I'm really enjoying these videos. The west coast of America is as alien to me as China so it's all interesting. Wish I was travelling with you guys, but these videos are the next best thing. 😊
Hi, new subscribers here! can you also include the food locations you visited in the description in your videos so we can check them out when we visit?
Thanks for exposing me to uyger food! Before this I thought Chinese food was just noodles and dumplings. As a Muslim I also appreciate another source of halal to tell my friends about. As far as the alcohol is concerned, Muslims are prohibited from drinking and serving alcohol but I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you brought your own. BYOB could be fun in that situation! Make a game of pretend hiding it from the staff as you pass it around under the table. That's what we did as teenagers 😉!
The real reason why WEST media falsely accuses CHINA of mistreating Uyghur Muslims is because they want to prevent the 1.6 Billion Chinese worldwide and 2.0 Billion Muslims from working together. Both these groups have been discriminated by USA and the WEST for decades and are more likely to work together. Chinese & Muslim nations working together will lead to US losing its dominance of the world. Plus this will gain Asia, Russia and African support too including the rest of the world.
I ordered the same dishes that Winston and Matt did and I can say that the food was even better IMO than this video made it out to be... I ordered the small plates and it fed 2 people easily. I'm scared to see their large portion sizes!! It's probably a 2.5 to 3 $$$ range but you can look at their menu online by searching for them using either google Maps or Yelp. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED AND WILL BE GOING BACK AGAIN SOON. LOOK FOR MY REVIEW ON YELP ONCE I GET THE TIME TO POST ONE.
I searched for *Uyghur food* in Google maps and found 12 restaurants in my city 2 of them I walked by many times but never noticed! my next restaurant visit will be in one of them, awesome video
I went there today - and it was fantastic. Of the 4 people in our party 3 had never had Uygur cuisine before(the one who had is from China) and all of us loved it. Great work in showing this place off. If you're in the bay, make your way out there. You won't be disappointed.
I live in England, and before your videos did not know too much about the Chinese culture! Thanks to you both for sharing your experiences whilst living in China! Definitely broadened my mind and given me lots of entertainment
Uyghur is pretty unique because it's west china, but of a distinct ethnic group within that region. I haven't heard of it until I tried their food for the first time last month. I even shot a video of my experience there on my channel if you wanna see it!
You guys simply fascinate me. I have zero desire to visit China or many places to be honest but watching your videos is like sitting down with my close friends and talking about nothing and everything all at the same time. Keep it up! From an avid fan.
Everyone's saying that this deserves to be on TV, but I think this series is way too good for TV! This doesn't belong on old-media... This belongs on the Internet! (If it wasn't for the money you'd make from it being on TV of course, haha). Anyways, keep up the super high quality content. Stay Awesome! Also, you guys should do "The quest for the best Chinese in the West coast of Canada" next!
I have a feeling they are making pretty good money from UA-cam and they are able to retain editorial control to a greater degree than if they were on TV.
My family and I traveled from Utah for my birthday, we had a dinner party there with friends, eating all the same items as you guys. All was very authentic and great taste, I lived in Urumqi, XinJiang for 2 years. The lamb was great tasting, very little fat in it and no smell at all. The Big Plate Chicken, Dapan Ji was awesome. Appreciate you guys discovered this place for me !! You guys are always awesome !!
There is a Muslim Chinese restaurant near where I live in San Jose which I really like, but I'm definitely going to checkout this place in Union City. Thanks, great videos!
Hey guys, if you're ever passing by the middle east by any chance and coming to Jordan I'd be more than happy to show you around especially the real middle eastern food :) Keep up the awesome videos ✌️
10/10 -- I hate to say that each one of these eps is better than the last, because they're all *awesome*! I think it's great that you're bringing attention to these smaller independent restaurants. I'm sure a small place like this will see a noticeable spike in traffic. Would love to try someday. Winston, I hope the Vette made it through unscathed and, um...LOL at your spelling lesson ;-D
There are hundreds of shows where people go to restaurants and comment on the food yet you manage to transcend the absolute majority of them. Your ability to speak factually about the various dishes, their history, your personal experience and then compare/contrast them with authentic dishes is what elevates your show. I was concerned that this would be another insipid food tasting experience but I’m absolutely loving every episode. Simply amazing. Keep it up!!
I have to eat something when I watch these videos. The food looks absolutely amazing. Great advertising for all of these great restaurants, and of course another great video from you both.
The people from Xinjiang province aren't middle eastern, they're central asian. Central asians are a different racial group who are native to the central asian steppes. They have middle eastern and arabic culture because islamic missionaries went north and converted them. Other central asian countries include Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and kyrgyzstan. They have more in common with the Mongols than the Chinese. The Turks in Turkey and the Turkmen of Turkmenistan actually originate from Xinjiang province, although after centuries of intermixing they hold very little of their original central asian genes and are now a mixture of Caucasian and middle eastern and middle eastern respectively.
UB3RFR3NZY ^^^This! Good summary. I wish people knew a bit more about this region. Too many people wrongly group them all up as Arabs, even though they're not semetic. It's a multi ethnic region, but in general, (if I'm not mistaken, I'd be happily corrected), Central Asians are ethnicly "Northern Mongols" (for lack of a better term), West Asians from Turkey + Caucasus + Iran are Aryans, West Asians from the Fertile Crescent + the Arabian Peninsula are Semites, and North Africans + Horn of Africa are Hamites.
No, Mongols are Tibetan Buddhists, not muslims. The look exactly like East Asians, not central Asians. Mongolian language has a lot in common with Korean rather than Turkish. The only thing central asians have in common with Mongols is their nomadic lifestyle.
Anther muslim group in China, Hui, are descendants of Arabic and Persian merchants, although after centuries of intermixing they look more Chinese than Middle Eastern.
UB3RFR3NZY no, us turkish turks are not at all middle eastern. We are balkan folk and we are anatolian folk, although we don’t like to admit it, we look exactly like greeks. EXACTLY.
My son, who is mixed (Chinese/white), frequently gets asked if he is from Xinjiang when he is in Beijing, because he speaks Chinese, and looks very western.
Those Uyghur noodles are called “lagman” and are popular all over Central Asia- Xinjiang, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. “La Mian” must be the Chinese word. Lagman is the more common term amongst speakers of Turkic languages. When we were sort of “stranded” in Ürümqi after flight cancellations we explored a bit and met Uyghurs at the market. My wife is Kazakh and was able to understand Uyghur language because it is very similar to Kazakh.
Great stuff, as usual. I've learned a lot more about authentic Chinese food in this series than I ever knew before. Your videos make me hungry - even right after dinner!
The reason why I am more interested in visiting China and Chinese culture is because of you guys thank you for that.BTW please come to east coast next time I live near Flushing,Queens,NY big Chinese presence here and there is a new Uyghur restaurant that opened last year in the food court of J-Mart I usually get the Pillaf and Lamb shank

