I hope Tulnar armor will have more organic, grown out look to them and made with materials found in caverns like bone, chitin, fungus, crystal or glass etc. Something like Dragonplate set, Chitin Armor, Farlmer Hardened Armor or Glass Armor from Skyrim or Morrowind.
I think some people don’t like the orge look and some don’t like the samurai aesthetic. I don’t think it matters since with character creation you can choose how your character looks. The Samurai aesthetic, you can just equip more knight looking gear. It seemed like the ogre Steven was playing had more European armor aesthetic anyways.
I think this was also part of the feedback for fighter. Where fighter just seems very Orc-like in nature, but doesn't have any room to be the more delicate type of samurai/swordsman.
This is bad ass. I may have to drop playing as a Dunir now. If the Tulnar ends up looking anything like a Tiefling, though, it will be my go, but this has now moved to the number one place as what I'm going to play in Ashes, with Dunir going to number two.
I remember being in discord chat talking with Vaknar when they got revealed to have a Japanese feel. Instantly disappointed cause I wanted a big ugly orc for my tank.

That sounds pretty cool, I honestly would love that. Tulnar have me on the fence about Ren'kai. Can't wait until we finally get to see the models!

I mean you could go for Blademaster look from Warcraft 3, but majority of fighter mains prefer knight or barbarian look in my experience.

Thiefling like race I would leave for add on or expansion. Drow too, which are present in AoC lore.
