- As requested here are the two Beauty Hag hair tutorial rolled in to one on YT. Easier to watch and dip in and out of on here.
In this video @joljones and I chat all things hair from the ongoing nervousness around having healthy hair to the products we are loving for our hair right now. @@christinemurphy9709 I watch on my computer. It used to be fine, but recently I think they started to film for TicToc or Instagram and the video format appear to be a narrow rectangle even in UA-cam.
Put the front roller in the opposite way tight, so that the hair is rolled back. When you take it out trust me, that kink will be less noticeable, and it will still flip to the side as you wish. Trust me I was doing it your way for years, and a hairdresser pointed out that was my error-and she was right. You both are so funny!!
This has cheered me up. I also haven’t been finding the videos on UA-cam for ages. I’ll be getting my rollers out

I'm so glad you put these on UA-cam, Nadine. I can't ever find these on Instagram. I wish they would change the platform to make them easier to find. I really want to try that shampoo and the hair oil sounds nice too. Love the two of you together as always
My mum had carmen rollers with pins and did exactly the same technique.

When I was little (I’m 70 now), my oldest sister used to put her hair in rollers in bed and in the dark with no mirror
I've been thinking about getting heated rollers for ages, always loved how it looked when i used velcro rollers but they are such a faff to set properly and take ages. Although my hair is extremely long so it would look very different from Jo's!!

I lost my hair 4 years ago because of low ferritin levels, it grew back when I took Optifer (heme iron ), normal iron tablets didn’t do a thing.

I am 58 and my hair is falling out in massive clumps I don’t know how to stop it . I have tried Regaine to no effect.
High protein diet, marine collagen and ashwaganda.
I have been raving àbout new wash for years. Brilliant. It is NOT conditioner.. its like a dry cleaner for hair (that you rinse out) It is a shampoo not needing a conditioner.
I use my Babyliss rollers all the time. They definitely help keep my style for a long time. I use the metal clips to avoid creases. Nadine, your bangs (fringe) are not right for your hair type as you are constantly touching them and trying to rearrange them. Perhaps a new style would work better for your hair type.
That ten seconds when you flipped your hair up and around and it parted randomly on the side instead of middle... I LOVED IT.

That hairstory studio co wash is just a conditioner as you pointed out Nadine. Even Curly girls tread carefully with co-wash now. The hipster marketing is particularly nauseating and it is ludicrously overpriced for aloe vera, fatty acids, plant oils and essential oils. For healthy hair keeping follicles clean makes a huge difference. But then what would my trichologist know about hair… 😋😉
