The game's various levels see you fighting Humpty Dumpty and his Egg People Army, kicking sheep into pens like they're footballs, destroying a factory run by a gnome worker's union, exploring a sewer populated by snowmen, and fighting a giant robot in a boxing ring. The whole thing is narrated by a bitter old grandma, too -- because Shrek never talks! In a Shrek game! @Jordan Spencer Yep, and litteraly the title of game is title of movie, but with "video game". Too bad I had the game in other language (french I think?) but those golf carts minigame were the best.
Fun fact: the Shrek extra large game was designed by Todd McFarlane. Yes, the same man that made Spawn. But because of this the game got critisism for having very realistic & dark colors and graphics. Impressive though, mixing Shrek with a comic about Hell, war, mafia, conspiracy, scifi tech, dark alleys and more.
I remember RebelTaxi saying that Shrek on the Xbox was one of the first big games to use 3D texturing on a character model, most notably Shrek's mini vest is very detailed for a 2001 game.
I remember playing the Over the Hedge game when I was little and I remember that in one of the levels, the TV is showing a loop of the dancing mini game from the Shark Tale game. I genuinely thought it was just a random animation, and I'm disappointed that it was an actual DreamWorks game
I've only seen 3 of this dude's videos(this, which I'm currently still watching, the ps1 accessory controller, and the third I fell asleep watching and don't recall which it was)but I know I literally just heard him explaining "if we didn't judge books by covers, then we'd stop hiring artists to draw covers for books, and every cover should just be blank white with black text saying the name and author of the book, OF COURSE WE JUDGE BOOKS BY THEIR COVERS!")
@@exocolt15 But the thing is Farqaud was doing everything, and I mean *everything* in his power to hide the fact he was short, the giant castle, always seeming taller infront of his people, always hiding the fact he was actually short. The movie wasn't making fun of him for being short, they were mocking him for *hiding* the fact he was short and not imbracing his height, so the movie's message still stands.
51:23 though.. that face and the way he's just stood there 😂🤣😂🤣 I don't know what's more funnier, the picture itself, what Julien is trying to say or how Caddy sums it up..
Somehow, Antz Extreme Racing got ants to ride on flying insects, but DreamWorks Super Star Kartz couldn't get Toothless to fly or have Hiccup ride him.
The first HTTYD game actually wasn’t that bad, to my memory. It primarily focused on dragon pit fighting, and if I remember correctly, you could raise dragons from eggs, and level them up.
15:08 Okay, this is going to sound incredibly weird, but I was watching this video half-asleep at around 5:00 AM a couple of months ago and at this exact part I entered a dream. The dream was of a man wearing a creepy mask who stayed mostly off-screen and had a hand puppet. During the "doo-dee-doos", he would make his hand puppet walk across the screen and on the "WOOPs", the man with the mask would show himself onscreen. I woke up immediately after, but it was very strange.
Just in case you were wondering: How to train your Dragon 1 was an arcade style game based mainly on fighting and leveling up your abilities. So, not too similar to the sequel.
The main thing Mario Party and Shrek Super Party have in common is ending friendships. You'll lose friends stealing stars in Mario Party and asking them to play Shrek Super Party with you is more offensive then any insult.

Best Game mode Ever Invented- no kidding.
YESSS. I loved that more than the actual game itself, lol
There was also a level like that on the Jackass game
Yeah same here, it was the best part of Over the Hodgeheg.... XD
@Jordan Spencer Yep, and litteraly the title of game is title of movie, but with "video game". Too bad I had the game in other language (french I think?) but those golf carts minigame were the best.
That's the only thing i remember from that game. Haven't played it in forever
Wait the maker of spawn made a shark game. What next spongbob fight the robot gang and design by invincible comic series.
@Mark Reynolds or toy story same style as the hellboy maker.
@@nathanblevins5483 Or a Mickey Mouse game design by the creators of The Boys.
I remember RebelTaxi saying that Shrek on the Xbox was one of the first big games to use 3D texturing on a character model, most notably Shrek's mini vest is very detailed for a 2001 game.
@@dnmstarsi Or a Sesame Street game designed by the people who made Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Oh silly caddicarus, the world isn’t just bricks, it’s bricks on fire!
and the bricks are fighting each other! The horror!
Yeah the flaming bricks are fighting each other but they’re also drowning
He is in the uk, the bricks didnt catch fire.
"Sans is such a cool guy!"
I didn't know sans had a youtube account, well the more you know I guess
I remember playing the Over the Hedge game when I was little and I remember that in one of the levels, the TV is showing a loop of the dancing mini game from the Shark Tale game. I genuinely thought it was just a random animation, and I'm disappointed that it was an actual DreamWorks game
To be fair, the part in _Shark Tale_ where you swim in a quick circle around objects looks like an... *unusually* satisfying manuever to do.
Just play Nights into Dreams for the Sega Saturn instead.
35:09 it’s funny because Shrek Movies (at least the first one) are about not judging someone for their appearances, yet Caddy does
Ironic that the theme of the movie is moot cus they spend the entirety of it making fun of the lords height
@@exocolt15 yeah but he deserves it
@@exocolt15 tbf, Farquad was a bonafide douchebag, whereas shrek just wanted to be left alone
This is the first time i'm watching a video from this guy...
OH MY GOD, HE'S HILARIOUS!

