Created in part using assets from Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (999), Virtue’s Last Reward (VLR), and Zero Time Dilemma (ZTD). The Zero Escape trilogy is a series of visual novel adventure puzzle games directed and written by Kotaro Uchikoshi, developed by Spike Chunsoft (999, VLR) and Chime (ZTD), and published by Spike Chunsoft (JP/WW), Aksys Games (NA/EU), and Rising Star Games (EU). I am not affiliated with Zero Escape or any of the aforementioned groups.

I love the details in the background of each character card. Like June having sudoku, the knife with the 9th man, the cage and birds with Luna. Everything is so well thought out

Man it blows my mind that this game hasn't gotten a full blown anime adaptation. Seriously believe it could be one of the most interesting stories to follow. Loved the game and this video just brings all the emotion to light man. Very very good work!

This is beyond perfect. I can't even describe how purely amazing this is.
First of all, the _arrangement_ made by Everything Fantasy is REALLY GOOD. I LOVE how it used Morphogenetic Sorrow and Blue Bird Lamentation so subtly. Of course, I knew Morphogenetic Sorrow was being used in the music, but realizing Blue Bird Lamentation was playing in the VLR section hit me like a freight train. That score was amazing.
I got chills, and my eyes were tearing up. I really love this opening. You did an amazing job with the editing.
This might be better than the first one! The special effects, music, characters, their all so cool!

Wow this is insane and I found this because of a tweet from the creator of the series himself, great job. I really hope we get a 4th Zero Escape one day. Not that ZTD was a bad game but it wasn't at the level of the other 2 and I would love the series to end with a bang.

in ZTD the animations seem so akward. Here they look alive while sprinting,

The transitions and video quality are sooo well made that i literally thought this was an actual game trailer.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, how does the 3d effect work better in this single video,
compared to both VLR and ZTD, the lighting, camera angles and models as well as the places/surroundings. 0:36

to the bluebird motif 1:15 is absolutely genius, props to the music guy for making that in this video!!

Zero Escape is my favorite series from all time, starting today every time that I'm showing the game to someone I'll use this trailer. It gives the vibes the games deserves.
This was INCREDIBLE! Holy smokes, you did amazing! The animations and references you made whilst also keeping the entire thing spoiler free is amazing!
Additionally, I'm really impressed by how you kept the visuals consistent! I uploaded the highest resolution art to the wikia that I was able to obtain for most of these characters, but a lot of their art still is relatively low resolution, but you can't tell in the video. Bravo!

Discovered the ZE series the same year I did for DR, and I should've went with the first. But oh well, I got to experience both! So now, 3 years later I'd have to say that ZE is one of my favorites out of the two.
I played ZE years before DR and thought I was being trolled with how popular DR was in comparison 😅
Now I understand more that people really enjoy the very anime/tropey premises and ZE, while still funny imo, takes it's story and the gaming aspects more seriously than other games, such as DR.
In hindsight I realize I must also be pretty good with mystery games, so while I thought DR was being patronizingly easy to the player, watching blind LPs has made me realize a lot of people don't solve the cases before the trial even begins, and thus aren't as bored as I was 😅
In any case, ZE kept me engaged, thinking, theorizing, interested - even ZTD! - so I am super grateful for it's existence in the genre ☺️

Here’s everything I noticed: (spoilers, obviously)
*note: I haven’t finished ztd so i probably missed stuff there
- the timeline at 0:28 leads the the submarine ending
- 0:35 Zero’s on fire, of course
- 0:42 Junpei is drowning, like in submarine ending
- 0:45 the edges look like they are freezing up, ice-9 reference maybe? (Might be a stretch)
- 1:03 the X over Ace’s face refers to how he cannot see faces
- not a spoiler thing but I LOVE LOTUS’ BACKGROUND SO MUCH (I guess you might consider it a spoiler that it implies how she’s into computers and hacking and stuff?)
- 1:17 The two Sigmas, one upside down, reference how there’s different “versions” of him kinda depending on what decisions you make as him (I feel like I worded that badly)
- 1:20 honestly I’m not sure which route had those choices on Ally and betray but it probably means something
- 1:23 once again not really a spoiler but I LOVE the birds and the birdcage thing in reference to her necklace
- 1:25 I love how you handled clover’s reappearance by not naming her and instead moving past her to the person she’s closest to in the game, and I love the choice of using the AB rooms for that
- 1:30 Dio’s is probably my favorite. The fireworks reference how he tries to blow the whole place up and the five images of him reference how he’s a clone
- 1:33 I’ll be honest I forget the significance of Quark getting a laser shot through him or why he has a heartbeat in the background. I assume the latter is because of how he’s missing and in the treatment box through a lot of the game?
- 1:36 Tenmyouji’s at the bar bc he likes drinking and the storm in the background represents how he witnessed the end of the world
- 1:38 woah there’s a cat in a box (presumably shrödinger’s cat)
- 1:40 Tu Fui Ego Eris is what’s on the grave-looking stone (correct me if that’s wrong) that, when unlocked, shows where Kyle
really is during the routes that Akane is in the suit
- 1:43 the images of Akane and and young Akane reference the true ending of 999
- 1:48 this whole scene with Junpei and Akane switching running through the different areas references how Akane was watching the events of 999 through junpei’s eyes and ends with the door opening to the incinerator that Akane maybe died in
- 1:54 Carlos is a fire fighter and so he’s in the fire
- the rest of C team isn’t named bc it’s Akane and Junpei and recurring characatrrs are a spoiler
- Same with D team
- 2:07 ther s a pause on Q since that’s what we call the character, but since it’s not his real name it just finishes it as “Q team”
- ummm Eric is looking at Mira but she’s not looking at him because she doesn’t really care about him (might be a stretch)
- 2:16 back tot he birds, connecting Diana and Luna
(ok that’s all I really know about ZTD someone else will have to explain those references lol)
BUT YEAH WOW THIS IS SO COOL
You caught so many details that I didn't! Helped me enjoy this even more. I love how there are so many things that, if you know you know, but if you don't know it's not spoilers. Here's some extra things I saw in the character intros:
- The background of Junpei's intro is reminiscent of the dog painting behind door 4, as this is the first possible reference to the morphogenetic field.
- The background of Clover's intro is redder than her usual pink. Maybe this is because Clover's endings have been the scariest endings in 999 and VLR.
- The 9th man has a knife in the background. He pulled a knife on Clover at the start but this only got himself killed, hence his own reflection in the knife.
- 1:20 I think this is after you go through the first set of doors with Tenmyouji and ally. Not sure what the meaning is though.
- 1:25 Might be a reference to Alice's bad end, where she made her way out of the infirmary just to betray you. The last thing Sigma sees is Alice in the AB room.
- 1:36 The thunderstorm might also be because of Tenmyouji's fight with Quark that caused Tenmyouji to almost die in a storm looking for him.
Won't share anything about ZTD since I don't know if you've finished yet, but I'm sure you'll notice it once you do!

This waz amazing! From the different songs perfectly flowing and connecting to all of the transitions between games and characters.
You also get extra points for showin Carlos with a gun and flames (which would have been a clever way of making him more suspicious to a new player, just like everyone outside of C-Team almost treats him like some mastermind XD), adding the Phi dropkick and letting 'Q' linger on Sean. This would have been amazing opening for the entire series...
Oh this is beautiful. Just like the games themselves, it doesnt hide anything about the game yet isnt even considered spoilers. Like two Sigmas in his introduction, and the multiple Dio's in his. Its out there in the open but its only stuff you notice after the plot twists hit you like a freight train.
