I agree, I’d like to see finished project prior to seeing pattern. Very pretty yet not one stitch rows.
I just found your channel. The few videos I have watched are wonderful. However, it would be easier to find something to watch if the thumbnail for the video was the stitch and not the yarn. Save time on opening every video to see what the stich is.
I generally do not open this types of videos on purpose and I hate these titles. I mean I want to see the result and than I should decide to watch or not. Why I opened this time I don’t know. May be the colors of yarn was the reason. It is a good pattern thank you but please try to put a picture of the result on the cover 🙏
I agree…I usually slide over almost to the end to see what the pattern looks like before trying it…saves me time and wasted yarn!
Hate the title, love the stitch
I think... the longer you spend watching... the more beneficial it is to the poster... so we seem to be in a world now, that manipulates people for gain. It's not about the end result... it's about how long you spend looking at something. Cĺickbait.
The stitch is beautiful, can watch to try in sweater.
Agree, any craft video that just starts and gives no idea what they want us to invest the next half hour to, I usually keep on scrolling. I always want to know what I’m getting into.
Technically more than one row, but one row of the PATTERN here. It looks like leaves. So very pretty! Saved to watch later when I have yarn and hook in hand... The colorway of the yarn is spectacular!
The thumbnail is pretty yarn but I rarely open crocheting vids if I don’t see a picture of the pattern. This time I did just to make this comment. If you want viewers. show a thumbnail of the pattern! Its rather irritating to waste my time opening vids Im not interested.
Fast forward. Easy peasy!❤
It's so much better when we see a picture of the finished project first because then we have a cohesive idea of what we are crocheting. The yarn is beautiful. ✨️💖✨️
Slide to the end to see finished product
@@helenab7576- I understand what you are saying and yes we do that. But it would be much better to see the project up front! Most of the more professional crochet designers are teaching new stitches that way!
It’s actually a 3-row repeat of rows 3-6 and a multiple of 4+2.
Thank you. That's helpful.
I've looked at this very closely and I'm sure that it's repeat of rows 4-7
Hi, just altering what I put on my firdt reply. I think that it's a repeat of rows 3-6.
Rows 3-6 counts as a four row pattern viz 3,4,5,6
@@juneryan217Hm, yes, i think it might be more accurate to say it’s technically a 4-row repeat, with the first two rows as establishing rows-meaning, rows 1 and 2 are simply foundation rows necessary to start the repeat pattern, and the pattern repeat starts with row 3’s single crochet. Rows 3-6 is 4, not 3. But also could have just been a typo on OP’s part!
It's not a one row repeat 😮
I love the pattern, thank you for sharing it with us! As for the other people who have commented on the video... You people really need to get a life. Someone shared something with you for free, and you're going to complain that the music is too loud? The music is too annoying? How about this: heard of a volume control? Do you know how to use one? Are you too lazy to use it?? And for everyone who has their knickers in a freaking knot over the title: how about you get over yourself. You're not very kind. You're not very grateful. The only thing should feel is ashamed of your own conduct.
Well said.
This is the age of hurt feeling, entitlement, know ot all and depression so it's the common thing for people to put down others make rude remarks and generally be unhappy about everything Love the music love the pattern live you ungrateful "children" Learn to appreciate the gifts of others and be thankful for being able to watch and learn
Well said!
@@deannaklaub8594 what purpose do attacking mental health serve in your comment? That seems incredibly unkind. Would you say "this is the age of broken legs" just because we're seeing a rise in people getting their legs broken? Would you blame their broken leg for anything you dislike about them? Have some compassion.
The yarn color is beautiful...any idea name of where it was purchased. Love the video. Thanks for taking the time to make it!!
El punto es bellisimo!! Seguramente si pusieras la foto del resultado en lugar del hilo, tendrias más visualizaciones. Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos!!
Thank you for taking the time to share this beautiful stitch with use. You are a gifted person. I will be using this one for sure 😺 may God bless you ❣️💝
i love this pattern! i write down from ch, sc, dc...fp...and i realize this is what i learn the basics stitches from other videos. Actually this pattern is really beautiful! i learn do it slowly because i'm a beginner. Thank you and love your hardwork!❤️❤️☺️🧶
I love this pattern. My mother would have loved it as well. I cannot crochet or knit because of issues with my hands but I appreciate the beauty of a project well done.
Hi, so happy to see you this morning. I love this pattern stitch, it reminds me of a dragon's scales. So pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous. You choose such pretty yarns. I've got a couple of project ideas germinating for this stitch. Thanks for another gem.
I really, really a written pattern to follow along.😢
So beautiful, the pattern and the colors. Please what is the brand and color of yarn? Thank you so much.
Does anyone know the brand and fiber of the yarn? It's really pretty.
Unfortunately cannot follow it. It's definitely not for a beginner.
I’m not a beginner and I can’t follow it either. Lol. No written pattern option. Boo.
