That was too much fun!! Marty is wonderful whenever he takes the stage!
This is 90's country Heaven, and it just doesn't get much better than this! So much talent on the same stage. I've always loved hearing the Mavericks' do unique versions of classic country standards, and I especially loved their take on "Your Cheatin' Heart." Raul and Trisha's voices are simply perfect for each other, and Marty's unique guitar playing style really adds to it. And to top it all off, you can tell they're all having so much fun together! Man, I really miss these times.
You mean 1950's Country Heaven? Or you mean what they were doing in the 90's, of the 50's?
@@dans8927 Meant it an in two of my favorite country artists (Trisha and the Mavs) in the mid 90s collaborating and covering these great 50's classics. You don't see much of that today, at least not in mainstream country. Still love both of these artists today!
@@jscountrygirl85_326 Ahhh, gotcha

The Mavericks are a terrific band, and here they are working with the best material, and doing it justice
Love the mavericks awesome voice❤
I remember Your Cheating Heart blaring out of My Dads Garage,l was a young kid and l loved that Song.
Marty Stuart is waaaay underappreciated by many as a great guitarist.
Absolutely!!! Thanks for saying what's been in my mind for a long time.
Plays a mean Mandolin too
I recently apologized for being so late in realizing what a fine musician Marty is
@@guermeisterdoodlebug7980 same as
TRUE. my vote for someone of today would be Brad Paisley

I agree. I've only just discovered The Mavericks....and Trisha Yearwood. Absolutely stunning.
Blow'n away by these two voices in sync with each other. Can't believe Trish was ever married to Robert Reynolds...

Hello 👋 Maria
@@davechris2095ciao Dave!🙋😊💘🌅
Marty Stuart one of the true country artists left 💕💕💕
Hey Rosemary I agree with you 100% and I for one 1⃣ am glad he's out touring with a new band introducing a whole new generation to some of his and other classic country stars's music ,and I'm hoping that he'll be with us for quite a few years yet and I'm thinking I'm not the only Marty Stewart fan who feels that way 😊😅😮😂❤😂😊

😢🎉😅😅😊
Not only that, he is the most considerate man in show business.
Oh My! This is awesome - both the band AND the vocals! ♡♡
Gotta stop reading the comments. Everyone is underrated. Always. Every country video, especially the older ones. They are millionaire superstars but somehow underrated.
Crank it up in here
I've had a blast
It's been my pleasure
⚔️💚💚⚔️💖💖⚔️💙💙⚔️
They killed cheatin heart. Simply owned it.
A lot of states brag about their country music singers but Florida is among the best
Trisha, love your voice. Thank you for showing that it's Beautiful to have a REAL women's figure!
Hello Sharon
She's a doll, I agree.
What does the way she look have anything to do with the way she sings you should be ashamed of yourself
Is that Trisha Yearwood
@@kenwhite510 , Clearly punctuation is new to you. Sharon posted two sentences. They are separate thoughts.
Why did you feebly attempt to merge them?
Fantastic performance of Cheatin' Heart!
Yes Sir it sure was !
Love this- got it on loop.... love the informality on that stage - and they nail it...
He was then and remains the best vocalist in America
Certainly understated. Much better than many vocalists.
They sound wonderful together- with Marty accompanying. Pretty special.
Back when Tricia was with the bassplayer.
Early Mavericks and as brilliant as always. Some studly guitar playing by Marty Stuart
Marty Stewart has a touch of the same swagger as George Thoroughgood.
Let's give Robert Earl some love for rocking that bass❤️
Love watching this video it was great

Have you been to San Diego California before?
More talent than any one stage should have!
Soooo smooth...
Wow! Marty is so frigg’n talented. Trisha’s voice sounds amazing too. Great performance. I don’t condone drinking and guitar playing but as long as they stay in key, I guess it’s ok.🤔🤗
Marty is an alcoholic I believe
Marty is the ""old Billy Strings"
The first time I've ever heard you was in Rochester Minnesota at the street dance probably back in 8790 definitely more information loved

Awesome job Trisha and way to play that guitar Marty. But when Raul adds his voice to Tricia’s , it is pure magic. I so love this band.

Wow, just found this. Wonderful!
Is that really Trisha Yearwood up there ??
Looks like h r
Absolutely
Trisha was married to Robert at the time. Now married to Garth. My brother and I met her back then. The absolute nicest young woman in the world. 🎉
I saw her sing Over the Rainbow a capella. Judy is the standard, but Trisha's version was super.
@@RobertStanco I like that version of your cheating heart
Where have I been? Classic!
Dam good song and Dam good song and music!!!
Hey how are you doing?
Y'all blowing it away
Super !!!! Merci beaucoup !
Yeah I'm not sure who the two female singers are but their doing a harmony version of this Hank Sr classic was pretty much spot on and when the whole band came in they all contributed equally without anyone trying to over power the rest, and this video pretty much confirms my opinion that the Mavericks are one 1⃣ of the best country music cover bands happening these days, cause they're able to bring back pleasant memories for those of us (I'll be 73years old on July 15th , 2023) who were raised on the now classic Country music of Hank Sr and others and I for one 1⃣ later became a big time fan of the country outlaws Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Hagard , Johnny Cash,Kris Kristopherson , who became the Highwaymen and won over who knows how many new fans to Country music as the Southern Rock explosion that took over from the British invasion was winding down having brought us the Marshall Tucker band, Charlie Daniels band, and others who were absorbed into the Country music world and also introduced the winter Brothers the Allman brothers, and the Doobie brothers, who al introduced the world to the world the variety of Southern Rock, from the hard rockin blues of South Texas from Stevie Ray Vaughn to ZZTOP, and others and the one common thing that has happened is cover bands playing classic music of most every genre of music up to fairly recent and even new hits across the spectrum of music , and from what I've seen and heard most bands and solo performers ar are buying into the old saying that applies to music, sports of all kinds, and probably elsewhere , which is imitation is the purest form of praise and I'm thinking that, that thinking and the passing down of videos and recordings of music stars in whatever musical genre is popular at most any time is what will keep music in general alive as long as each generation shares their love of music with the generation coming up behind them and it would be nice to think that kind of thinking and doing could be transferred into taking care of the problems that are world wide, which I won't even begin to try to name cause that's a completely different subject for discussion that has little or nothing to do with music, so I'm going to back out of here and let y'all talk music, world wide problems, or whatever interests yall, bye for now, and have a good one 😊😅😮😂❤😂😊❤
I love the good old country music. GREAT PERFORMANCE BY ALL!😊👍👍
@@virginiabrown2367 hey, Virginiabrown I won't ask your age, or what you call old Country music but I was born in the mid 50s and was raised on old school country like Hank Williams Sr ferlin husky , and fairly young Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristopherson, long before their "Outlaws" and"Highwaymen" days, all of which means I've been listening to Country music for pretty much all of my almost 73years (on July 15th of this year, 2023) and God willing I'll keep listening to Country music on into August and beyond and I'm sort of hoping that you have a long life as a Country music fan, too
I definitely was raised on country music, Jeff. My Mother's family was very talented. My Mother played the piano and they always played old country music. My all time favourite country and western singer is Alan Jackson.
My favourite duo is Brooks and Dunn. Their are so many entertainers I have enjoyed over many years. I am also a linedancer and play the ukuele. I could't live without music. You do have me smiling. Guess what? I am the same age has you Jeff.
