More like pointless. The same way you can just buy a house... This yacht can't go anywhere, it has limited amount of fuel - so you can't really travel with it. So you going to the ocean, not too far from seashore, and then - you go back. So what is the point of having it? It is like owning private plane that can only fly you around your city, but not to the other countries.
I have had the pleasure of working on deck for not 1 but 2 mangusta 165. Absolutely amazing boat. Not to mention it’s a deck hands dream because it’s a low profile super yacht and has less overall space to wash, and it’s get to locations twice as fast as any other yacht I’ve been on.
Mate, if the financials where in place, it would take less than a second to say a full-blown YES to this magnificent beast of the seas. Gentle as a lady and roughless as Godzilla.

That said, I heard a private jet salesman once say with a chuckle, “If you have to ask about the price, you probably can’t afford to be buying a jet anyway.” Who cares about the depreciation at that level of income? At that point, it’s all about the type of lifestyle something gives you.
Guess I'm going to have to pick up a different 165' yacht as a runabout to keep in the garage of the main yacht I just bought. Had the CVN-65 Enterprise refitted with a shitload of wood and granite and leather.

My aunt and uncle have had me come on their 135' yacht several times for a week at a time. It was just as luxurious as this one. Honestly, after spending a lot of time on it, I would not want to own one - even if I could easily afford to. When I saw it at first, I thought thsts a lot of wasted space for a 165 superyaght. No tri-deck etc Then I saw the interior, and her specs. Iike the new Bmw M8 and M6, compared to smaller super cars. Big and powerful, sleak and extremely fast for her size. Like the M5 and M760il Bmws, are the executive luxury cars, like a tri deck superyaght, with almost supercar speed. The Bmw M6 or M8 is as executive looking even though a coupe, and its size should mean shes not as quick as a supercar. Until you park a Ferrari next to her, and when she pulls away, the Ferrari will be dumbfounded. Like the sleaker speedboat, or smaller speed cruiser yaghts, this 165 will turn heads. 45knots is amazing. I love this beauty.

$18.000.000 after refit, lovely boat deign, but any interior designer will tell you, you do not design the interiors how you want them, you do everything neutral so you give any potential owner a blank canvas. This Yacht will be on the market for a very very long time. This is not a reflection on the video but on the interiors, and no mention of any water toys.

Although one flies and the other floats, falcons and yachts have a lot of superlatives in common.
Way too many unsupported hyperbole. Did you intending to insult the viewers or was just an accident. By-the-way, this vessel is way too heavy to be 'sporty' and/or 'agile'. This vessel is compromised in many ways - having the (very basic) exercise machines on the deck shows the lack of flexibility in cabin layout. The comments in general gives the impression that owner is desperate to sell and could only put it on the market after a very expensive refit. The package must be one of the most expensive to operate on the market - there are many others (with a similar size) on the market that are more focussed and cheaper to run. Overall, it reminds me of an 1980s Ferrari: it looks and sounds good but you wouldn't want to kept it.
If I had the money to buy one of these, I would live permanently on the yacht to really enjoy the beauty of it and not just see it for a few weeks every year.
Dave you make 2 videos of each vessel a walk threw behind the scenes and then the finished product! Id do the finished product first then do the behind the seens! The brown yellow palette is perhaps mostly for certain middle eastern clients. I like the sporty configuration rather than many decks when it is as large as it is. The small windows in many of the cabins might again have narrow market.
This is a SALES oriented presentation. Part of the task in selling big ticket items is to create an atmosphere and to suggest to the prospective buyer that they are elite achievers. As such, this video is a work of art.
What ppl dont realize is that a boat like this isnt used year round. And the time you dont use it you can rent it out. The money coming in from that doesnt only pay for yearly upkeep and the time you use it but it can even make a portion of the purchase price back.
it is extraordinary for sure ..... a master piece. But from a yacht owner point of view it would not be my first option for sure ...... The range of this can NOT be big for sure. Anyway it is a matter of taste and preference. Very impressive boat for sure.

What ppl dont realize is that a boat like this isnt used year round. And the time you dont use it you can rent it out. The money coming in from that doesnt only pay for yearly upkeep and the time you use it but it can even make a portion of the purchase price back.

it is extraordinary for sure ..... a master piece. But from a yacht owner point of view it would not be my first option for sure ...... The range of this can NOT be big for sure. Anyway it is a matter of taste and preference. Very impressive boat for sure.
