    REAR is trucking reflective red/white tape something you'd like to have on the back and possibly sides, not sure if DOT frowns on it on a box truck, but in foggy conditions, may help others behind

    • @LiveSimpleLiveFree
      @LiveSimpleLiveFree  Місяць тому +3

      DOT certainly has no problem with it. DOT actually calls it "conspicuity tape," because it makes you more conspicuous. And I don't know why it's usually just on trucks. ANY vehicle (truck or car) would be safer with conspicuity tape.

      You'll see that in the next video. The system comes already charged, and it's just a matter of making the correct connections. It's a little beyond me, so I had a friend who is an HVAC guy help me install it. I would suggest that you can have ANY HVAC company do the install for you. It would be well worth the cost to make sure it's done right!

    Curious about how you decide the time length of a video. You are very creative in your solutions. My dad was like that. Sometimes he just sat and looked at something to figure a problem out. Always did. I am proud to say that I inherited that from him. Love you and Elizabeth!

    • @LiveSimpleLiveFree

      We generally try to make our videos 20-30 minutes. Videos longer than 30 minutes don't generally do as well. People don't click on longer videos as often.

      @@LiveSimpleLiveFree To your point... I LOVE watching car wreck videos (don't know why, learning what not to do I guess, teaching myself to ALWAYS be careful driving). My point, is that even videos that fascinate me are harder to watch when they are an hour long.
      Too many years of 30 minute TV shows which are themselves broken up 2-3 times by commercials? Who knows, seems nobody has a decent attention span any more.

    • @Rainstorm1301

      @@LiveSimpleLiveFree I've used Flex Seal on an airbox for my AC return, (sprayed it on the inside, MUCH easier to work with than mastic, just point and spray) - did the trick.

    Lol! I was thinking mariners paint and it does take several coats but I understand it's well worth the trouble. If, you are mounting heavy items on the back of the truck, why didn't you put in cross support between the 2x4's? To give them something more substantial to anchor into? Maybe you will but so far not seeing it in the construction. I agree, Sunday is the Lord's day, everyone who can, should be afforded a day of rest. No unessential retail shopping.