yeah i known about that, but still rare on youtube. You hear about the whole system of sending chinese families into homes to teach the muslim "chinese traditions" lol what a joke as if they where not chinese already.
no privacy They were “persecuted” because they were causing trouble in the first place. Now they aren’t being “persecuted” because the Chinese government has scared them into being more peaceful. If they cause trouble again they’ll be stamped out, as they should be if they do so.
lol god islam haters are funny. even if its literal genocide (rohyngya in mynamar) they find a way to blame it on the muslims. You know you are the same as the nazis that came up with shit to blame the jews as an excuse to persecute them right?
@bob goods: Hey, if only it wasn't true! For over 1,400 years *Moslem's* (I love using the old spelling! Does that piss you off? Good!) have been oppressing all others, and the Crusades were actually a defensive campaign to take back what had been stolen from them! Can you tell everyone what *Dhimmi* means? Can you tell everyone what *Jizyah* means? Can you tell everyone what a *Janusary* was? Can you tell everyone what *Bacha-Bazi* means? Can you tell everyone what *Tarikh Gamelah* means? Does this make you uncomfortable? Are you starting to squirm? Does this destroy your whole argument? Here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/13th_Waffen_Mountain_Division_of_the_SS_Handschar_(1st_Croatian) Think before you open your mouth, boy. Better everyone think you're a fool, while silent, rather than open yer' yap, and prove it!
photinoman How much percentage can turkish people understand uyghur language. I found it very interesting because I can't understand any Tibetan language since Chinese is part of sino tibetan language. I can't even understand cantonese.
Average Turkish people should be able to understand %60-%70 of Uyghur language right away. When I listened to an Uyghur song the first time, I was amazed that I could understand what it says. I believe if I go to the Uyghur region, I can communicate them without any problem.
photinoman Wow that's pretty amazing to see how close each turkic language connect to each other. It will be very hard for different types of sino tibetan language speakers to understand each other's language, northern Chinese can't even understand southern sinitic dialect. For me northern Chinese i can only understand 5% cantonese and almost 0% Shanghai dialect lol.
photinoman I am very interested in to turkic language. Can Oghuz turkic people understand Karluk or Kipchak turkic? And can turkic speakers understand mongolic or tungusic language?
I used to eat at an Uyghur restaurant in Melbourne called Ayiguli. It was always a delight. I would suggest everyone try it. Its behind the Public Library in Melbourne Central.
The 12th century Moroccan traveler, Ibn Battuta, (arguably the greatest traveler of the ancient world)..spent a lot of time in China and noted an entire Muslim Quarter in Beijing (not Turkic people).
Great job guys! Especially my hands in the minute 2:36 and 12:08 (Hand modeling here I go lol) Love Xinjiang food tho, the best in China imo! #EstaiOsome meh!
damn, having an amazing restaurant so nearby and not knowing about it, Ive seen plenty of Chinese restaurants around Cali, I just discarded this one as being typical american Chinese food, I will be sure to make a trip with an empty stomach, this food is different, tasty, muslim and still Chinese somehow, lovely!
There's a Uyghur restaurant down the street from me that I went to a few years ago. I'm going to go back there this week because of your video. I'm really looking forward to it.
Interesting.....Never really think of Muslim food when I think of China, But I have never been to western China either thanks again for another great video you two!!
Panzer Blitz. Most Chinese Muslim food are not uyghur food. If you see 清真 on a restaurant, it means halal. They are food of 回 hui people who are descendants of Arab traders in 10th century and Chinese. They look just like any other Chinese after the Arabic genes were diluted for a millennium.
OMG the food is looking better and better. This was an amazing feast. It made me want to fly out now and stop by the place to sample what you guys just ate. Another great show and i was happy to share it with my friends and family. Keep up the great work guys. Oh just wondering so what are you doing to keep the weight off while traveling? Do you have any kind of workout? The food looks amazing but also very filling. Cheers
Travis L. Sounds like you are not super excited about Chinese food after all even though you're watching this series. Food in this video is really middle eastern food.
This is what i've been waiting for since i've started watching your video, since i'm Turkish myself :D I want to see more stuff with/about Uyghur people
I'm American, but I love, love, love Chinese food! When I watch your shows I have to go find a Chinese restaurant, it makes me crave Chinese big time, especially the Chinese BBQ show you guys did.
I live not too far from this place. I'm gonna try this place out after watching this video. Looks like you have inspired more people because someone linked you video on their Yelp page.
