than breathe on you quickly
I think where you are when Wind Man starts flying determines where he'll land. I'm still looking it over to make sure it's an accurate theory, but I think I have a pretty good idea that he might not have been stopping short, and that you merely moved out of the way as he started flying, and slid back to where he'd land.
Not only does the Wind Storm feel just like the bubble lead, it's pretty useless most of the game too. Though if Wind Man gave you the fan attack, would it probably feel like a wider Laser Trident or a Weaker Tengu Blade?
6:09 "I HATE those things!" This one is funny to me due to flash-backs to Foot Holders... XD Well, it could still be worse, Roahm, you could of had to go through the fortress stages for no damage like I did... The Cannopellars are EVERYWHERE in those! XD
It's basically just decoration. He's supposed to have been made in China (hence all the pandas in his stage), so I guess it's supposed to be like.... hm.... I'm really not sure how it's spelled, a qu? It's essentially a Chinese braid hairstyle.
Did you ever notice that those times where he stopped short was when he lifted himself into the air only a little? I guess he... [insert Shagg pun here]. Right, not good with puns. I don't suck, I blow. No wait, that's Airman. Jokes aside, I think he only stops short because his AI has him fall down when he flies across the screen, and a low flight can be hard to evade if you slide early. But hey, what do I know. I'm still trying to get through the stage myself. Blasted Cannopellars...
Because I thought I had posted the first. Apparently, I was beaten to it (another user posted while I was typing lol). Too bad for you if you don't like it. Get up earlier if you want to be the first.
It would, except Gyro Man, and hence, the Gyro Attack, happened in Megaman 5, and that was already a reskinned Magnet Missile, without the homing properties.
Well...I remember being able to make Gyro Attack move up and down in Megaman The Power Battle (kinda like Commando Bomb from 10 except you could only change directions once) so it *kinda* counts as homing (since the player is able to guide it in a direction). Then again, maybe a weapon like the fan attack instead of Wind Storm would cause lag...or be overpowered (I'm looking at *you*, Metal Blade)
Gyro Attack works the same way in 5, IMO the best weapon from that game. It would've been cool if the Wind Storm actually let Megaman just push enemies away from himself. Metal Blade was certainly overpowered, so much so that the Shadow Blade was a nerfed version of it.
One thing I always hated about this game (I like the game, but..) was the fact that they reused the same sound for nearly every robot master weapon (except centaur flash), and even the charged mega buster shot. I think that was just lazy. C'mon capcom, put a little effort into it.
This comment has made me laugh so hard, considering what you've done now. It's only a matter of time Roahm. THE CANNOPELLARS ARE WAITING. And they hunger. HUNGER FOR DRAGON ANGER.
Ah, okay, well thanks for clarifying then ;) It would be nice if they did better weapon demos in this one, rather than just having Mega Man shoot on an empty screen. I think MM&B and MMV did weapon demos the best.
@RoahmMythril Lol. well you sure slammed something on the ground. Or maybe it was you stomping your feet. I don't know, listen to it. That's the universal sound for gamers when they get pissed off ; )
Air man got a 8/10,, Wind man 5/10 and tornado man 3/10?? how? i think tornado man was one of the hardest air bosses in mega man series, he can be unpredicteble, his stage is quite annoying aswell sometimes, if i were u, i would atleast give him a 7/10, hes the hardest after plug man in MM9
Now, now, Roahm. Keep your facts straight. The fans and the Wind Storm don't suck. They blow.
I made the same joke XD
It's great to see friendship in videos. May friends never die.
Alright now, that's enough of that. I don't want the comment pages turning into a big argument over someone posting "first." Mega Man Maker's Wind Storm lets you use it to jump on, making it my favourite weapon in the series!
They really did buff some weapons to make them amazing like plant barrier star crash charge slide needle mans weapon and hard mans weapon
I don't get it. Why does wind man pull you towards him? Wind is suppose to blow not suck. Makes me wonder if him and air man needed to switch names or skill sets
Ahh, right. I do wish the weapon demos actually showed it being used on enemies to get more of an idea in things like that.
Thank you very much for commenting ;) I wish you luck in your attempts as well ;)

@RoahmMythril
I think all 4 of you should do commantery like Brain Scratch Conns where you all give commentary in the same video.
not sure if you had noticed this, but Wind Man telegraphs his flight motion to indicate if he's stop short or not; when he flies lower to the ground he's going to land just in front of you.