This is a version of the alpine stitch. You might call it the puffed alpine stitch, as you pick up twice on the front post double crochet, as opposed to just once on the alpine stitch. The results would be a thicher, heavier fabric, but would also be more of a yarn eater.
Yes, you're right. You can even make it puffer by three or more and make a warmer, thicker blanket or cardigans. Of course the thicker the project, the more it ate the yarns. 😊
Thank you for coming up with the name of the stitch! I couldn't remember it. I'm going to do a baby blanket (4ply DK yard) for a special little boy that was just born.
You said one row repeat and every row has been different.👎🏽
Directoons would be nice.
Alpine stitch with an extra loop pulled up on the front post stitch. Hope this helps.
This is a beautiful ❤️ stitch but I really would love a written pattern please in English
Its in English in the top left hand corner
The yarn is beautiful! What brand and name of it?
I agree the title is misleading. But it is a very pretty stitch pattern and will make a lovely cowl or even a baby blanket! No holes for little fingers to get through. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you! I enjoyed the step by step visual along with identifying the stitches. Great pattern ❤
For us in the U.K, don't forget this is U.S terminology X
What is the name of this yarn, it is beautiful!
I have just crocheted a bag out of mixed weight scraps of yarn. It is heavy, bulky and stitch boring. I could go shopping for bricks in it.
This clip of delicate stitches, petit hook and colourful yarn is beautiful thank you.
I am amateur two chord heavy metal rock anthem.... you are a chopin piano prelude.
❤️❤️
Similar to the alpine stitch-or is it the alpine?
This is absolutely beautiful, now I need to try to stitch it!
Very beautiful stitch and looks pretty simple. Thank you for showing us how.❤
This is gorgeous! Grandma had good taste! 👅 love it especially with this yarn!!❤.
I love this is beautiful but i really wish there was a written pattern because it's really hard to tell which one your going in at times
Yes… I could follow along, but it would be easier if the pattern were written down so I could reference when I give it a try this weekend! 😎
It's called the alpine stitch, you should be able to find lots of videos and written patterns for it.
@@TheJestermint Thank you!
Sometimes slowing down the playback speed helps me when there are no verbal instructions.
I love the pattern. Am going to try and knit it. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Alpine stitch? It's beautiful ❤
BEAUTIFUL … BUT…
Hope she isn’t making a blanket with that tiny hook…it will take forever and it’s a yarn eater…
BEAUTIFUL. I CANT WAIT TO DO THIS!
This stitch might make a pretty cuff for a sweater. Diane
Chain off 20 chain 1 turn. SC under top thread back 20.. (chain 3, loop over , dc back in top thread back.. chain, 1 sc in top thread back 20) repeat
Wow! This one brought back memories. The last time I saw that stitch it was my own grandmother's work. She was making a blanket and while she had already finished it (by my standards), she was going over it again. I remember her telling me and one of my cousins that it was so pretty but she didn't like the back so she was covering it up. She covered it up by crocheting another pattern through the yarn loops on the back. It was pretty bulky, but since she used a different color for the back, it was also reversible. Two blankets in one. I've never seen anyone else do that.
Do you know what pattern it is?
@@veraholmes1453 I'll be honest, it was 40+ years ago and while I was interested in learning, I wasn't good with names. I've always thought of it as "The stitch grandma used on that blue blanket." Never seen it anywhere else since. I might be able to reconstruct it from memory... and maybe not. The chemo has done a real number on my memory. Sorry.
My Auntie Molly Crocheted a Beautiful "Double Sided"(Mint Green/White) Blanket For Me When I Was Pregnant The 1st Time Around & Stayed In The Family For My 2 Babies ('85 & '88) & Subsequent Kittens! 😻😻😻
I’d like to know the brand of yarn and where I can purchase it please.
I think we'd all like to know this, wish she'd mentioned or put it in the description. 🤔😒
Un patrón bello. Estoy de acuerdo que si pones el resultado primero en el video uno decide mejor si ver el trabajo
I have tried to crochet for many years but I am just unable to get the hang of it!! I can knit but ask me to crochet.......forget it. Why!! I knitted a baby outfit for my sister's baby and she thought I bought it from a shop. But no I did knit it. I love knitting and I would love to crochet too. I will still try...and try.....and try.
I’m better at knitting, but still keep trying to crochet, too! 😂
I'm the same away about knitting 😮😮😢😢
I love crocheting over knitting...
Hmm its actually a 4 row repeat but is a very beautiful stitch. I wonder what it's called?? Thank you for sharing it.❤
Double/puffed alpine stitch. 😊
What is this yarn you're using? It's beautiful.
Totally agree, I won't make use of these types of videos. Need to see what we're crocheting before we start
Is there a reason you yarn under and then yarn over with your stitches? Does it give a different look to the stitches?
I dont care for videos that r just music. I need someone talking and explaining how to do the stitch, etc.
