I find it funny that 7 seven of the 8 robot masters in this game look like they where actually at least semi designed for combat, and then there's Blizzard Man who looks like he was designed purely for skiing, and yet somehow managed to get in the top 8 of a world tournament.
Canada was fucking ruthless back during wartime and I wouldn't be surprised if they gave Blizzard Man even a fraction of that brutality considering he made it into the Top 8.
Fun fact about the demo mode that plays when you don't start the game: There's actually a proper name for that. It's the "Attract Mode", named after how arcade cabinets would switch into Attract Mode to attract attention from potential customers.
Fun fact, Mr. X is a separate character in the Archie comics adaptation who decided to fund Wily's robot madness as a way to convince people to ban robo tech due to his backstory.....which is complicated and involves Time Travel...that comic series was bonkers.

I began watching this series when I started my own journey through all of the Mega Man games, and now I've finished the games, but it seems like this series is only beginning! Super excited to see where it goes!
A bit of a bummer I couldn't catch this live, but this was still a really great way to cap off the NES saga! Also appreciate the return of the weapon gags, but with a new twist to them, that was great to see. And of course, the editing and other jokes were fantastic, probably my second favorite video so far (which is saying a lot considering there's not one video that I feel has missed or is significantly less enjoyable to watch than the others). Love how you cover these games! A fresh take on it! For the power adapter, it reminded me of Rocky, so Mega Man becomes Rocky Man in this game. I guess it could be a pun on Rockman, which is a pun on a music genre...so it's a very Capcom thing I can see them doing.

Awesome video as always! As much as I love Rush, it really does seem like by this point in the games, he isn't given as much use on his own. At least the Jet and Power Adaptors are pretty cool!
At least we get the Rush Coil and Rush Jet back in the next game, alongside the Super Adaptor allowing you to fuse with Rush for a combination of Power and Jet armor.

6 is my favorite NES MM game, it's the most refined (Make sense, it's the last one) and it has Knightman, my all time favorite Robot Master still to this day. I wonder what's gonna be next, is it the Collection 2 for 7-10? Or the GB games he was mentioning last time? (Which I also do recommend)
I like the fact that after each episode there is a new memey pixel art (for lack of a better word) of a robot master behind power guy, Pretty sweet detail!
Because fighting the robot masters requires you to simultaneously adapt to their attack patterns and dodge their attacks - I found it way easier to simply use the MEGA BUSTER than use their boss-weapon-weakness. In Mega Man 1, it took just 2 or 3 shots to kill a boss with their boss-weapon-weakness. In Mega Man 2, they increased their hit tolerance to either 4 or 5 in most cases. But in Mega Man 4, 5 and 6 because of the chargeable mega buster, it became a lot easier to just use that so long as they weren't immune to it.
You know what I just noticed. When he posted Megaman 1 he only put one ! And he’s added more like now he has 6 ! Whenever he’s playing a new Megaman game

In Archie, Mr. X is a seperate character who hates robots after losing his eye to Elec Man. He tried to assinate Dr Light and the people of Mega City several times and was always beaten by Mega Man. After travelling to Mega Man X's era he is sent back in time to start his own company to fund Wily's creations for the never created Mega Man 4-6 adaptions. Apparantley Ian Flynn planned for Wily to steal his identity and host the robot world tournament.
