The circuit sounds really good. I love the color, it sounds much more lively then the noise based circuits. Nice work! 👏
This is awesome! I’m also building a hihat synth with the 40106, and this gives me the inspiration to get back to it! 😍
I've had the DR-110 schematics for years intending to build some modules from it. You actually did it. Great work!
I made this and the switching noise coming from the 40106 is absolutely insane... No amount of decoupling can tame it.
Try tuning the limit resistor on the VCC of the 40106.
Looking at Roland's original circuit diagrams, it’s clear they put a lot of effort into noise reduction.
This system keeps getting better and better
Keep it up!
Super slick! I might try and see if I can make a 1u tile layout for this module.
My thought as well...🫡
Great sound for something so simple!
Love it :) I'm definitely going to make one of these on my breadboard and try it out :)
interesting. is the pcb with vcc and ground lane (3:17) premade or made by yourself??
Yes, this panel is my design.

@@HAGIWO thanks !
looks similar to the TR-808, very cool.
I need this in my life. I may try with both cd4006 noise and your noise circuit to see what I like, or both. Why not?
Sounds great!
Fantastic work as always. どうもありがとうございます