Just caught me off-guard, particularly on the day Winnie Mandela died (though certainly this was filmed and edited long before now). In the end, there are still plenty of people who never made it fully out of the 60's and 70's...all you have to do is listen to my music. :o)
keep up the good work! im sure c-milks editing skills have been pointed out many times and he really is getting good, but what stands out to me is the descriptions used. i hate it when food shows say something is good but dont describe it. i feel like i actually know what tastes and aromas are in the air. thumbs up!
I visited Xinjiang in 2016. The capital Urumqi is a very polluted city and rapidly growing. It had 3.5 million 2016, up from 1 million about 10 years ago. It feels more like central Asia than China. There is a high speed rail link. A metro system is being built. There will be 5 million people in a few years. Xinjiang province is a sea of wind farms and solar farms everywhere. My favourite city in Xinjiang is Turpan, a small city of 200,000 at China's lowest elevation below sea level. It feels very Mediterranean in character and Mediterranean type of crops being grown including grapes for wine. Xinjiang is rapidly becoming a front door to China rather then a back lot with the opening of the new silk road. The Chinese government has a plan for an 1,100 km water tunnel to turn the Taklamakan Desert into another irrigated California Valley by taking water from Tibet. The evidence of development is everywhere in Xinjiang. Winston and Matt have said they will not go there but I would love to see a "Conquering Western China" video.
Uyghur Cuisine I must try one time San Francisco will be an eventual travel destination Really enjoying the Chinese Cuisine reviews Enlightening critiques making me hungry![ Thanks for sharing!
I would sometimes get a plate of the beef with the noodles for another 30RMB. I would not need to have anything other than a beer for supper after that.
Wilson, this is the best way to talk about food. You should do this kind of video when you talk about food in China. Like when you came to Obama Brother's restaurant, or other restaurant in China. This video is simply awesome. It make me hungry
Awesome. It looks pretty familiar because here in Germany there are a lot of Turks and you can find many kebap-(/ "Döner")-shops in every city. I remember all the food I ate when I was in China and a combination of these two sounds very delicious.
So glad to see you enjoy the food from these wonderful people. I really miss my Uyghur food cooked at home. By the way, you may have heard of a guy called Marco Polo? Silk road, Lagman noodles, Then soon after his time there, Pasta Italy, etc. :-)
sometimes in the edit, I will adjust the score if I felt that either I wasn't fair, or if I misspoke. In this case, I found footage (I had forgotten) of me eating real baked buns in a Xinjiang restaurant in China, and they were exactly the same as the ones Winston had, which leads me to believe the buttery preparation might be the real deal. My apologies.
I'm actually more confused by what +ADVChina said because didn't only Winston give a score on authenticity of the buns, while C-Milk passed on the rating, so the 9/10 rating only came from Winston...? lol
Helpful video as whenever i'm in a Uyghur place when i'm in Kazakhstan i never know what to order and end up either sticking to lagman or lcoal food like Plov. That lamb pie looks allot like something ive tried and loved in a Lebanese place in my city and i had no idea Uyghurs had something similar.
Hi guys, I absolutely love your videos, they are so informative and entertaining, and some of the sights you show are breathtaking. I am Australian, and Chinese food in Australia remains popular but not as popular as it was in in years gone by. Here in Australia we had a big influx of people from Thailand, and Indonesia during the 80's and the range of eastern food we have available here now is crazy. Thai food seems to be the most popular and mum and dad Chinese restaurants (westernised Chinese food types) are now closing as their proprietors are become old and their offspring do not seem to want to take part in the family food business, which is sad for those like me who adore Chinese food, in my immediate area, say about 20 years ago, I had access to over 9 Chinese restaurants and now there are only a couple, but there are many Thai ones. I do not mind Thai food but its like anything else, really good or really bad. I wonder how you both feel about Thai food? We have in the city of Sydney like most places in the world an entire block dedicated to Chinese food and Chinese supermarkets, ours is called Dixon Street....it has changed and revamped over the years, but the fibre of it remains authentic. Anyhow keep up the excellent work, love it....xxx
Great video and thanks for your effort to introduce different food cultures! But I couldn’t resist the urge to correct you on the names of the food in this eps. Not La mian but Leghmen; not Kao baozi but Samsa; not Lamb pie/nang baorou but Gösh’nan, the name Nang baorou actually is used to call Qordaq (another traditional Uyghur food) by the Chinese speakers,. And also the drink is called Süt’chay. I can understand that you were probably making the names easier to remember, but keep it original is also respecting the culture.

