i cant play it yet in a song but when i do it i get 50 % success rate there is a much easier way you can do this technique were you bend your index finger to make a pick and use the fleshy part of your thumb to make the harmonic (lay your thumb onto the index finger) if this does not work ..... i'm sorry for wasting your time reading this comment *thumbs up*

I've seen some good players use the middle finger to pluck the strings instead of thumb/pinky.
Middle finger for both up and down stroke. I think it's easier and usually sounds better.
Omg, I want this skill, but the barrier to entry seems like 10 miles high, whereas regular sweeping only felt like a mile or two high :P

I do it the opposite way.
Thumb to go up.
Pinky finger to go down.

Harp harmonics or artificial harmonica not sweep harmonics. I’ve never heard anyone call them sweep harmonics
That just refers to plucking one note. This is about doing a chord..
No you are not old but You are here
I would suggest slowing down the chord sweeps and making sure you don’t miss any harmonics. This is achievable 100% of the time with repeated and precise practice. It’s kind of useless if you can only hit it half the time.
Wait a minute isn't this what those deathcore bands would do on the 5th and 7th fret? Like and upward harmonic sweep from 1st to 3rd string? They use a pick but that's a sweep harmonic. I am confusion.
