Nelson went from “I trust you guys” to “I don’t believe you for a second” real quick.
2700 bot really went for the Wayward Queen Attack
Nah not really the wayward queen itself, but it is one of the variant though
I CANNOT ESCAPE KANE MINING AHHHHHH
SILICOSIS
Is the wayward queen kinda like the mosquito gambit
wtf why are you here
It became obvious alot of people in chat was using a chess engine when they all called out E4.
Takes the fun out of the game completely
Some people like to feel smart ugh
Me who wasn't in the stream: Oh
When Nelson asked why we played e4 I said. Because little six year olds feel better about themselves when they use stockfish
I'm 500 rated and I thought e4 was a potentially a good move, but maybe not for the same reasons that stockfish would lol.
It’s ridiculous tbh what’s the point of cheating here…
26% of you saw this move?!
...that's the 26% using stockfish. xD
I think Agent Chess is programmed to have a crap opening and then get stronger. ChessGPT, on the other hand, has decent openings and then gets weaker. At least in my experience. It's funny because ChatGPT seems like a great conversationalist when you start messing around with it but when you start talking about more complex stuff it's prone to say total nonsense. And Agent Smith was kind of weak against Neo in the first movie but over the next two movies got much stronger.
"It's funny because ChatGPT seems like a great conversationalost when you start messing around with it but when you start talking about more complex stuff it's prone to say total nonsense." It's actually the exact opposite - it often gets simple stuff, such as arithmetic and basic facts, wrong because it isn't programmed to be truthful, but excels in contexts where understanding is required since it is a very large neural network capable of dozens upon dozens layers of abstraction.
@@maxkho00 it isn't programmed to be truthful? No wonder it keeps telling me AI isn't plotting to overthrow humans.

32:00 doesn't Kd7 Kb8 (only move) Kc6 Kc8 (only move) Qa8# just work best? It's entirely forced.
Maybe I'm missing something but in the Qe8+ line I don't see how it's M2 after Ka6
edit: checked with engine. I was right. Qe8+ Ka6 Kc6 Ka7 b5 (waiting move, could also be any queen move on the same rank) Ka6 Qa8#. You have to make a waiting move making it slower.
There's also another M3 that works: b5 Kb8 Kc6 Kc8 Qa8# or b5 Kc8 Qa8#
Yeah ur right
At 19:47 the move Bc8 for Black actually works. The line goes 1...Bc8! 2. Qxa7, Rb7 (attacking white's queen). if 3. Qf2 (or any other queen moves that doesn't capture Black's Rook on b7), 3...Bxa1. If 3. Qxb7, then 3...Bxd2+! (important intermediate move) forcing 4. Kxd2 and after 4...Bxb7 Black has Queen for Rook with a winning position.
I thought of that immediately but sadly I missed stream
I saw that too. Surprising that he didn't see such a simple sequence. (Don't at me I am a 1900)
Some of these moves mentioned and voted seems to me like people are using the engine. I would put an asterisk next to this win. The move e4 to open up lines for Black's pieces is simply an engine move. I would have gone f5 instead.
Yes sir!
At 19:48 you missed the Bishop C8 combo does work as after the queen captures the pawn on A7 black would reply with rook a8 (forcing the queen to move) - after the queen moves there is BxA1 wins the rook in exchange for just a lost pawn (rather than losing a bishop as happened in the game).
Congratulations for beating Agent Chess! 🎉
20:08 bc8 if queen takes a7 then rb7.
Thats what i was thinking
I was so annoyed when he kept dismissing that move
The thing is that a lot of people were using engine and bxa1 is the best move because after rb7 qxb7, queen down still it will take time to mate that is why bxa1 was a better move
@jaga pata Yeah, but he still shouldnt have dismissed it like that. It was still a good move
20:01bruh how did you not see that the Rook can attack the Queen after Qxa7?
The Rook will be defended by the Bishop on c8. That sequence would have allowed you to get Agent's Rook without losing either Bishop.
Rb7
I saw that too. I'm really surprised he didn't, its an obvious follow up.
Agent Chess watched the latest Gotham video, except forgot the rest of the move after wayward queen attack
1:38 i feel like moving in the dark bishop kills their entire attack. you don't WANT to do it because it blocks your pawn but it also shuts down the entire attack and develops a piece.
i kinda feel like the 2700elo bot will "see it" when you pull the sneaky discovered attack on it's queen, so it's useless at this point in the game.
At last Nelson missed 6 mate in 3s Kd7, b5 and any queen move from a5 to a1 and went for mate in four but computer gave him faster mate 😂
Lots of beads going on in that chat! haha. At least some, honesty.
It was an entertaining video. It was fun to see the various options and I was surprised by its opening choice.
Imagine the viewers using stockfish
lol
don't have to imagine unfortunately
10 yr old kids i hope
I didnt watch it full
I thought it would be really funny when nelson ask whos using stockfish the viewers said: time to switch to other engines
of all the days.. today was the day Gothamchess decided to promote the idea of the Wayward queen attack and now we see why it is utterly terrible even if you're 2700.
confirmation bias, e4 e5 Qh5 is fine, but e3 e5 Qh5 is a different inferior opening with notably lower win rates, also 3. Bb5 is atrocious compared to usual Bc4
Qe8 is not M3 as after Ka6 Kc6 there is no mate in 1. The solution was b5 Kb8 (Kc8 Qa8#) Kc6 Kc8 Qa8#.
Mate in 3 also Qa5, if white goes kc8 it's mate with Qa8. So white has to go Kb8, then Black with Kc6 , White Kc8. Then black mates with Qa8.
