That was a damn awesome breakdown, I used to do them quite a lot but substituted those seated concentrations with Arnold curls and seated concentrations with cables. The seated dumbbell concentrations never felt like I was getting the right stimulus out of them, but your form tweak look interesting. Definitely gonna try those standing ones!
Jeff I've been following you for about a year now and my body has transformed i gained 6 lbs of muscle and my body is definitely taking shape. I went from an ultra marathon runner to a building machine. I'm now finding a balance between it all which was the hard part but hey im improving everyday. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation! I used to have lat imbalances as well. Do pull ups but with a different variation. Pull to your left side and then go back down, then pull to your right side. Just keep doing it that way instead of pulling up straight. And also do more unilateral movements
Hey did you ever figure this out bro?? I have scoliosis in the upper portion of my spine. It’s bad to the point where it actually is pushing my ribs on one side. One side of my back sticks out further than the other side (near my shoulder blade area). If you found a solution to help back proportions, please let me know !

Boi just do standing bicep wall stretches after the curls to minimize the soreness and stretch the facsia so you can straighten your arm right and still have good results Trust me i couldn't straiten my arm for the next 5 days the time i forgot to stretch
This helped greatly , i am over weight and have degenerative disk . I have been trying to do bicep curls with out putting weight my spine. compressing it.
I would love to see a video on how to increase mind muscle connection in the lats. Me and a lot of other guys I know have trouble with the lats especially.
I would pick a light weight and do small high reps where you can contract your lats. I would do that as activation. And then you can do your regular lat work. The key is to put your mind into the muscle and really focus on contracting the muscle through the whole range of motion
One thing i do to improve the mind muscle connection is to hold for a bit at peak contraction and really flex the muscles i'm looking to isolate, then slowly focus on the eccentric portion of the lift. I took my lat pulldown game to the next level with this.
A weight lifting professor. I use the consecrated curl because I train with dumbbells. But I have a very stiff band and wil incorporate the technique Jeff demonstrated. Great stuff.

CheeeezPIC a lot of unilateral movements and make sure your form is really good before you start squatting, deadlifting, or benching a lot of weight

I have a messed up shoulder that doesnt allow me to do proper seated or standing curls unless i have a bar. This helps alot.
