I am not a thriller girlie either but I LOVED Sharp Objects! I loved it so much that I have read it twice now within 2 years lol. And there’s also an HBO MAX limited series of it which was also very good. There’s something magnetic about that setting/situation and the main character’s very relatable and unhinged thoughts/POV. Another lesser-known Gillian Flynn book that I loved was Dark Places. But that one is much more intense than Sharp Objects. That’s why I haven’t and won’t reread that one, despite really loving it. Can’t wait to hear what you think of Sharp Objects though! 💜
I recommend Marooned on Planet Android by Calanthe Colt for an easy sci-fi to get into, if you want to try reading more sci-fi. I was just looking for a spicy romance book with robots but ended up really liking the plot lol I really love how the androids were written. I read it on a library app and was shocked I ended up really liking it that I went and bought the physical book. I usually just read fanfiction for spice and romance because I haven't been able to find any romance novels I like until this book. (I love the videogame, Mass Effect and this book just made me think about characters from that game.) Also, I started reading the Murderbot Diaries because of you! I'm loving them so far, I'm on the 3rd book. You recommend it in one of your past videos and I put it on my list because I also love sci-fi but haven't read much books of it either lol I just play LOTS of sci-fi videogames mostly.
so many interesting reads ahead!! also the percy jackson movies are a bit of a disaster but the show is pretty good, so i definitely recommend watching it if you end up enjoying the story :))
@@geenahreads when it comes to the movies people tend to go into them with no expectations (they are pretty bad adaptations) but honestly if you don't think too hard about how bad they are you can have a fun time! esp with the first one
Supernatural is SOOO GOOD! You’re gonna love it 😊
your tattoos are stunning!
Ambitious June sounds like a dope name for a novel. Don't mind if I steal that.

So excited for you to get to percy jackson! Maybe it's time for a reread 😊
I look forward to your thoughts on Artificial Wisdom. I don't really read too much of Science Fiction or Fantasy myself, but I hope to this year 🙂
Neal Stephenson says sci-fi & fantasy are essentially the same genre (sf = speculative fiction) so ur claims to liking sci-fi are solid imo
Personally, harry potter is my favourite series as a kid but percy jackson is definitely superior in a lot of aspects. Lovee that series with my heart
Harry Potter is my entire childhood! I’m hoping Percy Jackson gives me even a sprinkle of the same joy

God dammit. That’s what she said (literally)

Is it at least a fun disaster?

The Percy Jackson movie is BEYOND terrible. Save yourself 2 hours of your life and skip it.