I'm lovin the Shagg-isms xD good job Roahm
You are so amusing, I'm not very fond of Megaman 6 but mymy you make the 6th game of the greatest series seem very fun and entertaining!
Yes, whenever I get something to record off of consoles, I will do MM9. Hopefully that will be soon. As for MM10, well.... that kind of has to be released before I can do anything at all with it.

I used the chorus part for the transition. "Windmill windmill for the land," etc.
I really don't know, each game has it's own memorable and not so memorable RMs, but really, I like them all to one degree or another.
Did you know Windman and Knightman were the winners in a design contest held here in america? Nintendo Power did it in one issue when they were promoting Megaman 5
there is one key difference. While bubble lead destroys, wind storm actually blows them upwards offscreen (like gravity hold).
First time posting you Roahm...i am from Mexico but let me tell you, i love your megaman's perfects run, nice job...i am trying it also (your rules, only buster, no charging) but it is hard as hell...again, nice playthrough and keep it up!

THAT IS AWESOME! :D
Pity about the copyrights. You chose some really good perfect world tunes, only to have YT copyright shenanigans take them down again. :(

That's because the evil power of birds were all contained in Mr X's 4th fortress stage, in this game anyway.
I agree with you, music wise. Very amazing music!
Bubble lead looks like a bubble, travels slightly slower, can only have 2 on the screen at once, can hit one enemy and sometimes 2 if it kills first one and still has strength after. Enemies killed by it can drop powerups
Wind storm looks like a tornado, travels slightly faster, can have 3 on the screen, can only hit one enemy and said enemy will fly upwards off the screen like tornado blow if they are too weak. As such it is impossible for any powerup to be droped
Ah, well thanks then ;) I didn't mind 6 all that much, if nothing else, it had some of my favorite music.
@RoahmMythril Quickman vs Needleman vs Brightman vs Slashman vs Aquaman vs You. What's your thought and what's your though if you're not included?
geez, thanks for the luck, i really really need it xD anyway, nice you take time to post back, nice of you...btw, if you need any spanish help, you can ask anytime...just in case :D
I'm not quite sure what you mean?
You are welcome and yes I agree that they did better demo's in those games.
Bubble lead can kill more than 2 if the second enemy is also really weak so it can due multiple ammounts of water damage to multiple enemies instead of just eventually tossing 1 guy off the screen
Wind Man and Air Man facing each other. Those air tornadoes would be going *fast*!
It was fun trying to plan those out X)
So I guess both weapons have there own versatility. Its just a battle of Bubble Lead Strength and Wind Storm Speed
Search Snake, Ice Wave, Bubble Lead, Water Wave, and Plug Ball all hug grounds/walls. Water Wave can't go up walls or be fired in the air and only plug ball can go on cielings.

5:35
okay who came along and said
"u no what wind man needs? 2 large circles near his chest that look like boobs?"
Ugh... I am fearful if I ever do more Wily stages... ^_^;
Yes, the main four of us are Kit, Shagg, Pink, and myself.
3:10 dragon introduces people to animal abuse (200X AD, colorized)
Air Man, evolved.
I think where you are when Wind Man starts flying determines where he'll land. I'm still looking it over to make sure it's an accurate theory, but I think I have a pretty good idea that he might not have been stopping short, and that you merely moved out of the way as he started flying, and slid back to where he'd land.
Something commonly said by Shagg in his videos.
Not only does the Wind Storm feel just like the bubble lead, it's pretty useless most of the game too.
Though if Wind Man gave you the fan attack, would it probably feel like a wider Laser Trident or a Weaker Tengu Blade?
Now Imagine a Cannonpeller that you have to stand on as a platform. Footcannons?
The fans and wind storm don't suck! They blow! *ding for terrible Shagg-like pun*
Ah yes, I remember seeing that.
@RoahmMythril
also Airman ga taosenai
@masterminded78 I feel like you forgot to throw in a big eye or two into that nightmare line up lol
"They invented perpetual motion" I Roared!
do the stats of the bosses effect anything?
Sorry for the double comments. I'm on an iPod, not the best thing to use when commenting on UA-cam. ^^;
@KurtKokaine1 Because cake is easy to eat! XD
It's like trying to understand "piece of cake", let's just leave it at that.
6:09 "I HATE those things!"
This one is funny to me due to flash-backs to Foot Holders... XD Well, it could still be worse, Roahm, you could of had to go through the fortress stages for no damage like I did... The Cannopellars are EVERYWHERE in those! XD

