That might be the most badass yacht I’ve ever seen.
I think Scout is a Masterpiece in the yachting world of Explorer Yachts.
Came here looking at expedition yachts and heard one of my all time favorite songs. Lorn - Anvil
That's one beautiful Yacht
Scout has been very complex to build, before she was launched she changed owner 3 times, first an American owner that got into trouble. Then a Russian billionaire that got involved in the Rubel crisis, and then the current owner. By that time she had been in the shed for almost 3 Years and was modified time after time.
The craftsmen worked for 6 cold Months after the launch outside during the Winter season to finish her. She is a real testemony of energy, craftsmanship and pure Hakvoort passion building a quality boat that goes beyond normal specs, she is now the Hakvoort Fleet flagship and the story continues. Thanks to this boat the Shipyard is still in business today with a 6-8 year order package to build 3 boats.

I've sailed on the North Sea many times when i was in the Navy.I've never seen it that calm.

She’s parked the last week in a couple of days, Stonesthrow, where I live in Dublin. I walk by her every morning beautiful

The Boat on the port bow main deck is the Captains personal boat, custom made. It will not be part of Scouts tender fleet but it is taking a piggybag ride to the U.S and will be carried on that position when the Captain is on board.

I lived on the North Sea (northern Germany) for nearly 20 years, when the fuck did you film this, it’s never that calm
good luck sitting on the very top deck just below the radar, I believe they have to be turned off in marinas for health reasons, so i would not fancy sitting a few feet under it. :)
Anybody know why this would be in Buffalo, NY?
Not sure, but probably the owners enjoy spending time there.

Trust me, when Neptune gets angry, he takes it out on the North Sea, do not be fooled by the calm you see here, he has a foul temper sometimes.

It certainly wouldn't be $500M USD, even 500M CNY ($78M USD at time of posting) would be a bit steep. To your point though, it's still very expensive! I just disagree with the ballpark is all.
