  • Two fishermen have reeled in what is believed to be the largest shark caught in British waters.
Wayne Comben and Graeme Pullen, from Hampshire, caught the porbeagle shark off the Cornish coast at Boscastle, only a few hundred metres from the shore.

These sharks have an interesting reputation, They seem to be fairly benign towards humans and highly intelligent for sharks. They are the only shark that has exhibited play behavior. They like to play tag with each other and with objects floating in the water. They sometimes sneak up on divers and give them a little nudge then go racing off in the opposite direction. I'm glad they let it go.

They have special blood that can change temperature so they live comfortably in colder waters. Their a mackerel shark and a cousin of the Great White so larger Pot eagles can be mistaken for White sharks