Wind Man is my favorite Robot Master
Those Shaggisms are so cheesy they're awesome.
XD
My favorite is Rush Jet from MM3. My least favorite is Rush Coil from MM5.
Ah, my favorite weapon is Jewel Satellite. It's probably the most useful of all shield type weapons.
Vicious headbonk! *buzz*
If you ever do Wily stages again....I want it to be either this one or MM7 version. : )
dude just look at wind mans height when he is flying. if he flies low he will stop short.
wind man was toad man tier for me, the first time I fought him (recently) I didn't take any damage.
Air Man vs. Wind Man vs. Tornado Man! Thoughts, Roahm?
I never understood this phrase: what exactly is a "cakewalk"?
@arthurarneiro well duh, everyone knows that. I mean what does a "cakewalk" have to do with something that is easy?
Did you ever notice that those times where he stopped short was when he lifted himself into the air only a little? I guess he... [insert Shagg pun here]. Right, not good with puns. I don't suck, I blow. No wait, that's Airman.

Haha, did you slam your controller on the ground in the Wind Man fight outtake? It sure sounded like it. I cracked up when I heard that XD.
@RoahmMythril
Wait there's 4 of you in your group? Every ciricle you did I had a ? over my head.
Yes, the Shaggisms thing, I had to try it X) And yes, Cannopellerns must die. Evil, evil things.
What the hell is that thing coming out of Wind Man's head?
wind man's power is like Heat Man's power. Atomic Fire Flame Man uses and Fire Storm is what Heat Man uses..... go figure!
Yes, panda sniping usually goes fairly smoothly X)
@brnleague99
you forgot Tenguman
Because I thought I had posted the first. Apparently, I was beaten to it (another user posted while I was typing lol).
Too bad for you if you don't like it. Get up earlier if you want to be the first.
Is your Totodile named Bubblin' or Bubblun, as if it is Bubblun... Nice Bubble Bobble reference!
Roahm You should perfect run a pokemon game! or do some sort of rules based run through any ways.
Ahh, I see. It would be nice if MM6 actually demonstrated what the weapons did to enemies, rather than just using them on nothing.
Fun fact Roahm! Did you know that Pandita is Spanish for "little panda?"
Probably Air Man, he can get out more attacks faster than the others.
No, Roahm, they don't suck. They blow. :3
I kinda wish Windman gave the fan attack he uses instead of Tornado Lead (That's what I call the Wind Storm).
That would be much more interesting!
It would, except Gyro Man, and hence, the Gyro Attack, happened in Megaman 5, and that was already a reskinned Magnet Missile, without the homing properties.

Well Charge Man never uses the Charge Kick.
1st Post! Yay? I wish YT were nicer to you. lol
groooaaan if Shagg ever rewatched this now we would all have a good groanlaugh (as Shagg has kinda admitted themself)
Ah, okay, well thanks for clarifying then ;) It would be nice if they did better weapon demos in this one, rather than just having Mega Man shoot on an empty screen. I think MM&B and MMV did weapon demos the best.
To be fair, Wind Storm carries away enemies and projectiles when it defeats them, so it's like bubble lead + gravity hold. Still unoriginal.
Oh, wow. Apparently Wind Man has Gyro Blade.
But, Roahm, tornado storm takes out shielded mets.
You Get:
Not Bubble Lead
@RoahmMythril Lol. well you sure slammed something on the ground. Or maybe it was you stomping your feet. I don't know, listen to it. That's the universal sound for gamers when they get pissed off ; )
i don't get why the caterpillars are called caterpillars
carlos perez *sighs*
@KurtKokaine1 Something that's really easy.
Umm...don't you mean, "The Secret Art of Pandeeta Sniping"...???
Eh, it is what it is.
i dont know why but i usually call wind man VEGETTA O
Well, I used a keyboard, so that would have been bad XD
No offense taken, I tend to agree ;)
Air man got a 8/10,, Wind man 5/10 and tornado man 3/10?? how? i think tornado man was one of the hardest air bosses in mega man series, he can be unpredicteble, his stage is quite annoying aswell sometimes, if i were u, i would atleast give him a 7/10, hes the hardest after plug man in MM9
as least they're not harrasing you every minute :l now that would suck
lmao 2:51