Try playing at a slow speed and cool the movements? Xxx
Thank you! It's so nice and your stitches are so perfect. This is a little bit like the alpine stitch with an extended front post dc, but she drew up 2 long loops instead of 1 then did a yo and pulled through 3 loops I think, then the last 2 loops.Very nice stitch.
Beautiful pattern thanks for taking the time to share. keep up the good work, doing it how it best suits you.💖
So lovely. Thanks for sharing your grandmother’s pattern.
Love this stitch! And love this yarn - beautiful color combo. What is it?
Would love to know what yarn this is.
I love the yarn, it’s very pretty. What is it?
I love this pattern it looks like it will make a wonderful big baby blanket. I shall have a go. Thank you kindly for sharing.
What is the name of the yarn? It’s stunning.
Same here I never open this type of videos but she said her grandma always did this stitch so I was interested❤
Alpine stitch
Double/puffed alpine stitch. Yes.
What yarn is this?
Is it available now?
Beautiful ❤ what kind of yarn do you use? The colors are so pretty! 🌷
Look like rows of Autumn trees 😍
I was thinking dragon scales, but I like this interpretation too!
Is a pretty pattern!🥰 👏👏👏Thank you for your sharing and teaching!💐
It looks like it would be heavy. I just crochet edges, so I’m not a good judge of anything to do with crocheting!! It is lovely to watch you crochet.
I love the yarn and it’s a lovely stitch, would be a beautiful cowl
I mean it’s FPdcs, but ok. Borderline clickbait.
It’s more than that.
Love it thank you
I love this pattern very interesting thank you ❤
Very pretty stitch. Would like to try it in larger yarn and hook.
This was great, one of the easiest stitches I've learned. Thank you
I think this will make a great cushion cover. Thank you
Great idea!

Crochet, can for hat
Beautiful pattern. Thanks for sharing ❤
Lovely pattern and lovely yarn.Thank you.😉
? Alpine Stitch ? I'll need to compare. Good workmanship. Good technique.
She does one more yarn over, like making a puff, than Alpine, which is just a Front post DC. I like this one better than Alpine.
Such a beautiful pattern thankyou ❤
Your grandma definitely had a good eye, love this pattern. Thanks for sharing 👍
Could you video again and keep your left finger out of view? Right when you take a stitch, the finger covers what you're doing. I'm trying to learn how to crochet. Thnx...
Whet weight yarn. What kind .
That is a beautiful stitch. Thanks for sharing.
Loved the video! Beautiful stitch! Thank you for sharing! ❤️🇨🇦
This is a different version of the Alpine stitch. I love the Alpine stitch. Thanks for sharing i'm gonna try it.
Beautiful. Thank you
This is a lovely stitch. It is simple to follow. Thank you for sharing. 💖
Thank You I really like this stitch. What have you made with it? I think I'll try it on a hat first. Maybe put it in a shawl or wrap with lace stitches.
Beautiful pattern and yarn choice. Because I've been crocheting from a very early age, I understand your visual display. Thank you so much for sharing! I can't wait to use it. 👍❤
I like this design I’ll do it in my neck warmer 👍
The thing that confuses me is that at the beginning of rows, you tap your finger two or three times on the hook. What does that mean??? Is that some sort of OCD you have or are you trying to tell us something, man.
just keep watching😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,,,, IF you're really trying to learn you would watch it a 1000 times until you get it.🏆🏆🏆🔥🔥🔥🔥😎😎🧶🧶
@@gigigi2015 this comment is incredibly unhelpful. I've never watched a video "1000 times" to learn how to do a stitch. If it takes me that many rewatches then the video creator did a poor job explaining what I should be doing, and I can likely find a better explanation elsewhere.
I also see no point to the tapping, so instead of acting as if the rest of us are stupid for not understanding, why not try and help others out if you're understanding something others seem to be missing? Your comment comes off as incredibly rude.
@@gigigi2015 what a rude and unhelpful comment
She works to fast I’m a new learning person and I don’t like when they used a many colors wool bc you can appreciate the job but thank you 😊
That's is lovely.
I love it, thank you. The colours remind me of the yummiest ice creams. 😊
It looks like a garden of tulips. So pretty!
It does look like tulips! Its gorgeous.🌷🌷🌷
That's really beautiful.😊
Bello!
I appreciate you for sharing this stitch. It’s beautiful❣️❣️❣️

Looks like a meadow of pretty coloured flowers.
Beautiful stitch ❤️
The music is much, muchlouder than every other video and a Kind of stressfull because of the tempo , I watched, maybe fix that.😅 And I agree with @nurk4854, for me it was the grandma in the title, but normale I ignore Videos without the result visible.
I don’t know what you call the stitch but it’s beautiful!
It is the alpine stitch with on extra wrap on the post stitch.
I LOVE IT! Thank you miss crochet queen for sharing😊
Love the design. Thanks for sharing. Love from India 🇮🇳
Very pretty stitch, and I bet that will be very warm for winterwear, or blankets for that matter!
