    HI, i have an integral that i need to solve, J(n) = integral((x^2n)(e^-x^2)dx)| bounds-->+infinity, -infinity, upper and lower respectively. i don't know how to solve it, i have tried setting n =1, then it simply becomes a function dependent only on x...

      that is one solutions, a friend of mine tells me that it is wrong, and there is a a specific way we solve it, called solving parametric integrals.