Winston and CMilk appears to be sympathizers --- but actually supporters of Turkestan
I'm Uyghur.
So happy to watch such a great video! I believe this made more people know about our food ...
Thank you guys! ❤️
Rezeye Abulaiti I’m from Pakistan 🇵🇰 I’ve been studying in China since last 5 years but let me tell yeah I love Xinjiang food it’s delicious
@Shit Kicker ?
Ever heard of Dolan's restaurant in Los Angeles? I vlogged a video there recently, and recognize many of the same dishes like big plate chicken.
Where you from

Mr. T Ruth LUCKY!!!

This series so underrated maaan, should be on food channels on TV. deserves millions of views.
F1 Hal Sparks is going over there to make a US TV Version!
Yep. I feel like I can relate :(
Uyghur people are beautiful people!
Caryn Schwengel thank you

AmirioTheGreat i agree TV is a dumb format
They could get signed for a Netflix deal easy I'm betting.
I have a feeling they are making pretty good money from UA-cam and they are able to retain editorial control to a greater degree than if they were on TV.
TV would be super dramatic and they would play things repeatedly with an annoying narrator. I like this better
That's true .
This channel have reached next level. Absolutely love the food episodes. Well done.
This channel and serpentza are my new favourite channels on UA-cam. Great stuff guys 🏴
:(
I got a shitty phone tbh that's why
Is that you C-Milk?

There aren't any Chinese Muslims in usa
The one cuisine of Chinese food so far in your quest for the best that I find appetising. Great vid guys.

احلا معلم حامد !
I've heard American fast food chains have occupied Middle East Countries, is that true?
Xingmeng Liu
Yes..... It's all over the place... And Chinese restaurants too...
Boldfrog
Chinese muslims don't eat Chinese food. Arabs don't care if it's halal?

My son, who is mixed (Chinese/white), frequently gets asked if he is from Xinjiang when he is in Beijing, because he speaks Chinese, and looks very western.

