What I love most about Yuna is she incorporates her music with her moves. A lot of figure skaters have the music as noise to fill a void. Yuna though uses the music to its full advantage and is coquettish with how she does it. THAT is what makes her the queen
Apart from her incredible technique and beautiful presentation, her persona and charisma on the ice is incomparable with anyone else's. She is perfect in every way.
She looks like a ballerina even right before and after jumps each. And every jumps are huge, incredibly delicate, and graceful. It is impposible to other athlete. She is maestro.

when i watch skaters i am nervous about them falling but with Queen Yuna you can just sit back and relax and enjoy the magnificent performance on show.
This is still superb in 2021. After Yuna retired in 2014 Olympics, the competitive field for ladies started to evolve into 15 year olds doing flutz and prerotated quads. It’s just very sad.
@@ForehandVolley-jm3kk she was very injured and managed to get high scores regardless bc of how excellent she was. The girls now have little artistry and terrible technique. They can’t do flips or lutz without using full base takeoffs and wrong edges

There are numerous clips of Yuna successfully landing triple Loop during competitions and practice if you had done your research. As we all know 'James Bond', he's very intense, he's got deadly skills while he maintains that cool-charming aura of a man. Like Yuna Kim was, with such deadly-supreme skating skills that is unrivaled, the intense competitor that she is and yet still manages looking like the coolest-charming chick on the ice even under tremendous pressure! So basically, Bond and Yuna both share a lot of similarities to each other.
Her speed going into the first 3-3 gives me goose bumps every time (also in her Gershwin piece). I have yet to see a woman skater who simply skates with such speed and poise.
I remember when I watched this as a kid it looked so beautiful and flowing to the point it somewhat looks effortless. Now looking it back as a figure skate learner I realise how much crazy amount of effort she wouldve put in to make it look this effortless. The flow, the skills and her expression is just breathtaking. Truly amazing and inspirational.
The women's event in Vancouver is my happy place. Yuna was absolutely perfect. Mao made history and Joannie triumphed over tragedy. There's only one Queen Yuna.
Incredible incredible skater. I don't know how sotnikova won... Well I do but I guess we don't talk about that. Anyways also love the encouragement and supportive approach from her coach. So unlike the cruelty we see from Tutberidze and Tarasova.

I still remember when I saw this on tv, and Yuna was THE BOSS!!! hehe. Now I've lost interest in figure skating after she retired. I tried watching some figure skating competitions but I can't bring myself to stick through them. Sochi was rotten asf, but shiznit whatever. I mean, the olympic organization could've done something to turn things around, noh? hhmm whatever. In my heart, she was the gold medalist there, either Yuna or the Italian lady. hehe. 저렇게 빨라야지만 통 튕겨기면서 회전력 빠른 예쁜점프를 할수있는데 보통 너무 빠르면 자기 속도를 못따라가 점프하다 넘어진느데 여왕님은 그딴거 없음. 속도따위는 여왕님 스케이팅할때 재미를 주는 녀석일뿐

I truly wish Yuna had skated more comps past the Olympics in Vancouver, her talents were not displayed enough. Such a beautiful skater!

As we all know 'James Bond', he's very intense, he's got deadly skills while he maintains that cool-charming aura of a man. Like Yuna Kim was, with such deadly-supreme skating skills that is unrivaled, the intense competitor that she is and yet still manages looking like the coolest-charming chick on the ice even under tremendous pressure! So basically, Bond and Yuna both share a lot of similarities to each other.

Her performances are so beautiful and perfect, I start crying from happiness when I watch them.
Her speed going into the first 3-3 gives me goose bumps every time (also in her Gershwin piece). I have yet to see a woman skater who simply skates with such speed and poise.
I remember when I watched this as a kid it looked so beautiful and flowing to the point it somewhat looks effortless. Now looking it back as a figure skate learner I realise how much crazy amount of effort she wouldve put in to make it look this effortless. The flow, the skills and her expression is just breathtaking. Truly amazing and inspirational.

The women's event in Vancouver is my happy place. Yuna was absolutely perfect. Mao made history and Joannie triumphed over tragedy. There's only one Queen Yuna.

I still remember when I saw this on tv, and Yuna was THE BOSS!!! hehe. Now I've lost interest in figure skating after she retired. I tried watching some figure skating competitions but I can't bring myself to stick through them. Sochi was rotten asf, but shiznit whatever. I mean, the olympic organization could've done something to turn things around, noh? hhmm whatever. In my heart, she was the gold medalist there, either Yuna or the Italian lady. hehe. When I could visit Korea someday, Yuna will definitely be on my mind. hehe! Yuna boss!

I here again, swear Yuna is still the best and perfect skater. Even though new skaters jump more than Yuna did, there is nothing something touching in their performance which Yuna had fully. I could swear this after watching Beiijing Olympic.
This will always forever be one of the most memorable skates for me. Kim Yuna is such a queen and this performance was so powerful and perfect for her.