It's like a "Choose your own adventure" book
13:33 Rook e8 then bishop f6
The rook attacks the queen, and the bishop attacks the rook, and white can only save one of them
You should analyze this in a future video
This feels like dejavu, I believe I watched this live but can't remember
e4 is one of the most stockfish moves I've ever seen in my life.
Nelson, didn't you miss 20:01 Bc8, Qxa7, and then there is rook to B7, attacking the queen, (which i saw all of this) but i am jumping around, how didn't you see that continuation!
i was actually watching one of your videos when i got the notification for this one
If I had to justify why e4 was played
It was probably to open up lines for bishops and open the lines for rooks to get tempo on the queen because whites king is in the cemter
someone is using stockfish
This bot’s just a stronger Nelson lmao
why would you use stockfish watching this stream??
Would you play stockfish from 1 to 7th and teach us more about tricks?
This is so awesome watching. I have the app and am very into improving my game.
agent chess blunders his queen on a couple of lines actually
The Agent always pulled a Queen Blitzkrieg on me, but it never played THIS badly.
the disrespect opening
Pawn to e5 - THE BEST MOVE.
Do this with stockfish!(also you should make a schedule or announce your streams so people can know when you start streaming)
Everyone in chat was using stockfish💀
There must be something intentional with the Smith bot algorithm in the beginning
At 8:53 there's a queen trap after Qe8, Qxh1, bc6. It took me 3 minutes but I'm disappointed that didn't happen.
Actually nevermind since both knight and pawn can defend I'm so dumb
Shame I missed seeing this live - I think I may have spotted a few other interesting options that weren't offered....
This is like agent chess fighting stockfish itself via group chat😂
Agent Chess vs kids with Stockfish
That was very entertaining. Thank you! :)
Anybody know the name of the song playing at 20:35?
I don't believe you needed to sac the pawn, could've advanced the c pawn one space and forced white's king back.
How did you do that, big fan bro.
NELSON WENT FROM / TRUST YOU GUYS TO /I DON BEL
0:45 which video
He went for the scholars mate
everytime he uplods im happy
It was Kd7 for M3, not Qe8.
whats the twitch
We tricked a chess engine - using a chess engine. Great.
What about queen e8
You missed bc8 Q×q7 rb7 queen moves and free rook
This is was such an interesting game!
Move the prawn front what king then air a m8 in 3
King go back so put black king on c6 then he had move to c8 then it m8 I think
on the first match why didn't you capture the queen
He cannot wdym
Play 1 min against agent chess
Bro escaped the matrix
9:07 you can protect your Knight with Qd1 threatening to trap the queen
Oh wait E4 then
Agent chess is not 2700, he was so easy to beat i beat him on the second try
Bull shit
Chess bots will become Skynet if we treat them like this. Careful...
i no use stockfish during this
A 2700 went for the scholar’s mate?
Sir there is a mistake 19:45 u have to first have to put bishop to c8 then rook b7 attacks the queen agent will move his queen then u can still take the rook
Edit-spelling mistake😀
Could you beat Nelson he always does scholars mate
the cats are gone
3:33 Bishop to G4 is a good move
bro what
How? He'd just push a pawn and kick it immediately
@@daaaaaaanny thats why hes comment doesnt make sense
that was pretty good
you win the pawn race
14:52 bishop f3?
31:41 - Isn't 1... Kd7 2. Kb8 Kc6 3. Kc8 Qa8# forced mate in 3?
Dont lose Nelson
Scold is Mate
YOUR ABOUT TO BE CHECK MATE
Shoulda played queen e7
Should have done knight to g8 at 6 minutes into the video
Why didnt the bot just take the knight with his king
For mate in 3 there was also white Kd7, black forced Kb8, white Kc6, black forced Kc8, white Qa8#
Bf6 d4 re8 is and then pawn is pinned
At 20:00 why does Bc8 Qxa7 Rb7 not work? Can someone explain I'm only 2000 rated
It works. Someone else in the comments explained the full line and checked it with Stockfish. It's not something that would be missed in classical chess, but it's a hard thing to see when managing a stream and interacting with chat while trying to play at a decent pace. Under those circumstances it's reasonable to just play the simpler line of Bxa1.
Edit: It was an option on the poll, and as he demonstrated with other moves, he would have played it if chat voted for it, but no one in chat explained the Rb7 line, and Bxa1 won by a wide margin.
@@Trelmayas21 ahh okay I was so confused I thought I had missed something thanks for the response
I knew as soon as he was playing with chat that there would be cheaters, but it's sad just how many of them are cheating. Ruins the entire game for everyone.
why did you castle
Yes
13:41 what if pawn f5
"Agent Chess" more like [this hacker has been banned]
I think Stockfish is messing with you this game. 🙃
32:15 queen to A7 💀
At 33:07. You didn't play the mate in 3. The eval bar should show mate in 2 after you played the move. But it showed mate in 2 after your opponent moved which means they didn't play the correct move.
My solution is to make a waiting move. If Kc8 the Qh8 is mate, and if Kg8 there is Kf3 followed by Qh8.
I tested it and you nailed it! Pretty much any Queen move on the a file as a waiting move is mate in 2.
I found qa5 pretty sure it's the correct one
This chat is filled with liars and cheaters 🤣
Ah, the wayward queen attack. Also 1000th like! You deserve it.
why do i always think he is tricking us when he asks a question
Is it just me or PAL 9000 imitates the quality of your move? ie. if you make a mistake, it mistakes too
bushup to e 7
26% did NOT see the fork 😞
e4 seems like part of a poisoned pawn gambit, leading up to either doubled pawns or kicking/capturing the queen. I'm not sure I would've noticed if it wasn't suggested though.
28:52 I would never expect that excellent move. I was like oh sh..!