I'm hand pulling my noodle over it.
I don't need the food, I just need Winston in a suit and tie. That's enough stimulation for me.

Love your food videos. the suspension on that C4 sounds terrible. Keep up the good work.
Turkish people actually moved from Middle Asia to Anatolia region. We can still understand the Uyghur language:)
photinoman Turkish looks like Eastern European now
photinoman How much percentage can turkish people understand uyghur language.
I wonder if there is any in Sydney ?
The 12th century Moroccan traveler, Ibn Battuta, (arguably the greatest traveler of the ancient world)..spent a lot of time in China and noted an entire Muslim Quarter in Beijing (not Turkic people).
Ken Yam oh right, Hui. Apparently Xi'an has one of the oldest mosques in the world... fascinating.
it was 14th century. In 12th century there was No muslim in Beijing.
Blackbirdz2000 what is the biggest?

I kinda miss the usual content you do guys. I did not expect this to be more than 5 episodes long.
Great job guys! Especially my hands in the minute 2:36 and 12:08 (Hand modeling here I go lol) Love Xinjiang food tho, the best in China imo! #EstaiOsome meh!
Xingjiang food is really middle eastern food instead of Chinese food.
Its 4am here in France watching my favorite youtuber. Cheers from Paris brother 👍
damn, having an amazing restaurant so nearby and not knowing about it, Ive seen plenty of Chinese restaurants around Cali, I just discarded this one as being typical american Chinese food, I will be sure to make a trip with an empty stomach, this food is different, tasty, muslim and still Chinese somehow, lovely!
James Patrick. All restaurants in plazas of Chinese supermarkets (99 ranch, marina food, lion city) are authentic. This one is with marina food.
I love this series so very much. Thank you both for doing it.
I'll be glad when this series ends, I always end up watching it late in the evening, and end up feeling starving!
Only one more episode
oh no
Oh no! I hate the starving feeling but at the same time I want the series to go on and on and on and on....
Same here. I'd get fat over there. The food just looks too damn good
I'm going there today!!! Getting excited
There's a Uyghur restaurant down the street from me that I went to a few years ago. I'm going to go back there this week because of your video. I'm really looking forward to it.
@Rat Kindler:
Ask them if it's Kosher for Passover!?! *_:D_*
Adore you both! Watching your show always relaxes me.
You guys should try panda express. Best Chinese food ever. Hands down.
I really enjoyed that story about sharing the meal with the restaurant staff.
Interesting.....Never really think of Muslim food when I think of China, But I have never been to western China either
thanks again for another great video you two!!
You guys need to do more food reviews when you are travelling in China...This is great
The quality of this series of videos if top notch, higher than tv, this should be in Discovery Channel.
Yes they should be. I have tried to get in touch with such channels and recommend their (ADV etc.) "programmes".
I wonder how much business your videos of all of these restaurants has drummed up for them?! All of the food looks fantastic!
Cheers
we get super fat on these trips, the weight loss starts when we get home!
Keep up the awesome work guys, you Rock!!!
Ha ha ha! Wait till you go to the Navajo Nation (Reservation)! We will show you both the best food on earth!
This is an awesome series. The production value is fantastic. Loving your guys' content. Keep it up!
Most appealing food so far.
Travis L. Sounds like you are not super excited about Chinese food after all even though you're watching this series. Food in this video is really middle eastern food.
I admire Your posts. Guys You are doing an amazing job, in intercultural braking of cultural barriers. With true respect from Bucharest Romania.
Love the videos, wish I could find some genuine Chinese food here in Belgium instead of the Indonesian/Chinese style we have here.
Xi'An's Muslim District at night was my favorite part of when I visited China. The liveliness, the food, the atmosphere was just amazing.
This is what i've been waiting for since i've started watching your video, since i'm Turkish myself :D I want to see more stuff with/about Uyghur people
Thank you for a funny and informative video! Stay awesome!
Awesome guys!! My mom lives in Union City, gotta try it next time.
新疆菜 (Xinjiang Food) is actually pretty good 😋
I'm American, but I love, love, love Chinese food! When I watch your shows I have to go find a Chinese restaurant, it makes me crave Chinese big time, especially the Chinese BBQ show you guys did.
Cmilk must have heard that joke many times in his rapping days.
shhhh ;)
nice episode...it's great seeing someone from another part of China that is not normally represented in the food industy
Wow. Now that looks incredible. Until you two guys I never knew there was such diversity in the food China had.
