This is why I don’t trust the star labels. If you are a 4 or 5 star recruit, yeah you are awesome NOW. But can you carry that through a college career AND a pro career?
Spent time at Oklahoma, still hoping his story ends well. God bless you and thank you for your time as a Sooner. Hope you get a spot and showcase, God bless you.
I’d like to see him go to my jags, we were the island of misfit toys last year. We took the guys who had ambition but we’re coming off of down years or who were ready to step into bigger roles. Who else for him to be better mentored under than a group consisting of Evan Engram, Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk? Those dudes can all relate in different ways to the struggles this kid faced
I would def take him in the 6th or 7th round just because he has potential and its worth a shot. Maybe a nfl receiving coach can get him to reach his full potential but if not it's only a late round pick and worth the chance
For the life of me,as a former college football player, I do not understand why these 4-5 star players that do not do well at the POWER 5 level kust go to TEMPLE, UAB, MEMPHIS , ULL or even San Jose State/WYOMING? They would thrive qat these schools in the Mountain West, American conferences.
He was Caleb William's favorite target with 39 catches in 2021, I don't think it is clear why he transferred. It seemed like he was on a sure path towards the NFL at Oklahoma.
I watched him play a lot. His hands, work Eric and ability to get open will carry him through. He got picked up by the Eagles after not being drafted. Less money, but less pressure. I believe he’ll do well.
Something about him made me uncomfortable from day one. I wasn’t disappointed when he de-committed nor was I surprised he was a bust. For his sake, I hope he earned a college degree or is still working towards one because he doesn’t have NFL talent.
He messed up leaving Oklahoma, he should have stayed in Lebbys offense, and the knee injury hurt set him back some and he cant get separation part of that is he seems to want to fight with the DB instead of getting release.
@@dahomieohg1330hardly. Only cause Arkansas isn’t nearly as good as Ou so he got more targets because Arkansas WR’s aren’t in the same stratosphere as OU’s.
You don’t know ball. Haselwood is the definition of a five-star bust. He was mediocre at Oklahoma on some high powered offenses. He was mid at Arkansas as well. He in no way lived up to his 5-star ranking and definitely wasn’t close to the best receiver in the class as what many expected him to be
One of things that happens is a player is great when they are physically superior in highschool, and then the other kids get bigger and catch up, or they get to college where almost everyone starting is big, and that advantage disappears. Then they aren't able to adjust.
Thing is he isn’t a bust. Highschool was amazing and college he just didn’t perform as well. Played a major part in Arkansas’s offense his last year in CFB.
@@JonTyson-lh9gmhe would’ve been up there probably a second round pick if he stayed at Uga only reason Pickens didn’t go first round is because he got injured and he went second. Another crazy thing is the day he de committed George Pickens committed to Uga another 5 star
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy 🥸 I do feel for the tragedy of losing someone close...other than that, I was secretly happy when he de-committed from UGA. He's as conceited of a typical prima donna WR type as you'll ever see. I know for a fact why he de-committed. Coach Smart told him in a joking way "better bulk up cuz we do a lot of outside blocking in our scheme" and for some reason he took that very personally. I know ppl that were there, on the team and associated with him. After that, he and his fam put out a video sayin the UGA coaches acted shady, like used car salesmen...when in fact they were joking but telling him the truth. A gust of wind cudda knocked him over. I'm not hoping he DOESN'T have success in life, but I'm glad he didn't go to UGA. Must have been painful goin to WR heaven at the time (OU) and not doing much while we were winning NCs. But like I said that's over now, and I sincerely hope the dude gets a job in football cuz he really ain't cut to do much else. He thought for sure he was the next Randy Moss
That's cap Jadon decommitted because Justin Fields said he wasn't gonna be there next year coupled with a trash offense I couldn't blame him for going to OU with that high powered offense
@@JourTheeOnly That's bullshit. I KNOW. Trust me I had ppl in the room n outside. I KNOW two of the WRS personally n my fam is close to the program. It's not personal to me but when you call cap n I know better I gotta keep it real
Who should I cover next?
Julian Fleming
John Emery Jr next
Fleming for sure. Also Randall Cobb played with a 5 star in high school that nobody never heard of again
Do Savon Huggins. Former 5 star RB from St. Peter’s Prep in NJ. Attended Rutgers and didn’t amount to shit
UAB wr trae Shropshire
Him de committing was the best thing for UGA because Pickens committed right after
💯
This is why I don’t trust the star labels. If you are a 4 or 5 star recruit, yeah you are awesome NOW. But can you carry that through a college career AND a pro career?
You should trust them more likely than not. Not everything will be right, but for the most part they will.
It's usually right tho
Justin Jefferson was a 2 star recruit🔥🔥
Spent time at Oklahoma, still hoping his story ends well. God bless you and thank you for your time as a Sooner. Hope you get a spot and showcase, God bless you.
What went wrong for Jadon? Sorry about weird audio change
Could have been the injury that slowed him down. Remember him showing great promise as a freshman, seem to have lost a step after that.
His speed is definitely a major issue he ran a 4.66
That doesn’t mean much
Jerry Rice ran a 4.71
@CodeineAbdulJabbar I've heard that that likely was wrong. You can watch film and tell that was wrong
@@CodeineAbdulJabbar perception is reality. His speed is a problem

