There's so much to love about this plot: the unexplained appearance of new character Karate 003 from nowhere, the idea of a robot competition to help create robots that could stand up against Dr. Wily and then Dr. Wily just effortlessly destroying all of them in one moment, Wind Man completely throwing Centaur Man under the bus and telling Mega Man to go kill him instead of making any attempt to save Centaur Man's life, the shock and awe Knight Man feels when he sees that Mega Man can "punch and fly..." This is such a genuinely great kids' comic that I would have loved if I'd read it as a kid myself.

I love the comics. I get to practice my limited Japanese while trying to read them. I've downloaded all you posted (I think) and am excited for you to post more.
I always look forward to seeing these manga narrated in this format, its why whenever a new video from this channel pops up I know its going to be a good watch. Can't wait for part 2.

I can't remember where I saw the R6 manga before but I know I have seen some translation of the Plantman fight before. Obviously it's all super fast paced like the Archie Comics were but it's still fun to read. Thanks for providing us with that video and your inline translation :)
Oooooh! (mega)MAN! I love these MEGA MAN manga read through/reviews. All your manga videos are good belive me, it's just I am super biased. I have such wonderful and vivid memories of playing the NES MM games for hours (whole weekends) and they are some of my most fondly remembered moments. @keithseratt5926 there is still the X series and the world series. and a few misc. books. I thought it would be a cool idea to give everyone something to look forward to every year and when it’s all done people can look back and remember the run.
In the game of course Mr X turns out to be Dr Wily, but I remember hearing or reading that the comics went in a different direction and Mr X was actually not Dr Wily. This may be a false memory on my part though.

Thanks I’m glad you liked it! Unfortunately for MM6 the music choices were a little light. All the other games soundtracks had 2 or 3 good remixes on them that can really complement things but not 6! So I had to go to other games but hey it all works!
Hey im trying to find a source on your awesome parodius da video. I would comment there but comments are turned off. There's a point (4:28) in the video where you talk about Parodius for the MSX, it's inception, and development cycle. Specifically how it was originally a demo that was worked on by Snatcher Devs for fun in their free time (reminds me of story behind link's awakening). I'm wondering where the source for that information came from? I found a interview from graphic designer Toyo Shotaro which talks about the game's short dev cycle and limited print run, but it doesn't mention anything about the connection to snatcher or the period before the demo concept became considered for full release. Thank you so much for your time.

The story is repeated in a lot of places but I can't pin it back to the person who said it. Sorry. That was one of the few vides where I had a little help. Someone who was a super duper parodius fan wanted to contribute, so I was nice and let him and then he filled me in on that. I haven't talked to him in a while but he might still be around his channel name is KonaKonaKaabisteru. Maybe he can help ya out. One fact why tango wasn't in the lab it because mega man 5 gameboy have not come out yet and 2nd then mega man 5 gameboy came out the story took place before mega man 6
They really went hard with this one. If anything, now I feel that the actual Mega Man 6 game really should have had an intro stage like the ones from 7 on. A pre-game battle with Karate 003 would have really made the game pop.

I wonder why Blizzard Man is fought in "one of the most southernmost points on Earth". I thought he represented Canada, which is much, MUCH more north. Plant Man being based in the Amazon makes sense, as he supposedly represents Brazil. Where is Flame Man's palace supposed to be? In the game, he supposedly represents Saudi Arabia. Of course, Tomahawk Man is in the American Southwest and Yamato Man is in Japan. And where is the Capital of Science? England? Because that's the country that Knight Man supposedly represents in the game.
Years after this manga was released and upon seeing the stupidities currently happening in England and Canada, Capcom and the mangaka released a statement that the real life and game versions of Canada and England arent the same.
@WhatIsMatter101 I would also imagine that if this were a real situation to evacuate to the South Pole and regroup makes a lot of sense. Rather than going to an inhabited country.

Yeah the Plot is good except for Mr X ending up being Dr Wily, that part of the plot is stupid.
Love this take on 6 it feels the most tezuka like which knowing astro boy was one of the influences on mega man its fitting.
