It was very difficult topic specifically get used to. I have listened I am used to or I used to but never listened get used to. So it's very new thing and I find it very difficult to use and understand it. Thank you sir.
I am an English learner from Kerala, India . In order to remember the lessons of this great teacher , I am writting these notes in Malayalam language as a comment. I used to go = പോകാറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു Negative form = I didn't use to go there or I used not to go there. I am used to eating raw meat = എനിക്ക് പച്ച ഇറച്ചി തിന്ന് ശീലമുണ്ട് To Get used to eating raw meat = പച്ച ഇറച്ചി തിന്നുന്നത് ശീലമാകുക. I am getting used to it : ഞാൻ അത് ശീലിച്ചു വരികയാണ്. I am getting used to doing that = അത് ചെയ്യുന്നത് ഞാൻ ശീലിച്ചു വരികയാണ്.
This is how you might say that: I'm used to shopping every day, but I had to stay home for two weeks. -- Start with the present tense because that first part is probably still true now--you go shopping daily--but then something interrupted your routine. It's hard to tell for sure without more information.
Hello sir first of all i love watching your videos. My question is Can present participle phrase be adverbial. ( We will cure them using this things. ) Does “using this things” answer to HOW to this sentence
I try to get used to my new nin I try to get used to diving into the sea without using any device. I used to dive into the water, now I didnt as did I after that accident.
That reminds me...I didn't mention the differences in pronunciation between "used to" and "use." There's an "s" sound in "used to" and a "z" sound in "use" or "used" without the "to."
He explains the topics in a easy way and even people who are not native english speakers can get him !

"Didn't use to..." is weird. So better use with 'never'.
You're right, but you will hear "didn't use to" when Americans speak English.
