Kind if a shame to waste a cool old crew cab like that, would be awesome to build as a racecar hauler with a bunk house, the service boxes and a mobile workshop space in the back. Tow a car hauler with flip up sides and a lift. Just swap like a DT466, 6BT or 8.3L 6CT Cummins, Cat C7 or old Ford Turbo Diesel like a 7.7L I6 or Navistar 7.3L Turbo. Maybe a 8.8L PSI on CNG. ZF or NV 5 or 6 speed manual. Bet you would never see an F700 Crew Cab ever again in any sort of shape.
@@RoyceAubuchon well basically this is actually a remake of trucks maximum overdrive didn’t actually had a book it was based on the book trucks in 1975 by Stephen king
Trucks was not a book, it was a short story. Maximum overdrive was Kings’ first adaptation of that story. The TV movie trucks was a little more faithful to the story. So ultimately, yes, it’s just a remake.
@@Imthecomedyguy there is no book Maximum Overdrive, there is no book Trucks. King wrote Trucks which is a short story, is in a book called Night Shift, which is a collection of Kings’ short stories… I am writing a book now called Maximum Technicality (the art of Anal retentiveness), 😝😝😝

Yeah, why even bother refueling them? Also, when they stopped at the pumps, I'm sure there are plenty of things you can cram in the fuel tank that at worst could gum up the fuel lines, and at best would destroy the engine... Sand, sugar, water, something... Like when the trucks stopped by the fuel pumps, the human protagonists practically had them by the balls! In order for a good 90% (give or take) of horror movies to work, the protagonists need to be a few IQ points shy of literally brain-dead.
@@ThatWolfWithShades Ok, so the trucks figure it out. You keep them busy until they quit running. Also, they could have pulled the valve stems out of the tires while the trucks were stopped at the pumps too. Hell, they could have just...not...filled the trucks with anything and let their tanks run dry! Like, there is zero reason the human protagonists needed to do anything the trucks "asked."

make trucks (1997) but it's only when the blue gmc truck is on screen/only when the red ford truck is on screen
so they stopped for gas and not hurting them, and then they start trying to kill them again?

IIIRC they filled the diesels with gas so the fuel pumps would seize and the engines choke out but it was taking too long/the trucks figured out.