You have been blessed by Daddy Caddy. Let the screaming commence!

51:23 though.. that face and the way he's just stood there 😂🤣😂🤣 I don't know what's more funnier, the picture itself, what Julien is trying to say or how Caddy sums it up..
I love the delay as he processes what hes looking at before laughing too
Shrek: Super Slam is weirdly deeply complex. Also Red Riding Hood is op
I honestly loved Shrek: Super Slam and 2
21:38 the GBA version of Over the Hedge will give you PTSD. I still have Flashbacks to this day.
Why. Please tell me why.
Caddy: Some
Shrek: How dare you pause my song! And *what are you doing in my swamp*
32:40 so this is why jay baruchel insists on being the only on to voice hiccup
because everyone else sucks at voicing him
Makes sense
"Is the world still bricks?"
Boris: "No. But technically yes"
46:18 this has to be one of the best dry bits I've ever seen from Caddy, it's so quick and witty LOL
Love that he says “cut the cord”, when I’m sure he meant to say “pull the plug”
They put. A dragon. In a cart. That he didn’t fit in.
Hilarious. And kinda cute.
Somehow, Antz Extreme Racing got ants to ride on flying insects, but DreamWorks Super Star Kartz couldn't get Toothless to fly or have Hiccup ride him.
CTR: Nitro-Fueled put Spyro in a Kart, no problems there.
*Bowser wants to know your location*
@@CJ-ln5ov True, but Spyro was small enough to fit in a kart. Toothless is twice the size of the kart was driving.
Caddy: "Well, you know what, lady? You're a lying cow"
That is the best bee pun I've ever heard
The first HTTYD game actually wasn’t that bad, to my memory. It primarily focused on dragon pit fighting, and if I remember correctly, you could raise dragons from eggs, and level them up.
Do you talk about School of Dragons? Still playing with it to this day.
I would play it again to see if I still like it, but my copy is broken so all the dragons are pure white and the music doesn't play.
So, this "School of Dragons"s like the Chao Garden for dragons right?
Your right, though I don't remember the egg part, I had a hard time finding gameplay at the time
so was it like chao garden but with dragons
30:00 Anybody think he was describing Raid: Shadow Legends?
Yeaaaaaah. I was really concerned for a second
"Never heard of it? Where have you been? Can I join you?" - Spons sponsoring Raid: Shadow Legends
I was expecting Kung Fu Panda World, actually.
42:22 Ah yes, the Orz theme. Of all the songs from Star Control Toys for Bob could’ve picked to be their theme, they chose THAT one.
Dude, just herring Caddy say "Which means that somebody in this house is going down on this." Is just hilarious

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that and remembered those games. 😆
But Nights Into Dreams doesn't have random licenced music so Shark Tale is "OBVIOUSLY" better
Now I'm imagining Will Fish trying to fight Gillwing.
Fun fact about Shrek Super Slam, it has a full-on tier list for competitive play.
And Red Riding Hood is Brawl Meta Knight levels of broken.

I remember stopping right before the last mission because i couldn't beat the last Throw Gingerbread Man in the Oven mission.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH
The part where you made Gingy scream “BOOOOI” made me laugh so loud my neighbors might have heard me
"I'm afraid I can't do that. Your destination is behind you." Okay, that is genuinely creepy
Local 58?
15:08 Okay, this is going to sound incredibly weird, but I was watching this video half-asleep at around 5:00 AM a couple of months ago and at this exact part I entered a dream. The dream was of a man wearing a creepy mask who stayed mostly off-screen and had a hand puppet. During the "doo-dee-doos", he would make his hand puppet walk across the screen and on the "WOOPs", the man with the mask would show himself onscreen. I woke up immediately after, but it was very strange.
Interesting...
You just got fed the wrong visual stream

Just in case you were wondering: How to train your Dragon 1 was an arcade style game based mainly on fighting and leveling up your abilities. So, not too similar to the sequel.
Bro the how to train your dragon game was all I played on wii 😤😤
Are we talking about the Wii version or the DS version? I've only ever played the latter.

The main thing Mario Party and Shrek Super Party have in common is ending friendships.
You'll lose friends stealing stars in Mario Party and asking them to play Shrek Super Party with you is more offensive then any insult.
hey caddy. just want to say thank you. i dont comment very often and im sorry for the weird grammar. last sunday my 26 yr old brother passed away in a car crash. its been hard on all of us and i just want to say thank you for these videos. your comedy has helped me shoulder the pain tremendously. i love your humor so please (not that i think you were gunna buuuuut) never stop what your doing caddy. thanks again. much love your way.
Hey I know this comment is a couple months old but I’m so very sorry for your loss. There’s nothing anyone can say to ease the pain of losing someone so young and so suddenly but I hope you’re alright. Sending peace.
The most interesting fact about Dreamworks Superstar Kartz is that it was developed by High Impact Games, a studio comprised of former Insomniac and Naughty Dog members. Who had previously worked on the Ratchet & Clank series with Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank for the PSP as well as with Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier also on PSP.
