I'm rooting for MiG-19 as tier 10 Soviet heavy fighter, although it would be better to have some Japanese high tier heavies first. Even if they would be completely made-up from paper scraps.

I'm not sure how well this is modeled in WoWP, but looking at the 262 vs Javelin from a purely visual perspective, I would expect to see a higher max performance turn rate on the javelin, but a huge loss in airspeed due to the low wing loading of the delta wing, allowing a 262 to out turn it over time. Or worse yet, the dropping of the nose to maintain ideal turn speed bringing the javelin in range of mid-level turn fighters.
Hey Vee, I love your vids mate. Could you do a series on how to defend against these "Best in Class" planes. I'd particularly enjoying seeing your thoughts and tactics defending against this bird.

XF-90 is what my planned next level 10 heavy is going to be. Now I when with the Me 262 HG III first. But... It was mainly due to I though the Me 262 was so iconic, and I was going down the line anyway. And I finished it this week due to the cheaper cost of it. But the XF-90 seems like a really neat plane and there some really cool planes to pick up if one goes down the two lines that gives you access to it. I am still pretty far off the Javelin though I did pick up the Beauflighter and Mosquito since I like those planes. But one day I will have a Javelin to. ^_^
You'll absolutely enjoy the P-38 line. They're very capable and deadly and it gets better and better at higher tiers (except the F7F, which I found lacking some speed and altitude. The advantage of the high tier american heavies is the 20mm cannons which are less lethal than the german 30s but definitely more consistent at higher ranges and better against lighter targets than 30s. the american heavies are my favorite heavy line in the game as they're deadly against everything
The XF-90 is really good, but the Mig-15 bis, the Swift, the Javelin, and the HG 3 can catch the XF-90 without straining to much. The problem with going for a complete speed build is that it sucks trying to get guns on target when flying so fast. Other than that its an awesome plane and I love flying it.
I really have a hard time against another HG3s or javelins, but keep in mind that you still have the speed advantage in higher altitudes against the faster fighters. My XF-90 is built for maneuverability and speed (light frame, light engine and gas turbine) and could technically reach about 1300 km/h in boost speed, but it's maximum dive speed is 1200 km/h so it's really easy to boost to 1200km/h and still keep going at that speed with the boost. You simply can't reach those speeds with the lightfighters, since they're more likely to be configured for maneuverability. Most players get off my 6 after realizing that they can't catch me, at which point i will turn around and destroy them with my 6 cannons
@@Stern98257 Right and thats how you should play it, but I know I can catch XF-90's in my Mig 15 bis that is set up for maneuverability. Either way the XF is still a darn good heavy and a fun plane to fly in general. When engaging other heavies you really have to wait for the right time and pick your engagements carefully. If a fast light fighter or another heavy gets on your tail just start climbing and using your boost at the same time. Most planes wont be able to follow you for very long.
@@-Infamous-Gaming Thats the way I do it. The way I see it is that those fighters chasing me break off fast because they realize they're just wasting their precious time they could otherwise spend on taking zones. I usually also play with a friend as a wingman and whenever any kind of fighter decides to attack me, i try to keep them busy with me while my teammate sneaks up on him for the killshot. In the event where he does notice my teammate and engages him instead, i quickly turn around and me and my teammate basically just switched places, where this time he keeps him busy and I do the shooting. This tactic has worked on so many occasions and it just makes your life that much easier.
As a person who plays war thunder those planes all feel really easy to fly
As a person who plays World of Warplanes, the planes in War Thunder feel like they're made of tissue paper and held together with spit and pixie dust.

I went for me262hgiii because of its looks I think the xf 90is the best hevy because of those guns if you go for speed build those guns will quickly do the damage and you will be gone before they noticed

how long does it take to get a jet? thinking of starting playing. war thunder is hell
I had all the tier x planes after two years of regular play. Year three, I collected over 200 planes in my hanger. If your goal is to just get a jet you can get to a tier VIII jet in about a month.
