Liked and subscribed! Thank you for such a great instructional video. I’m using every tip on my next owl and the screw driver trick is brilliant. I’m stealing that!
I heat up the end of an old chisel and when it's red hot, run it over the eyes and claws and it leaves a nice black shiny finish as the wood surface kind of melts and scotches. Good idea to practice on a scrap piece first though.
Beautiful work
Jesus! So beautiful. My first owl looks like a cross between Frankenstein's monster and a hummingbird. This is so inspiring.
never saw anyone use a screwdriver for detail burning. What a great idea!!!
Perfect for eyes and claws

What is that awesome trick with the eyes and claws,?

What kind of oil did you use?
@timkelley6616 most of the time I use Osmo UV 420 clear protection oil.
