    Seems like all they needed to do was design it with the power button always on and remove the button, why would you want a lower cutting power in the first place when you can always have it "on"?

      I mentioned the reason in the article on my website but I guess I didn’t really touch on that in this video. It’s mainly because with the power button pressed, the cutters don’t open as wide. They are closer to the width of bolt cutters rather than a pair of dikes. That’s why it’s nice to be able to switch between the two.

      For regular use the smaller opening would be a real pain. Not for a home owner but for a professional electrician
