I have the old LG OLED 55 INCH 1080p 2016 I didn't experience that much input lag, but then again I am using that TV as my PC Monitor for mostly Netflix. I tried Doom but I need a 1060 with 6gb of ram, graphics card so far my GTX 960 2GB can't handle it. :( Once I go OLED I can't go back to LCD, LED or even TFT. Maybe IPS but depends on the black levels.

I got me the LG oled 4K 55in tv on Black Friday and i heard about the lag thing on it and I was not gonna buy it cuz of wat other ppl said about it. All I gotta say is i have not experience any of that! Tv amazing! Look amazing playing battlefield 1 online.
dibils89 I still prefer to game on a monitor. I can get close to the monitor and it's an ips monitor so the colours are good. plus response time is 5ms. better than the 32ms by far

I got the Sony KDL-48WD655 where i use all of the picture optimizer without any lag while playing on the Xbox One s. It's size is like 48 inch and it has a 200hz motionflow x reality Pro processor. I can play without having issues like input lag or other weird things :) The picture quality blew up my mind. just love it a lot. :D
I have an LG 55' OLED 4K CURVED TV and i play my PS4 PRO AND MY XBOX ONE S on my tv and i have no lag what so ever . so not sure where you got your info but mines perfect for gameplay!!!!

sorry to say, LG released a firmware recently to have HDR game mode (32ms)
but the one you got is a superb TV so shouldnt be a problem