Sad to see he couldn’t do anything with my two favorite teams smh
Hope he can do some in the league
bro he honestly looks like a hidden 💎.. if he can sharpen those instincts he has with AJ and Smitty🥶🥶

Unknown story but you should do a video on WR Duron Carter (Chris Carters son). He had potential at OSU…
Duron ran a 4.6 and struggled because of his size
@@christopherhickman718 I mean 4.6 at 6’5” is pretty impressive. But he had so much potential but he didn’t have good grades.
He’ll get picked up and be productive. I think it was the situation he found himself in. I believe he has the tools to be a good pro..
In the XFL maybe.
No he won’t

If You Asked Me Haselwood Shouldve stayed another year at Arkansas Just To Get His Draft Stock Up
He was in the way. He couldn’t separate and was just average. His stock wasn’t gonna get better. Better wr’s were behind him on the debt chart.
Should of used that extra COVID year smh.
This young man had a ton of pressure placed on him as the best highschool receiver in the state. He clearly wasn't.
Injuries and not fast enough to separate period.

This dude is definitely not a bust
Yes he is
Definition of a bust
You don’t know ball. Haselwood is the definition of a five-star bust. He was mediocre at Oklahoma on some high powered offenses. He was mid at Arkansas as well.
He in no way lived up to his 5-star ranking and definitely wasn’t close to the best receiver in the class as what many expected him to be
Idk if you know what the definition of a bust is lol, dude was expected by many to play in the nfl coming out of HS
He was a top 5 draft pick talent. He was literally supposed to be Justin Jefferson as a player . Kid was waaaaay to arrogant and borderline ignorant
Falcons have visited with him, he could be coming to Atlanta to block and catch passes in a PA heavy scheme
Bro a year later I juss looked at this man’s Instagram and he literally doesn’t even play the sport anymore idek what ta say
I’m glad he decomitted from UGA. We got Pickens instead that year. Dude was a nut case
Show how EMU has changed since Coach Creighton arrives
Hope he figures it out he’s from the same county as me
Watched him since cedar Grove he can't separate and can't moss well enough for his size 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
hurts can change him
I'm so glad he decommitted. George Pickens is so much better

He just got released by Philadelphia
Wanted to be a instagram model more than play football

That's exactly what a bust is? Not living up to expectations? He wasn't even the best guy at liberty.
PS: I haven't watched the video yet
He was considered the top receiver of his class and never lived up to his 5-star rating. He most definitely is considered a bust
