Kern County Fire Units on Scene of the 10th Fire, Mojave

On Monday, June 24 at approximately 1:45 PM calls came in regarding a vegetation fire in the areas South of Mojave and east of the 14 when crews arrived they found about 3 acres of brush on fire threatening homes Kern County Fire Department dispatched helicopter 408 drop water and had it contained to about 140 acres within 3 to 4 hours the cause is still under investigation
