They honestly deserved so much more recognition from this comeback and possibly their first win. But people thought it was weird for them to have a switch up in terms of aesthetic. But they did so good and it was performed so well. Hopefully with their next comeback they’ll be able to gain more success and more recognition
I feel this song kind of slipped under most people's radar just because it was a more traditional bright and poppy song instead of the quirky and somewhat creepy and mysterious songs we've heard from them before.
I kind of skimmed over it when It first came out but I saw them live a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved this song (along with everything else). Now it’s one of my favorites.
Idk about y'all but this comeback reminds me of Loona's Flip That comeback. they are both a fast comeback after Queendom, both a summer release claching completly with their previous release, and both an easy going song tht is SOOOOO pleasing to listen (not to talk about the last white dress scene) Post Queendom Puzzle releases brings me back to the summer following Queendom 2, feels so nostalgic Really love 7heaven, like Boom and Seoul (Such a beautiful city)
THANK YOU you explained this comeback and the video so well. I know it’s not everyone’s favorite and it was unexpectedly “normal gg concept” from them, but I really adore this song and they pulled it off leagues better than I could have ever expected them to. I think the best part of stanning purple kiss is that they’ll always release the most vocally flavorful, well-produced song, no matter what style or concept. They’ve proven they can do it all, and I’ll keep looking forward to new music from them ☺️💜
this is just a single album so only 2 b-sides on it, but the sweet juice album is a full EP and you have to check it out, some real songs of the year on there man
i really wish more people checked out this release! i get that it was a jarring change from sweet juice, which brought them a lot of success, but i am SO addicted to this song its crazy
watching both reactions in a row I'm now thinking it's nice that 7HEAVEN is a follow up for Sweet Juice, because Sweet Juice was about them breaking free from being locked to be able to party, so now they're partying! I do hope they go back to darker concepts but this is like a nice summery break
As someone who really, really loves Purple Kiss' identity as a cute horror/dark concept group, this one took me some time. I can and do recognize how great the song is, but for me, this kind of song and groups that mostly do these songs have never been as much my jam. That said, they perform it really well and I understand that not every single comeback from a group is going to please me personally or fit directly into the original group concept perfectly. I was also a bit disappointed in how short the album was as a whole. This song was really really nice live though (I got to see them!! yaaaaay!!) and I see why they wanted something a little different given Yuki's success in Queendom Puzzle and the potential for reeling in new fans via the tour. Still, I hope we're back to our spooky roots and longer album length for the next comeback, whenever that may be. :3
This wasn’t my favorite comeback, just cause I do prefer their darker concepts, but it’s really grown on me. I think since this wasn’t a full mini album and Yuki was in/won Queendom Puzzle, they used it as a good time to release a brighter concept. As much as we love their dark concepts, it can be kind of a divisive concept in K-pop. So I really feel like this was their attempt to reach a larger audience that has been sleeping on their talent because they weren’t intrigued by their normal comebacks enough to see the rest of their discography. Cause they really do have music for every fan to enjoy, but you may not guess that just from looking at their title tracks. I think with so many new eyes on them from Queendom Puzzle, it was a smart move to release a song that most K-pop fans would like. Having said that, they released this at the end of summer so I don’t think it had as great of an impact as it could have if they realized it earlier in the season. But it’s stills a great, fun song. And it made it to my playlist, like all the rest. 😂
underrated song for sure, summer bop! that song is on my honorable mentions of 2023, with Heejin solo, OEC - Air force one, Aespa - Better thing and Kiss of Life - Bad news.
I really wish their crew handles their discography better and stick to the sound that suits them best which are spooky pop like Zombie and Nerdy, or actually spooky like Sweet Juice and Ponzona.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with their discography. Everything they do, they do it good. Their music is on par with every other big girl group of the 4th gen, i even enjoy their music more then the music of these other big girl groups that are out there winning music show wins and stuff.

I think it's because of how Sweet Juice sort of underperformed compared to like...Zombie or Nerdy.
@@hyejinmoon4882Sweet Juice was so good, one of the best releases of 2023. Wish people gave groups outside of the Big 4 a chance.
Purple Kiss is one of the most underrated group. PERIOD

They really went, "here you go, we'll do it once, there's absolutely nothing you get to complain about" song wise