I live not too far from this place. I'm gonna try this place out after watching this video. Looks like you have inspired more people because someone linked you video on their Yelp page.
Awesome! Say hi to them for us!
ADVChina definitely will do.
You chaps are very good promoters of Chinese culture.
David Brown lol, seems you know chinese cultures more than me
Thank to both of you for uploading such a beautiful clip
white guy with dreadlocks lol Awesome episode...and I am glad you are having a success here in your quest!
Hey Nu Metal is still a way of life for some. Mostly that never came out of the late 90's/early 00's.
Just caught me off-guard, particularly on the day Winnie Mandela died (though certainly this was filmed and edited long before now). In the end, there are still plenty of people who never made it fully out of the 60's and 70's...all you have to do is listen to my music. :o)
that song in the beginning sounds so good
*saves this restaurant on Google Maps* Now I have an excuse to go to the East Bay sometime...
Very cool to add the Chinese names for food. Thank you.
Another one from there but I prefer to call East Turkistan . Awesome videos 👍🏻
keep up the good work! im sure c-milks editing skills have been pointed out many times and he really is getting good, but what stands out to me is the descriptions used. i hate it when food shows say something is good but dont describe it. i feel like i actually know what tastes and aromas are in the air.
Yeah, that part is actually very safe and fascinating.
Uyghur Cuisine I must try one time
San Francisco will be an eventual travel destination
Really enjoying the Chinese Cuisine reviews
Enlightening critiques making me hungry![
Thanks for sharing!
I ate lunch on the weekends in Baotou at the Muslim noodle restaurant. it was very spicy ad very good and only 15rmb.
me too! i know the very place
I would sometimes get a plate of the beef with the noodles for another 30RMB. I would not need to have anything other than a beer for supper after that.
Loving this road trip series 👍👍👍
This is my “most comfortable” Chinese cuisine. But Sichuan is my favorite. Cantonese last for the reasons mentioned... it can be bland and... bugs.
Wilson, this is the best way to talk about food. You should do this kind of video when you talk about food in China. Like when you came to Obama Brother's restaurant, or other restaurant in China.
This video is simply awesome. It make me hungry
19:20 love this so much.
So Cool! Will be going as soon as possible. Have always wanted to eat pulled noodles and you guys found the place for me, AWESOME!
Awesome. It looks pretty familiar because here in Germany there are a lot of Turks and you can find many kebap-(/ "Döner")-shops in every city. I remember all the food I ate when I was in China and a combination of these two sounds very delicious.
This looks so good. I found a couple places listed in Hong Kong. I hope they are good! Thanks for all the tips.
This topic is how I first stumbled upon your channel
So glad to see you enjoy the food from these wonderful people. I really miss my Uyghur food cooked at home.
By the way, you may have heard of a guy called Marco Polo? Silk road, Lagman noodles, Then soon after his time there, Pasta Italy, etc. :-)
I hope one day you can do your Conquering Western China.
Pelle Nils. terrific idea. They wouldn't be allowed in separatist areas but still a lot to cover.
Great series. Need to due an east coast series.
Another epic video guys, But the SLIGHT inconsistency between the verbal & written/on screen score makes my OCD hurt..*example* 12:20
sometimes in the edit, I will adjust the score if I felt that either I wasn't fair, or if I misspoke. In this case, I found footage (I had forgotten) of me eating real baked buns in a Xinjiang restaurant in China, and they were exactly the same as the ones Winston had, which leads me to believe the buttery preparation might be the real deal. My apologies.
Wait, what? I'm confused. I've always thought the ratings are the average of both of their scores.
Your most likely correct. For whatever reason, my brain didn't jump to that idea. Guess i'm just bring up the number of comments.
HAHAHA 19:26 I didn't get it at first but when I did i lost my mind, oh man that's hilarious
Thanks for the recommendation. I guess I'll be checking this place out this weekend.
Hi NoPain NoGain, thanks for your tip
I've lived in union city all my life and live less than 10 min away from this restaurant. This restaurant is unique and delicious! Love the video.
19:22 Holy Shit XDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Great video and thanks for your effort to introduce different food cultures! But I couldn’t resist the urge to correct you on the names of the food in this eps. Not La mian but Leghmen; not Kao baozi but Samsa; not Lamb pie/nang baorou but Gösh’nan, the name Nang baorou actually is used to call Qordaq (another traditional Uyghur food) by the Chinese speakers,. And also the drink is called Süt’chay. I can understand that you were probably making the names easier to remember, but keep it original is also respecting the culture.
