Danny great job buddy. I'm gonna make a suggestion. More reviewers need to do more reviews with lower priced options.... Jansport, Swiss Gear, Ogio, Eddie Bauer, REI, 5.11. I find most reviewers cover the around $300. And above segments. Perhaps a $150. and below great options. Obviously you can't cover all bags and and brands. I also realize alot of the mainstream brands probably aren't as cooperative with reviewers/associate programs. We are pretty certain there are probably enough Aer Travel bag reviews on the UA-cam. 😂 Sometimes we just need a low prices, beater option for the times we aren't trying to impress. Yet want some decent quality. Still a great video keep it up.
Thank you for watching and glad to hear the lv18 is working out well! I haven’t had a chance to try out the new version, but the previous one was awesome
One of my favourite videos(reviews) from you Danny. This was very helpful. Muito Obrigado. I was in Brasil in April 2023. Lots of friends all over the country, and I attended a casamento. Thanks again!
Thank you for watching and for the support! That’s great you got to visit Brazil, definitely a beautiful country, I actually went for a casamento as well!:)
Pioneer Carry Duration Pack - at $315 and they slimmed down on the sternum strap and external water holder? - Pass (not worth it) This Pioneer bag won't survive as long as my inexpensive Wenger Synergy backpack ($100), which is worth five times as much and can hold more stuff .
Wenger/swiss gear synergy is priced well at $70-$100 but if you think it’s worth “five times as much” ($350-$500) you’re crazy. Bag is ugly as hell and materials are budget heavy.
@@LandoTomato Have you actually owned the bag? I deemed it's worth 5x because during the 14 years I had it, there were no tears or rips anywhere and it still look almost new after many trips while carried heavy stuff. When I buy any bags, I normally looking for a bag that meets my demands and is utilitarian, not its aesthetic. Ugly? It depends on each person. People are willingly paid $100K+ for CyberTruck and think it's the best looking truck out there, while others think differently. Budget? I'd not called it budget, because it hold up very well after that 14 years of use. Heavy? Compared to the typical backpack weight, it's only 1.5-2 lbs heavier due to the excellent padding - depending on an individual's level of fitness, it didn't feel heavy at all. I do owned some $200-$300 bags, but I've always ended up going back to this Wenger for my trips. BTW, I do like that Pioneer bag, but it lacks 2 must-have features that I need in a backpack.
For what it's worth, I bought the Pioneer Duration pack for $189 (40% off) on BFCM weekend, and at that price it's absolutely been worth it. Used it last month for holiday travel and it's become my go-to EDC bag to bring to the office. $315 retail might be steep, but for anyone interested, I'd highly recommend signing up for their emails and picking it up at a discount.
Yea this was a weird vid. Too many traveling/edc bags and only a few dedicated edc bags. The CPL16 is what we consider a true edc bag and the CTB20 a light travel bag (civic TRAVEL bag).
@mr_red13 every day carry looks different depending on what you carry, which varies from person to person. I used a 14L bag for a bit but found it had no extra room when needed for normal things. Upgraded to the ctb 20L which would be what I would now consider a minimum for edc. It could fit a day or two of clothes for light travel but the 26L would be a better bag for light travel of 3-5 days. I have the ctb 35 for normal travel which can carry over a week's worth of clothing. A good size for edc also depends on the size of the person. I'm a big guy so a 16L looks funny to me whereas 25 would be normal, which might be too big comfortably for someone far smaller.
@@britru3493 yes, some people’s edc can even require a 40L bag. But then they are looking at bags not marketed as everyday bags but rather step in the travel carry market. So perhaps the names “edc” and “travel” should be dropped and we should only use liters? What is your recommendation?
Great round-up of EDC bags. Brought my Max EDC to a recent trip and i love it.
Thank you for watching and great to hear the max edc has been working out well!:)

In three days' time, I'll be off to Australia, taking with me the Evergoods CTB20 and the July Carry On for the first time. Can't wait to test it out.
Thank you for watching and hope you have a great trip! Sounds like a great travel combo!
Is that the Flint & Tinder Waxed Canvas Trucker jacket I spy at 10:54? Mine LITERALLY came in as I was watching this.
Thank you for watching and yes that is the waxed trucker!! Absolutely loved using it on my trip:)
The bannoch pro is really cool and could be my work travel bag but it doesn't have a pass through.
Thank you for watching and good callout, a luggage pass through on this would be awesome!

Whoa what about the CPL16????
Thank you for watching and good callout! I’ll be featuring the CPL series in another video I have coming out soon
i took a look at my brother evergoods ctb26 and i think the blade20 from arcteryx is a better bag
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! The blade 20 definitely looks like a good one to check out!
Still waiting for your camino bag recommendation...
It'll be year 2050 and I'll probably still have my Vertx Ready Pack 2.0.
Thank you for watching! That one is definitely on my list of bags to check out!

The Mystery Ranch doesn't appear to have it's own chapter and heading. 🧐
Thank you for watching and for the heads up! Should hopefully be fixed now
Please provide bag weights. So many airlines are cracking down that a heavy bag is no longer an option.
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! I’ll work on adding them to the description of the video for easier reference :)
