Amazing, it's great to see a pad lap, like me a lot of players can't afford a wheel set up, I'm a D class driver but love this game, many thanks for your help.
Get a wheel
I struggle since i got the wheel and dropped from mid a to low b. Pad is not the issue if you are at D.
@@michaelthieme173 I am happy in D class I'm 64 old grandad, it's not just the price but also a place/room to set up you, don't have to be a very fast driver to enjoy this game.

Yeah pad driver here too. It's completely doable on a pad although you do have to use tricks to get some cars to turn well as the steering is slower than on a wheel. Good luck and keep practising!

I may have a small love affair with the various Silvia's but the S14 is my favorite. Just wish they had done this on SM or SS tires instead

It was frustrating indeed, I couldn't decide on 3rd or 4th for some of the lap and 2nd or 3rd for T2, turns out I did T2 just as you said, 2nd gear for rotation, I dabbled with both ABS default and weak, Default is more stable for T1 if you want to use 3rd gear, I'm still .500 off my optimum which takes me into 45s but I got pissed off and left it 😂 I think it's the CS soft tyres that ruined this car.
Great vid as always mate, after studying this video i got a 45.8 optimum lap says 45.2 but i can't hook up all the lap in one go . Cheers tidgney

Struggled so much to control this car's low aero oversteer. Barely sneaked it at .050 from the current gold.
Something tells me I'm up for a re-do in the next week, as the time goes down

Wow so I was able to get silver the other day and today when I went back all the qualifying times were changed and my time no longer qualified for silver , only bronze , pretty annoying that they would switch the times around , I spent good time getting silver now my im at bronze , makes me want to smash my console fr
If P1 gets better, then naturally the times required for gold, silver, and bronze improve too. Nothing to do with time supposedly switching around. It's all based on the time of P1 which medal you'll get.
Yes, times are based on P1, so the quicker they go the lower the other times go as it's based on a %. So you'll find longer tracks should (In theory) be easier to get in the higher brackets.

I can not make gold the car is weird
The newest time trial in the Porche at Nurburgring is impossible for Gold, I went to the offline time trial and could only get Gold if the car was tuned, idk how but people gotta be cheating
I did 1.46.9 i hope it’s enough for gold
If other Driver don't push the Gold-Time too much down 😒, it'll be Gold.
same here that one as a bit of torture :D but i have to come back and try lower below 1.46.920 as it its too close to current gold time they wont move it much down but certainly is room for slightly going down so better be safe.
I'm sorry to say this Tidge but calling this medium is waaay off the truth. With the previous mediums and hards I had way less trouble than this. This time trial seriously getting on my nerves
The trick for we was figuring out how to “chuck” the car. Watch carefully to see where he lets off the brake. Try and match that and then aggressively turn the wheel once you release the brake.
@@yledbetter10rob42 Thanks for the reply, but it's too late now. I tried to copy paste what I saw on video, but due to the limited amount of time I was able to game recently, had no chance of reaching a consistency of what I could've improved upon :/
As I've always said with the difficulty it's an opinion and it can vary from person to person. I have a few markers that indicate difficulty, and in this one I put this on medium for me.
You seem like a nice bloke, but this guide is severely lacking. Of course you are very good but the information is not nearly enough.
What ABS settings do you use? What is the peak brake pressure on turns? Does traction control hinders lap time? How do you manage understeer in this car? What are your references to get on throttle after turns?
What you say is not helpful, because you are an expert and there is a million things you do that you take for granted that regular player might struggle with. I had to resort to put the video on mute because is much better to analyze what you actually do instead of being distracted by the useless information that you talk about.
Yikes. This guide got me to gold (and this is one of many I’ve watched and have benefited from). I didn’t find it that difficult to follow. He literally gives you the most important info which is to break in a straight line and then turn. As long as you do that at the braking points he shows, you’ll get there. He also said ABS was weak but tbf it may have been during the pad lap portion far into the video.
Thanks for the feedback, but in this situation I have to disagree with you quite substantially. Let me explain;
1) ABS I state in the video
2) Peak Brake Pressure will make no difference to you if you are very far off... if you are close then you will understand it anyway. On top of that, as each lap varies this value will vary EVERY single lap.
3) Traction Control has been discussed 1,000s of times on this channel and others. I show you the laps with the best settings, any other settings will slow you down.
4) Managing the Car is discussed in the Guide
5) Accelerating markers are referenced where they exist.
6) What i say has been helpful to 1,000's of players, the information you have requested would not help anyone any further other than the elite (Who can already figure that out themselves). If the video is not right for you then I'd advise going to find other content.
Got a 45.4 with the controller as well (only .029 behind you).
