Absolute MONSTER. Back in junior high (middle school) my mom bought me a Jason Williams Sacramento Kings jersey i still have to this day in mint condition. I'm 39 now
The guy had talent and some serious training on those handles! But I think he's kinda overrated due to his flashy, spectacular game. He was pretty inefficient in clutch situations and his poor playoff performances led to the trade for Bibby. He had some fun seasons in Memphis with Gasol, another big who could catch those crazy passes! OMG he was really an entertainer! And it's impressive how he became a regular PG later in his career getting a ring with the Heat, backing up Payton.
jason williams, dough christie, peja stojakovic, chris webber and vlade divac...this kings lineup was the most fun to watch ever to me in basketball history ❤
A true master point guard... Smh... My man is flat out awesome. And, he came with a defensive package. Not to overlook his High Basketball I-Q. Salute to J-Will.
I tell you what…If you haven’t watched his Interview on the “OG’s” UA-cam channel…You’re missing OUT! Great episode, highly entertaining & also EXTREMELY HILARIOUS!! I was late to the party & JUST watched it 2 days ago, & I’m mad I hadn’t watched it A LOT sooner. Most definitely recommend everybody to go watch it!! The man, the myth, the legend, WHITE CHOCOLATE!!!🔥🔥🔥
First player ever to make assists look like dunks no disrespect to magic but white chocolate was just different and nobody seen true handles like that in those dayz miss that guy even know I was a Lakers fan😮
It was way cool seeing the super sonics and the jazz with Stockton and Malone. Those two were so freaking good. And Jason’s left hand passes were bullets nobody expected those. And the nba was more laid back and fun to watch back then. I loved going to games as a kid and seeing Michael Jordan play nothing better than watching him kick your teams ass every time and he did trust me
The players finishes are done with conviction and no hesitation they're making these dimes complete 💯. Imagine passes like this today ⁉️ players would be hesitating and running back to the 3 point line ijs this is a different breed of basketball 🏀 in 99 and 2000s
Thanks for the great compilation. He was ahead of his time with that quick pullup 3 too. I wonder how many more incredible plays we could have gotten to see if he didn't tone it down in Memphis.
That pull up 3 almost never went in 😆 If you want to have fun, you take Williams. If you want to win, you take Bibby. Not a coincidence that the Kings became contenders immediately after they made that swap.
@@synapse913 Exactly. Williams couldn't shoot or defend and turned the ball over a lot when he was on the Kings and going for maximum flash with his passes.

this is the 1st ever player i saw play that made the crowd oohhhhhs and ahhhhs even in away games coz of his assist, a showman indeed. the no look pass, bounce pass, the fake pass, behind the back bounce pass was his forte, and the elbow pass was superb. its so fun to watch him play with chris webber, those good old days.
