    Case #4. No matter what, he is still on house arrest as a courtesy of the court. If the tether isn't working and he still does nothing, the court can still say "This house arrest isn't working". Take him in.

    Just a note-how special that the judge calls the last fella's mother to make sure she understands fully what 24 hour house arrest means and if indeed she is ok with that. And after hearing the affirmative, Judge Fleischer makes sure the fella understands any other violation, then he would be staying with him (the judge) for 24 hour arrest. Plus he is to go get his tether checked out to be able to account for those 6 hours from the day before.

    I would like to know the follow-up to the last defendant's case. His story doesn't add up, seems deceitful, and is an attempt to cover something else up. I doubt that anything was wrong with his device. He went out to have some fun somewhere, doing something.

    While I was watching case number 2, I was literally thinking if there was any time that there would be no probable cause found. Those cases have to be pretty rare.

      @@annamarielewis7078 I disagree on two counts. One, there was genuinely zero evidence it was hers. She was a passenger in someone else's car. The second count is that it's not exactly the hard stuff, and not in the quantities that would imply any dealing was going on. Worst case, it's for personal use. The only reason it's even criminalised in the first place is because they needed another demon to fight - there's zero scientific evidence it does any real harm. Not even as a 'gateway' to the harder stuff.

    This Judge is what America needs in this moment we live in....yes he can be harsh but he PROTECTS the people OF AMERICA and this is a breath of fresh air for all of us as he will start a new repeat offender scenario in a way that they will no longer get out so easy....God Bless this Judge and i hope the others take notice!

    As someone that has had an ankle monitor on for 6 months I can say that his story isn't totally unbelievable. There's no excuse for not charging it because beeps as loud as a smoke detector that needs a battery change so you can't miss it. As it to it just not reporting where you are or saying you are in a completely different place then you currently are I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a defect of some sort.

    How anyone thinks Judge Fleischer isn’t fair is beyond me. He really looks at the what the cops have. I have seen several body cam videos where they arrest someone that just simply has illegal substance under their seat. Nothing else. Not their car. I thought it was crazy and a massive police overreach.
    At least judge gets it. Go judge fleischer!

    I got a felony theft in 2014 when I was using. It has made life difficult, and I’ve had to work hard to have anything good in life. I learned my lesson. How can he pick up that many theft charges? Almost no one wants to hire a thief. I’m clean now, but there are consequences to actions and I have to live with that. But with hard work you can prosper. But still, this guy going to have it rough.

      How would anybody know if it was hers? There was no evidence. The driver could have put it there and she very well could have not even known it existed. I don't know how people are calling BS on this one. It could've been hers but there's no evidence placing it as hers. That's what *probable cause* means.

      I’m not an attorney, but my understanding is they could then switch to charging him or just let the charge die. It probably would be a bit of a hill to climb for prosecution to then charge the driver though.
