Although Wilson’s childhood was spent in Virginia, he was born in Cincinnati at The Christ Hospital. His father is attorney Harrison Benjamin Wilson III, and his mother is nurse administrator Tammy Wilson. He is the middle sibling, with Harrison IV, his older brother, and Anna, his younger sister. Wilson initially picked up a football with his dad and brother when he was four years old, and by the time he was in sixth grade, he was playing on the Tuckahoe Tomahawks youth football team.
Wilson’s dad was a wide receiver for the 1980 preseason squad of the San Diego Chargers and played football and baseball at Dartmouth. Anna Wilson plays basketball for Stanford, while Wilson’s brother Harry played football and baseball at the University of Richmond.

His mom is a college Professor she has a PhD in nursing. She just retired, however, she is still on the board, because she is a partner. They grew up to be excellent. They all graduated at the top in academics., and sports. His younger sister is a basketball player at a university. Both of them had a Dad that was a preacher. They are used to being what we would call extravagant.. They are doing the things that they probably are used to doing. They are living their own life.the way they were raised. He doesn't check for her, because Russell's mom was a strong woman to raise those children to be excellent while she was owning a school, and their father with a legal firm.
